Ok, been a member here since 2009 ---------- still confused at times. I also haven't been here much in the last year.......and there have been changes as I am finding out.

Thought I had posted this earlier, but nothing showed up, so must be my bad. Or if a duplicate - someone please take down.

When I get a promo from a different /new casino that I haven't played at before, I take my own advice:

Check the Accredited List - nope didn't show up, so I go on to check to see if they are rogued....

Check the Rogue List - nope didn't show up

Check the Not Recommended List - nope

Check the On Probation List - nope

Check the Dungeons of Evil - nope

Okay ------ I figure then it is one of the casinos that falls in between.....not accredited but not rogued either. I know there are quite a few of those.......so I play and proceed with caution for a small deposit to try it out. I am in the middle of sorting through an issue now with that same casino....

Now while I am waiting for this to be sorted out by the casino ------- I decide to dig further....................and I see that under the Accredited Casinos List under the RTG platform, my "give it a try" casino is in what is called "Rogueland" I also go on a hunt for other posts about this casino and see that it has a poor reputation. If I am still confused.............perhaps others are also.

Shouldn't all the Rogue and Rogueland labeled casinos be put together under ROGUE Casinos? I consider myself a fairly savvy knowledgeable player who has been around the block many times. But if I am confused after 4+ years, it must be really confusing to the newbies.

FWIW,
Diane

I guess you're talking about a casino from the Curgam Malta group?
They are on the No-Can-Do list - but not in the rogue pit.
I agree it's confusing to say "Rogueland" against a casino which is not in the pit.
They should either be in the Pit, or be labelled "No-Can-Do"

I don't like to criticise, because Bryan runs this huge forum & website single-handed - but some parts of the site ARE out-of-date / incomplete.
Well it's the Meister Meeting this-evening, so I will bring this up with him face-to-face and see if there's something that can be done about it.

KK - you are right, I am not criticizing Bryan - really just making a suggestion because of the confusion I encountered. Please buy Bryan and yourself a beer for me and put it on my tab. Will settle up someday for all I owe you in your great advice through the years.

Thanks,
Diane

Diane: Were you able to raise your bet at Orc VS Elf in one of the casinos in the Curgam Malta group the other day?

@diane -- of course CM is first option, check the sections you check, also use the search feature to search for the name of the casino. After you do that make sure you also do some searches on the web in general. Try different Google searches suxh as " XYZ casino Rogue" "XYZ casino no pay" "XYZ casino complaints" and then look scan through the results. By looking here and doing your search you should be able to yield a good decision to play or not play.

If you recall I made the comment the other day to be careful, because you were asking about another roguish casino. I do understand you say you only make small deposits at these unknowns. Regardless of how small a deposit is, the casino can still use your information (credit card, bank, personal info roguish). Just like when people play rogues with free chips with a no risk attitude, your still releasing sensitive info to attempt your cashout, do you really want a rogue to have that sensitive info.

Obviously being in the US your choices are limited, RTG, 3dice, nuworks and not much else. I would suggest just sticking to the accredited casinos regardless of deposit size so that in the event of a win it will be stress free. Don't let all these rogue's tempt you with their big bonus promotions.

Sincere, helpful advice ---- thank you very much. This is why I love CM. It's the good people and good advice.
