Chance Hill casino has a new ownership

Dear Partner,

Please be informed that, from March 1st, 2017, Chance Hill will be owned by HonestPartners

Chance Hill casino will remain active but all the affiliate activities will be moved now to Net Refer affiliate software and all the current links will be disabled.

We strongly recommend you to pause the traffic and contact xxxxxx at honestpartners.com who will be in charge of all affiliate transition.

Pending commissions (Until February 28th, 2017) will be settled by previous owners, Chance Hill BV. In case you need any information about this matter please contact xxxxxxx at ikibu.com

Just a heads up. I don't know what this means for their accreditation, but I have informed Bryan.

Looks like its Instacasino.

Are those reputable?

I hate it when casinos sell out to someone else and dont even let the players know, but Instacasino is also operated by MT Secure Trade

Instacasino is OK as far I remember.

Bit of a shock read given how fairly new Chance Hill are.

Also wondering if Ikibu their 'sister site' will be affected who are currently under BBF?

Would have though so and will Rafa still be the rep etc, etc, etc

No, Ikibu are still owned and run by the same people. They have simply disposed of their other asset, Chance Hill.

So you're saying that the whole casino will be runned by other people and our accounts are simply moved over to them?
Then Chance Hill can't stay accredited here since they don't have a rep.

I can imagine Bryan's feeling when finding out from a members post. Not that well handled.

Ok but be ready for a influx of spam, e-mail and phone (SMS). At least someone from that casino passed my details to a bunch of spammers.

Hello All,

That is correct. Chance Hill is no longer part of our properties. We will still be managing Ikibu as usual.

I don't want my details anywhere near Instacasino, they sold my details too and I had no end of spam emails and sms from the people they sold them to.
Please confirm how I should stop you transferring my details?

Nice of you to give affiliates less than 24 hours to change all their links, thats disgusting. Like no one has anything better to do, which could have been solved if you had gave a weeks notice.

Are all players going to be transferred to the new affiliate backend as your email makes it sound like it isn't going to be automated? I would suggest all affiliates take screenshots and download reports to ensure everything is transferred over properly.

Yep, Chance Hill is being removed from the Accredited Section. The sale was in rather poor form. No notification - no one has come forth introducing themselves as a new owner. I hate to say it, but it really reflects poorly on the new business operation as well as how much the Accredited Seal is valued. That needs to be removed today.

And the old owners surely as they haven't even bothered to inform customers or yourself at all, or affiliates until today? In fact, more the old owners in my view, as they can't really do anything until they take control.

Yes, this hasn't been handled well at all. There is a more or less dormant account from one of the co-founders of Instabet in the forum. https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/members/ He was spanked in November for posting bonus offers in the forum and hasn't shown any concern to maintain a presence. Just an indicator of a lack of interest with the Casinomeister community unless it's to get traffic.

The old owners have Ikibu and they are just in BBF so no accreditation yet. It should maybe be a normal one instead though since the 30 day's was because they already had one accredited.

The new owners Instacasino aren't accredited and since it's new staff, and maybe new rules they should go through another one anyway.

I just hope that it won't start a sister site to Ikibu within a year and then we're suddenly told that Ikibu have been sold. Maybe they just like to build something up to then sell. Just some silly thoughts from me but it's kind of normal in other markets, so why not in this

Edit: Ikibu's BBF has been put on hold, in case someone reads this thread but not the other one.

Well Rafelito was reading this thread around an hour ago so obviously can't be arsed to answer the questions.

I have closed my account with ChanceHill, and asked that my details were removed from the system and not to pass them to the new owners, which I was assured was done. However when i try to login it says my account is blocked, how can it know it is blocked if theres no record of me in the system.

Chance Hill isn't wasn't a bad casino by any means. Now as we know, when a new casino is launched by trusted and reputable groups there is always a honeymoon period where affiliates recruit a lot of players and we can see that on this forum too, when Bryan presents us with a new BBF casino.

There is then 2 ways the group can go - firstly develop and establish new casinos along the same lines and same ethos with equal effort going into all, say like Guts, Betspin then Rizk or 32red then Dash, Golden Lounge etc. and building up their portfolio.

The second model will be to cash-in on the last one, sell it on presumably at a profit then repeat this again with a new venture, in other words publicize the brand, enjoy the honeymoon period of new player recruitment which builds up the value of the new site and thus make that eligible to be sold on at a profit.

The second model is not, in my opinion, a good business practice in online gaming. Every time this happens you will have players lose their faith and trust in the site once it's sold on and then they no longer have their comfort zone, which is essentially their familiarity with the site and its operation when they joined it originally. So it's profitable in the short term for the owners or operators but potentially bad for the players and affiliates.

The new owners (whomever they are) may or may not be bothered with any CM accreditation their purchase had although it may have been a selling point when they bought it - they've lost that straight away, and inevitably will see players reluctant to deposit until they know the casino still remians trustworthy. So yeah, it's great for the sellers but not the rest of us.

I know there are 'business decisions' to be made by owners but a strategy of building a site, accrediting it, flogging it on and then repeating the process is pretty certainly going to be detrimental to both players and affiliates.

If they promised you to do that then they lied. They can't remove anything or they would risk their license.
I just hope they haven't SE:d you so you'll get into trouble at the other MT Secure Trade's casinos.

One second and I will close your account Colin
Colin 07:29:40 pm
and remove all my details?
Salmon 07:29:53 pm
Your account is currently closed Colin. All your details are erased
Colin 07:30:26 pm
so you can confirm none of my details will be passed to the new owners, and haven't been already?
Salmon 07:30:31 pm
Yes, you will not receive more emails or sms from Chance Hill

Pretty clear in what he said, if he did lie I would hope the other casino's operated by them are looked at closely too, if my details are passed over after I have expressly told them not to, and been told they won't be, I won't be happy either.

This is one reason why I am very reluctant on taking on new casinos. It's a trend. And it's bullshit. It has nothing to do with enriching the playing field with really great business and casinos - it's a cyber turnstile that considers players as merely sheep.

Yep completely agree. Start a casino, get x number of players, agree a price of £xx to sell at, walk away with money in your pocket. Wouldn't trust any of the casinos in this group any more as if that is their end game, them why bother supporting them.

Find it extremely suspicious that rafelito read the thread this evening and decided not to answer any of the questions in the thread, especially the ones about players being transferred to the new affiliate platform.

Hello,

I read the thread as I get constant norifications to my email. As you I hope you can understand I am not at the office at midnight, eventhough I have in many cases solved problems for many of you at midnight or on weekends.

Any how if you would be so kind to allow me until the morning, I will be able to offer a more detailed explanation.

Best,

Rafael

As far as I understand that guy he just told you he had removed you from the list so you wouldn't get any emails or sms, and of course closed the account.
By telling you the details was erased he just got you quiet.

Wait a couple of weeks and then go back and ask the new staff if you can open your account again. Then you'll know ;)

@ Rafelito

You might suggest to the old management (and the new, for that matter) that transparency goes a long way in engendering trust in issues like this, and they may like to identify themselves or their operators in corporate terms.

Giving players, other interested parties and affiliates a reasonable amount of notice would also be a big improvement.

I assume that the licensing authorities must surely have been advised?

Why not just be open and issue a press release detailing the change of ownership and other relative information?

Rafael :(

This has been handled very badly. I will also be closing my account @ ChanceHill this morning as I have suffered the bombardment of spam from that Insaclowns aswell.

And I think for safety sake I will be closing Ikibu too. As I know it isnt changing hands at the moment. It will eventually.
