So, what is your favorite gaming software? Please let me know your top three choices, (select them), and let me know why by posting your response.

For instance, my favorite is Microgaming - mainly because of the integrity of the games, its software (awesome slots, best VP software, progressive jackpots, wide game selection). And their history of fairness. The other two - hard to say, but probably Netent and a tie between WMS and Nextgen. :D

So what are yours? If you don't see it listed, please post.

Yggdrasil slots are reviewed at Casinomeister - and so are their casinos.
I'd say Microgaming for their huge selection of quality premium titles. Even their clones have great production values. Gameplay is generally consistent and not too rigged overall

There's a huge array of variance to choose from, so it caters to every type of player

Netent is a close second, their 2010- 2014 games were probably the best out there amongst all providers. Great graphics, fair & lowroller- friendly gameplay and some notable cult classics like the infamous DOA.

The last two/three years have been a tad ropey, and the games all seem to have brutal 'Netent Variance' as default settings, ie the inability to ever truly get ahead of your bankroll.

A guilty pleasure of mine is Playtech - some amazing, fun games marred only by their being tied to ludicrous jackpots and subsequent low RTP, so not good for lowrollers at all. Their Marvel games were a blast, and the likes of Marilyn Monroe/ Great Blue etc could provide some astounding wins. Design was top-notch too and a close third behind the big two

Play'N'Go, NetEnt and Microgaming - VIPER ONLY!

I never play MG games in "flash" and I am dreading the day when all MG downloadable casinos are made obsolete - I may well never play their games again. :(

KK

I agree 100%. I am hoping that MGS never lets the viper software fade away. The video poker has no comparison, and it's what I play primarily.

My choices are based on being a low roller and a not very frequent depositer anymore.

BTG, because I love bonanza and not really had a bad run on it except for the first time I ever played it, can make your money last a quite a long time. I have had over 4 hours on a tenner before.

Blueprint, because I like the newer titles they are bringing out and the chances of the little random bonuses, although the Blueprint slots can be very frustrating.

Play n Go, because as the same of my first choice, some of the slots can make your money last a while and chance of a big win on some of them.

Proper gone off MGS and WMS lately although I do still have the odd dabble on some of them.
Net Ent, I have to be in the mood.

But for me being a low roller and low depositer, I have to think of the playtime I can get instead of busting in 10 minutes, which still can happen of course.

Think I have been put off SG Gaming for life after that Piggy crap they have brought on on the T777 cabs in the arcades.
Even though WMS are now classed as SG, I still class WMS as being as their own.

Novomatic - Awesome bonus rounds and win potential
Merkur - A new even more brutal range of high variance slots that i can now play :D
Nextgen - the range which has produced my biggest cash win ever on Medusa II, plenty of other good underplayed slots in this range too:)

Red Tiger Gaming should be on the list too.

Still voted for BTG, MG and NE as they have the best variety.

Can't play Novomatic, Merkur, WMS and Yggdrasil, hence, couldn't vote them.

I quite like the newcomer Foxium, they are available at a few casinos incl. VS, LeoVegas.

I just wish MG would do something decent fOr a change,

1st MG
2nd Novomatic
3rd WMS

It's a tie for third between MG and Novomatic, but #1 and #2 is Merkur and Big Time Gaming.

They're both responsible for my biggest wins, and with Merkur I love the quick game play of their HTML5 slots, Older Flash ones with no space bar control is a bit iffy but hey, good games regardless.
Big Time Gamings latest releases are just great. I've never actually hit big on Danger: High voltage but the gameplay is fun so I keep trying. As for Bonanza, well, I had to make a CM account just because of Bonanza. And I love the music. Only wish I could turn it on in bonus games exclusively.

Edit: a word

I like Netent, MG and Playtech but all 3 softwares exclude HK players. MG no thanks to a crooked group. I can only play RTG and a small number of lesser-known softwares. Damn!

After all these years of playing and there is still Software I haven't even tried :eek2:
Us women tends to stick with our favourit slots, and not much can change that.

For me it has to be Novomatic, MG and Netent.
I wish I could have chosen at least 5 because I play WMS and BTG just as much, but fewer games with them.

Isn't WMS part of SG Interactive now?
Also I think we should add softwares like Quickspin, Thunderkick, Elk and Pragmatic.

They have been part of SG for "donkeys" :D

I agree with Elk Studios needing to be part of the list, Pragmatic maybe too, but QS and T have too many nonsense-drivel slots that pay so little on wins that it is a surprise when i get past 10x bet.

