Hi guys.

Here is a very very strange one that happened to me last night.

So I took a beating on Dead or Alive and had my balance devoured at minimum bets from £40 to £13.45.

With that final £13.45 I decided to bust on Book of Dead on £0.20 bets.

Within the first 30 spins I hit 4 Rich Wild symbols which should have paid me £20.

Not noticing immediately at first; when I looked at my balance it displayed a balance of £267.20.

Knowing something was (obviously) very wrong I closed the game to check things out.

To my relief (for now) my balance updated to show £40 (which appears accurate).

HOWEVER. After reopening Book of Dead again to try and hit the freespin feature my balance was now only showing £13.45 again. wtf?

This was my balance the first time I opened the game.

Tell me this, as the casino have not answered it and they are shying away from an answer.

How come after quitting the game my balance updated to £40. And how come my session showed as in real money mode if that wasn't the case?

After asking for it to be investigated. They go and tell me how I zeroed my balance the session AFTER this "Glitch". This is not good enough.

"Your current balance is 0.00 GBP, which was reached in the final round with ID: 1631279408."

Well, fecking Sherlock. I did not zero my balance when this error occured did I you muppet. My balance displayed properly as £40 when I quit the game at the time as it should have been!

Anyway, I busted the £13.45, no compensation and they explain it away by telling me how I lost that final £13.45 instead of explaining why my balance was still only £13.45 instead of £40.

I've attached screens. No idea what happened or if it's on the casino's end or PnG's, more likely the casino as the session was displayed in real money mode and the balance updated in the casino for a few minutes and then it just erased the £26.45 profit made.

Pretty frustrated.

Thoughts?

Something wonky happened. You showed a balance of $200 plus which you knew was a glitch. Are you dead certain you did not bet bigger than you thought you did? After all, casinos do not make mistakes.

You deserve an indepth look into this incident.

Don't let them brush you off. Assuming it's an accredited casino, contact the rep and go from there.

No, I wasn't betting any bigger Jazz.

As you can see, the bet size is £0.20 and it also displays I am in real mode.

Also no reps here I imagine, as it's a new casino. I replied to them to investigate further and explained that thier response wasn't sufficient given that:

A) It shows I was in real mode (which they wanted me to screenshot and make sure of)
B) After quitting the game my balance displayed £40, but after returning to BoD the balnce "Glitched" back to £13.45

Neither of which they explained and I have asked for an answer for.

We'll see what happens, but I expect that either they haven't a clue what happened, or they do but don't want the answer to be known as it would look really bad and incompetent on thier end.

I imagine something like this probably happened.

I opened the game with a balance of £13.45 in real money mode.

Suddenly I got "logged out" of the casino before taking my initial first spin (Is that even possible?). At this point I was playing for fun money and didn't notice so there was no log of my play there and my balance remained at £13.45.

But that wouldn't explain why after quitting the game my balance read £40 and I was still logged into the casino.

Something strange going on either way.

Forgive me for asking this but have you re-visited Book of Dead since zeroing out?

Sometimes a balance gets locked into a game and hence will not show in lobby.

Usually this is fixed by pressing 'collect' which I know we have to do on BoD.

I hope the fix turns out to be this simple otherwise I feel it maybe a case of paracetamol on standby :(

good luck

Yea I did Jono.

After Emailing support on the issue I revisited the game and Zeroed out the £13.45 balance on it.

You know what's funny?

No glitches and my balance didn't freeze at £13.45 when I was losing

funny that!

Weird

You will definitely have to make sure they look into it properly
If there good at there buiseness they will get to the bottom of it
Hopefully it won't take long :)

Try to be optimistic have the glass is half full attitude with a bit of persistence and luck it will work its self out :D

Thanks for the advice.

I have my own outlook which works for any situation whether you are an optimist or a pessimist.

An optimist is never going to be dissapointed as he'll look on the bright side, a pessimist is never going to be disappointed either as it was what he expected anyway.

No matter how it plays out, I'll just take it on the chin :D

The £40 could have been your initial balance if the main page doesn't update to reflect the in game balance, there is a little button next to it to force an update.

I've seen instances of this happening before when the game failed to communicate properly with the "wrapper". Casino games are often delivered via a 3rd party integration platform which is responsible for relaying the wins, losses and balance to the casino platform that houses it. Although rare, it can happen that this communication gets interrupted and the casino themselves would in all probability not be able to see that. However, the 3rd party software would usually have a record of what happened.

I have had this at two separate casinos before now and in both cases it took several days to resolve but in each case it was resolved satisfactorily after the casino and platform provider (presumably) liaised on the issue.

It's possible that a similar thing has happened here.

Unfortunately not.

After finishing on DoA (Which you correctly point out) with a £40 odd starting balance and before beginning BoD my balance was correctly displayed as £13.45 on the casino.

Getting back to £40 after playing BoD was just a coincidence with what I started Dead or Alive at

Thanks Simmo!

Still not much of an explanation to me though I think. The casino was able to update my balance to £40 after quittting the game, which suggests that communication was happening between the slot and the casino.

It still doesn't explain why my balance went to over £250.

My in game balance before taking my first spin displayed properly as well at £13.45. I was delighted to hit the 4 Rich Wilds at 20p only to have a look at my balance a few spins later and see it sitting at over £250.

I can't wrap my head around it, and neither can the casino as of yet.
