Just had this chat with a support agent from 32RED concerning my withdrawal from yesterday:

You are now chatting with Ben
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ben: Hi, how can I help?
Me: Hi, can you tell why my withdrawal from yesterday is still pending and reversible?
Ben: The pending period for reverse transactions time is now 24 hours
Me: is this new?
Ben: Yes this is a recent change in the payments policy that is correct
Me: why?
Ben: It is a recent change implemented as a business decision by the site
Me: Does this mean that all withdrawals first have a 24 hours pending period?
Ben: Yes payments will be pending for 24 hours before it is completed that is correct
Me: You do understand that players are not happy with first he non weekend payouts and now a 24 hours pending period.
Me: So if I win on a Thursday afternoon I will get paid on a Monday?
Ben: I am sorry really this is not a decision made by the support staff, if you have concerns or feedback might you email support@32red.com and that can be passed to the relevant people and management. Yes if you completed a payment on Thursday after the cut off it would be paid on Monday
Me: Ok ty
Ben: Thank you for your understanding, I do appreciate what you are saying

Ah sorry did not see that , moderaters just delete this thread

No, it's just good that more players do see the changes that's been made.
Then they know they need to flush their cashouts to get it faster.

So well done reminding us ;)

Besides...who doesn't want to read yet another thread about 32Red? :D

Gokkie I guess you didn't request it to be flushed? I missed the other thread and was wondering why my withdrawal from Dash yesterday was still pending now, am going to ask them to flush it now and will update this post with the result.

EDIT: Took a few minutes to get somebody from support but the flushing was done in a few seconds, so I don't think this change is too much to worry about.

Asked that in chat too:

Me: Can I still flush?
Ben: Yes you can flush payments as normal
Me: Can you set my withdrawals on autoflush or something? So when I withdraw in the evening it still is processed the next day?
Ben: that is not possible sorry Ed
Me: But if I withdraw in the evening and have it flushed it will still be pending but not reversible?
Ben: Yes that is correct

It looks like they're taking yet another step backwards compared to everyone else, who seem to be trying to pay faster, which i would think, would gain more business. seems rather short-sighted.
Most 32Red customers will have accounts at other casinos. They'll just deposit more there, and less, if any at 32Red

I wasn't aware of this at all, the 24-hours pending at 32red.
It seems they keep pushing and nudging downward the once high specifications of their casinos, resting on their laurels after being awarded best casino year after year.
If they get the award again this year I'll start wondering if they have some sort of divine protection.....

This is a bad development for sure, and anyone trying to put a positive spin on it isn't really helping any party concerned.

The natural expectation would be that a casino that is being honoured year in year out by the most (only?) respected casino forum would be so proud of that achievement that it would be surely trying to IMPROVE even further.
So this trend for regression is a concern.

However for the sake of perspective, there are things that matter more than speed of withdrawal. eg If you get a big hit or even a life changing hit at 32 red you can sleep in your bed knowing you will get paid.
Contrast that to some of the murky f.u. clauses that are creeping more and more into the T and Cs of the competing Viper MG casinos.

That being said, there is only one reason why a casino implements a 24 hour policy like this, and that is to increase reversals.
That fact lends itself to a culture of players being treated like targets/mugs instead of valued customers, which is damaging to the image they have successfully built over ten years.

For this reason they should imho really reconsider the move for the sake of the bigger picture

I play there every day and I always play in the evening after work. When I got Lucky and cashed out, I ALWAYS got paid the next morning around 11:00. Now I will have to wait another 24 hours or 3 days when I withdraw on a Thursday. So this is a very big change for me. Their customer service is still the best but when I get paid within minutes including weekends at other casinos which are also top notch I will be less and less inclined to play at 32RED.

Didn't you read Marks reply in the other thread?
You misunderstood Live chat.
If you flush it, it will be paid as soon as possible.

For me who knows that I can flush it there is no difference at all.

I feel the same way really. as long as I know I can get it flushed anytime I like, its no big problem for me.

Just saw Marks post. I guess I misunderstood the chat host. Thank you for clarifying that Mark.
I will just ask for a flush after a withdrawal so all good for me then :)

My reply from the other thread for your convenience...

Hi Guys,

Just to clarify - if you request a withdrawal to be flushed, it will be paid in the next batch regardless of the 24hr pending period.

We process payment batches during UK banking hours, e.g. 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

- If you withdraw at 10am on a Monday and request a flush it will be processed on Monday.
- If you withdraw at 10am on a Monday and don't request a flush it will be available to reverse for a minimum of 24hrs before being flushed and processed the next banking day.

I hope that clarifies things. :)

Mark

The only problem tho Tirilej is that not all players know or understand about flushing. They will only know that for some reason not only are they no longer getting paid at weekends but payouts during the week are also slower. Once that happens a few times they will start to go why wait a few days for cashout when other casinos pay them instantly.

Hey you...didn't you sign up at a casino forum when you started gambling online?
I believe most do or they will at least read about the terms somewhere.

The new ones will find their way eventually so I don't think that's a huge problem :)

My reply from the other thread for your convenience...

what good is a 24hr reversal if you can request a manual flush with a click of a button? It only makes more players request for CS, you could easily rather add another button in cashier for a manual flush....a little confused behind the reasons ....:confused:

Lol to be honest no I went years before I started reading promotions and to be honest I was lucky that casinos I used were all good as I never really read terms in those days. I do now tho and ive never had a problem getting a payment. But 32red is advertised everywhere in uk so a lot of people will sign up to it as first casino and might never think about forums etc. . Those are the ones that will wonder why payments are taking longer to get paid to their accounts etc.

That was my first thought too so I know how you're thinking.
They just wonder why one time though. Then they ask ;)

...and there probably is noone like you Paul :D

I do not think in the reviews re: rewards for 32red it should say they surpassed everyone expectations year after year certainly not this or last year just look at the comments from all 32 red forum from the past year re changes it has not been for the better. Can anyone say they surpassed your expectations recently??

This is a pretty big change, and not at all as innocent as some make it out to be.

First they removed weekend withdrawals, and now they have implemented a 24 hour pending period.

The next thing to go will be the option to flush, if/when enough players use that option they will remove it, otherwise there is no point in implementing a 24 hour pending period.

If the casino wanted people to be aware of and use the flushing option then they would just have all withdrawals be non-reversible by default like Guts and others do.
But clearly they don't, as already mentioned in this thread the only reason to implement a 24 hour pending period is to get more people to reverse their withdrawals.

Requested a flush on $2300 12 days ago... They still let me reverse it just now and lost it all in about an hour.. Oh well guess we're homeless.
