Anyone ever heard of...

Yes. It has happened to me before also. There are limits as to the number of transactions at certain sites per month. However, you can request to have your "limit" on transactions raised if you are an established customer with a good track record.

usually it is.....

number of deposits per day or amount of total deposits, never heard of month. So I would agree with other poster and ask for increase in deposit limit.

If it is a card, then most of them have limits. I have "per card" limits on ALL my accounts, although the actual amounts vary widely.

Casino Rewards limit me to £1300 per card per day, and only half this amount in any single transaction.

Jackpot Factory seems to stop accepting card deposits around the £5000 mark (not tested this THAT frequently though:oops:).

When I registered my card at Red Flush, I noticed my limit was over £9K, and this was per TRANSACTION:eek: (I think my CARD would block that!).

With Neteller though, I have not come across any limits. Jackpot Factory used to run scoreboard promotions where you got 1 point for depositing £50 and playing it through once. NO further points were awarded for playing it through MORE than once. Whilst JF persisted in this foolishness, I won around half of these:D
Strategy was simple. Shovel in 10K, 20K even, from Neteller, 1x playthrough and withdraw, and flush. repeat every couple of days:p

The DID learn in the end (after I relented, and pointed out to their VIP manager how it was done), and now these events are based on WAGERING, rather than how much you can "churn" through the casino during the week. Needless to say, I no longer win anywhere NEAR half of them.

Interesting. So it's usually based on each credit card, not a limit for your account as a whole.

Thanks for the answers. I'm actually not asking this question because I'm up against a limit myself... like in other conversations here, I'm trying to figure out the best way to launch this new casino I've been working on. And I'm starting out with a very small float. I'm thinking if I keep the deposits limited at the beginning, it'll help lower the casino's overall exposure for the first few months.

I'm trying to figure out what a good maximum would be. I mean, I'm starting with really low stakes -- 25¢ slots and video poker, 1¢ to $1 roulette. 1¢ to $1 Blackjack. Around there. Maybe a couple of $5 table games mixed in. I was thinking about a monthly $1000 deposit limit or so, maybe just for the first 3 months. No limit on withdrawals, obviously. But that sounds like nothing compared to the numbers you're throwing around...
