This is just question as it hasn't happened to me yet.

But I was playing under a promotion at Williamhill where they gave you 10 spins on their Superman The Movie slot which is a linked DC Jackpot slot.
Max cashout was £20 after wagering the winnings from the freespins 40 times.

This was my result, and it was slightly annoying to complete this when you think about it as it such a low RTP slot and this was my result and I only get £20 out of it!

Anyway, lets get to the point.

I asked Support out of curiosity what would happen if you were to win one of the Jackpots while playing this bonus, as surely you must be able to get those winnings right? Apparently not..

"With regard to your question about winning a jackpot, on the T&Cs it says the maximum withdrawable amount is £20, regardless if you win a jackpot or not.

Hope you understand.

Surely this cannot be the case? If it is, it seems like a ploy for the casino to keep the Jackpot money themselves if someone was to trigger them and it's not being paid out by the casino them self either if I am not mistaken..

I assume this is why most casinos does not allow wagering on Jackpot machines, but this promo was exclusive to this one slot as well.

It's William Hill apparently they can do what they want. Not a great outfit at all. If it's stated in their t&c's that max cashout from free spins is £20 then by golly they are going to stick with it no leeway at all I am afraid. This casino ought to be avoided in my opinion:)

So there are no regulations or anything that would prevent them from refusing a linked Jackpot to a player and stealing all the money themselves?

A Playtech casino confiscating a jackpot and keeping all the money for themselves...
... surely that could NEVER happen!

This is precisely the case. In fact it would be safe to assume that this is WHY they allow players to play free spins on these Jackpot games. £20 max cashout and a potential enormous win for the casino? It's worth the gamble to them.

PlayTech themselves don't give a shit either. For such a huge games developer their business ethics beggar belief.

Does the jackpot actually get paid out to the casino? Or has the provider got a deal going?

I would bet money that they would promote a JP win and give like the winner a few 100

It is misleading and now the U.K gaming commission are seeing abit of sense this shit can get put to rest, If a casino is offering free games on on JP machine and is won than it should be paid, Cap or no cap on winnings.

I am sick of seeing piss poor offers like this especially when on some offers the JP can not even be triggered yet the promo boosts about being the next big winner

Agree there mate.
Those type of offers are a waste of time even playing, you can't win the jackpot on a jackpot game?.. wtf!.. great haha
Then you can only use winnings of a max £20 on the same game you won on.
Can't see the point myself.

I won a 2.5k jackpot at Europa casino back in the day...was from marvel slots.

The jackpot was paid to Europa from the jackpot pool and I was never paid it. I had actually deposited, but unbeknown to me they awarded me a £10 bonus which i didnt notice and it stuck me in....

I was livid. Thats what led me to finding this place. If only I knew then what I know now.
