Well this is funny...
I have been going back to playing at Gowild after an absence . I have been playing without bonuses for a few weeks and i thought i'd ask live chat what they could offer me for a £1000 deposit. Just for a bit of fun.
Anyway..hear is there every friendly live chat operator Eva:

Eva: At the moment i can see that you can play with your deposit, however as a token of our appreciation i credit your account with 30 brithish pounds for a deposit of 1000

Apparently i am allowed to play with my deposit!

What is the lowest bonus offer you have ever had? and where?

Live chat probably made an error. It should have been 30% bonus I guess. Normally they quote a % bonus and the max deposit amount eligible.

Hi steffigraff77,

Can you please pm Gia or myself your account number so we can investigate this?
Our first deposit is automated btw but let us get more details once you pm your account number.
Thanks.

why didnt you check that before you deposited? and why would you deposit that large amount on the site that recently got so many issues?

If I were you, I would not hesitated to play at 32red.

Hi Osloking,

Player asked to play without bonuses so please let us check everything first.
I'm sure it will be resolved for the best.

Yes - Gowild had one mistake that they admitted it publicly and resolved it within hours.

I don't think it was a mistake. I asked several times do you really mean 3%?
I only asked for a bonus to extend my play a little and justify to the missus that it is worth the deposit!

Gowild i don't think i am going to bother pursuing this. If you wish you can go through the live chat conversation with Eva and if you want to contact me you can. The moment has really passed i felt like playing last night and thought you would offer me something like 30% particularly as you claim to be very player centred and i have been depositing and playing for the last few weeks ( non bonus play). Its just a bit insulting to offer 3% when i am prepared to deposit £1000. It is better to say we can't add anything this time or something along those lines.

The other thing i don't quite get is that you seem to think that allowing me to play with my money is somehow something i should be grateful for? Eva kept saying but we are allowing you to play with your money ( If you don't want the £30) and there are no terms attached to it! Is that great?
Have i missed something ? How does that make gowild a better casino then its competitors. No casino can stipulate requirements on money that is not theirs.

So to summarise, if you wish to try and entice me back you can try but don't present yourself as a top casino that looks after players when it didn't in my case.

Oh one last thing..drop the hyperbole and overuse of the smiley faces on live chat. I am not 12 years old.

It seems you had deposited and started playing already and I don't know of any casino that lets you get a bonus after you start playing. I'm pretty sure if you had deposited and contacted support before you started playing you would have gotten a much better offer.

Nope, from the op's first post it does seem the request for a bonus was made before the deposit and not after.

And Ihave to say Steffi- DONT play all aces till youve churned your massive bonus the 30 times!(LOL)

3%= I'd ask for it to be removed so I could play what I liked= I'd find that kind of insulting

Haha..Presumably they have got a max bet rule of 10% ..so i can't play all aces! £3 bets max!

Anyway..i have just been reading on old thread about 3600 at gowild. Very interesting. I had no idea!

When to take a bonus in my opinion......

The only time I consider taking a bonus is if my funds are low and I can only afford to make a deposit of $25-50.00 and even then only take it if it is 50% or more. If I can afford to deposit 75.00+ I only take a bonus if 100%+ and playthrough 20% of less.

I would never claim a bonus if I deposited $1000.00, the odds are then totally on the houses side as if playthrough is 20% you would have to wager $20,000.00 and odds of losing deposit increase big-time.

There is a huge difference between MG bonuses and say RTG bonuses. You only have to wager the bonus 30x for it to clear so if you get a 20% bonus on a $1k deposit you only have to wager $6K. Stupid RTG bonuses or those from other software usually attach the bonus playthrough with a deposit. The example above would mean a total playthrough of $24K if it comes with a 20x wr. So, even with smaller % bonuses from MG casinos its normally worth it as you only need to wager the bonus 30x.

I thought MG also required you wager deposit plus bonus.
Are you sure you only have to wager the bonus and not the bonus and deposit at MG, I know you used to have to at mini-vegas group up until the time they banned u.s. players.

Only the bonus must be wagered... :)

I think mini vegas used to say you had to wager your deposit first, then youd get the bonus, then after that the wr was just 30x the bonus amount, if i remember correctly. Thats where the confusion lies.