But especially Elk with Sam on the Beach, Hong Kong Tower etc. is producing real high quality mobile slots with good win potential.

I put Netent but honestly I don't have a favorite software anymore. My Fav slots are Thunderstruck II from Microgaming and Dead or Alive from Netent. The only reason why I put Netent over the other softwares in the poll is that their slots are interesting.

Edit: I do like Pragmatic slots but only a few casinos have them. Now those slots are fun!

1. Microgaming. Reasons why....

- What Bryan and KK said about the Viper Client. Yes it is gathering an ever-increasing list of shortcomings as technology continue to make its advances, but as long as Viper client exits, I will play MG games more than any other software.
- What Bryan said about their VP catalogue. No one else comes close. No one is even on the same planet, VP-wise.
- They created The Dark Knight (god I miss that game so much) and Lord Of The Rings (a game I never had the pleasure of playing). Two of the all-time greats as far as I'm concerned. And they were part of...
- The "golden era" (well to me anyway) of MG 243 ways. TS2, IR, TDK, LOTR, Playboy, Finer Reels, Santa's Wild Ride, Girls With Guns 1 and 2, Avalon 2, Jurassic Park and yes, even BSG and its subpar paytable. I play these games more often than anything else out there and I don't see that changing.
- The classic 9-lines, like Agent Jane Blonde, Thunderstruck and co. Agent Jane will always remain a favourite of mine.

Forget the fact that MG have "not done much lately". And what they have done (in the last 3 years) would suggest that they have regressed into a nothing more than a rampant slot cloner. But some of their games (like those in the 243 ways era) are games to be proud of. I prefer to judge them on the amount of quality games they used to produce, rather than the cloned crap they produce now. Prior to Autumn 2014, they had a long history of excellence.

So for the overall body of work up to Autumn 2014, Microgaming is still number 1 for me. And it probably always will be.

2. Netent. Reasons why....

- Jungle Spirit
- DOA, even the watered-down HTML5 version.
- the Universal series (particularly the Turd and Invisible Man).
- the production values (sounds, music, graphics, all-round aesthetics). More often than not, they produce games that would score good style points, even if the substance is lacking. But seriously Netent, ditch the dreadful ELC-type * slots already.
- good catalogue of games

* ELC = Early Learning Centre

3. This is where I'm having trouble deciding. I'll say Novomatic, narrowly ahead of NextGen. I've done considerably better on NextGen games,
but I have to admit that Novomatic probably have a greater range of games that appeal to me. I just haven't landed any of those really crazy multiple re-triggers that you can get on Novo slots. If I had done, they might well be my Number 1.

As for the rest (the ones that I know I have tried)....well I would probably rank them

5. BTG, despite the punishment I have taken on them.

6. WMS, only because of the immense pulling power of the Rhino. Take that orange bastid away and I probably put WMS near the bottom.

7. Blueprint - I haven't given Blueprint much of my playtime or a fair chance. But I must admit I like Imperial Dragon, Count Duckula and Wish Upon A Jackpot.

8 - Yggdrasil. Some of their slots look awesome (high on style points), but the paytables are just so ugh (low on substance points).
Golden Fishtank is a superb game though and I also like Vikings Go Wild.

9. Playtech. Would probably be somewhere between 3 and 6 if the Marvel slots still existed. But all I have left now is Buffalo Blitz, Great Blue and Penguin Vacation.

10. ITG. Cleopatra Plus alone makes me prefer them to....

11. Play N' Go. Book of Dead made me hate them with a passion and boycott them for 5 months.

12. Quickspin...I'd only play these games on 10p a spin and out of sheer boredom or because I was given free spins on them. Playing these games on a regular basis would make me quit slots altogether or make me go on life tilt. No thank you.

Never played the rest, but I am going to give Merkur a try in the future for sure. I can see why people like them.

Microgaming- Great and interesting selection of games.

Netent-Has become very unlucky for me lately but do love the games.

Play & Go - Becoming rather popular in my eyes especially Book of Dead.

1) WMS (even if I shouldn't play it in my country - online), but someway I can manage to have some fun with the "orange thing"
However, the choice of different games with different variances amuses me.

2) MG - mainly bevause of Videopoker, where poker is CARDS and it's not a slot machine.
Furthermore, I can have some fun with the old slots

3) NetEnt - Still I think that DoA is the game where I did the most relevant number of spins of my gambling carreer.
Some other "old" games still are ok for my playtime.
