I deposited to Phoenician today and when I tried to withdraw usint Neteller instant, I only found out that:

UNFORTUNATELY THE INSTANT NETELLER PAYMENT OPTION IS TEMPORARILLY UNAVAILABLE. PLEASE USE THE "NETELLER MANUAL APPROVAL" OPTION. THANK YOU


I contacted Live Chat and the customer care immediately responded with

Customer Care: We are currently reviewing the Neteller agreement and until this has been completed I am afraid that the Instant Neteller option is unavailable. If you would like to make a Neteller withdrawal then please use the Neteller Manual Approval option. Your Withdrawal will go through the manual processing channels and will be processed as soon as possible. We apologize for this inconvenience.


The Neteller Manual Approval includes 2 days pending period. Since the only reason I played at this casino is their instant withdrawal facility, I asked whether they can process my cashin immediately ( I mean Instant Mannual option) and I only get the reply repeatedly:

Customer Care: Unfortunately we cannot offer Neteller Instant anymore until management have reviewed the Neteller Agreement. I apologize for any inconvenience.

I specifically asked to shorten the 2 days pending period, the reply is still:

Customer Care: You will have to make a Neteller Manual withdrawal. This will then be processed by finance for you after 2 working days.


I asked to talk to their manager but was refused.

I am quite disappointed at this. They are not very helpful. They have not informed me of the suspension of Neteller Instant withdrawal option and when I asked them to process the withdrawal asap, they just refused saying that this has to be processed after 2 days pending period.

If it were not the Neteller Instant option, I would go for InetBet since they have much fast payout.

By the way, anyone knows whether Inetbet process cashin during weekends? and how about Captain Cooks?

I do not understand this. Why are casinos constantly changing the way they do business and their terms and conditions? I have yet to see a casino make changes that improves the business, it is always for the worse. Until I get the official information on why they have gotten rid of the instant withdrawals, I can't say too much but I can say that if it is permanent I will not play there anymore. I gave up on RTG's but when I do feel like playing I play at Phoenician Group casinos. Main reason was the instant withdrawals, and good CS. It would be a major step back to remove the instant withdrawal feature, but like I said most casinos move in reverse when it comes to their business practices instead of moving forward.

At this point I've got to consider that the jury is still out on this one. It may very well be that this has been perpetuated by Neteller rather than the folks at the Phoenician.

Having said that, I find it more than just a little disconcerting to find that no one heretofore at the Phoenician and/or Neteller has had the common sense to advise their clients/players of this not so slight development and substantially in advance of it's implementation. Afterall, it borders on the ridiculous for one to think for even a minute that one or both of these entities didn't have any prior knowledge of this change. Have a good one.

If this is permanent, they are losing the one thing that put them up there with the best online casinos.

If it is not permanent, they were very wrong not to notify their players either via email or at time deposit was to be made.

I am very interested what this "reviewing the neteller agreement" is all about.
 
Wonder if this has anything to do with Dean leaving Phoenician. Perhaps new management has made this change.
 
I wonder if it has to do with the recent NETeller problem where withdraws and deposits either didn't gone through or gone through multiple times?
Think about it, if every instant payout/deposit gets done multiple times, someone is going to lose a lot of money fast within a very short time with the instant payout feature.

Just a thought ....
 
A bad feeling about the change is that while I haven't received any promotion e-mails for the last two months(though I still continue to play there regularly), I received a 50% match offer today. I made a deposit, met the WR and tried to cashin only to find that the Neteller instant option is not available.

Another bad feeling is the support seems don't listen to their customers. Just repeatedly saying that (1) Neteller Instant is temporarily unavailable and (2) the Neteller Manual option includes 2 days pending period which they can't change.
 
The main reason I play at Phoenician was that withdrawals were instant, just like at a land based casino. This sets them apart from all other casinos.

With this change, there is virtually nothing that tells it apart from dozens of other online casinos. Quite frankly if I have to wait 2 working days for my money anyway, there are quite a few other places (Microgaming and Cryptologic) where I feel much more secure depositing my money than some RTG outfit.
 
Phoenician Problem

More than likely the neteller fees got to be too much for these casinos . It was too good to last. Hopefully they will get it worked out , and resume neteller instant pay.

But they must have an account at NETeller and member to member transfer at NETeller is free, no?
 
I am sure the people they advertise with will find out pronto if this is a permanent change since their big advertising message (all over the place) is their instant Neteller withdrawals.

This would mean alot of ads will have to be changed or their advertisers will be getting lots of complaints real quick.

I also have a feeling this has to do with neteller costs.

I am sure we will find out soon.

Don't merchants have to pay something like 2.7% per transanction?

Bigger than the casinos house edge when you think about it. Perhaps casinos negotiate better rates given that they supply most of Netellers business.

The communications vacuum is worrying - this is where Dean had value: he would have been in here explaining what was going on and reassuring his players.

Seems they are not providing the instant facility anymore, at least not in the near future.
