Hi,

I wanted to gol playing at CasinoOnNet but after reading some negative
comments on this board I am not so sure anymore.

I am only interested in playing blackjack and won a lot in practice mode
but I dont think winning will be as easy as in practice mode.

Please give your opinions on CasinoOnNet whether its safe to play there and not and if the practice game is the same as the money game(blackjack only).

Thanks a lot in advance

Its funny you should ask this today. I have been gambling online for about 3 months now and I could not play casino-on-net because they do not accept any of my credit cards. I wanted to play at this casino for real because for the past year or so (before I started gambling for real) I would play casino-on-net for fun and win. I would play 2 - 3 days a weeks for about 2 hours.

Just the other day I finally signed up to nettler, which casino-on-net obviously takes. I thought to myself, NOW I can play at the casino I am most familiar with, the casino I have played for fun for over a year.

I strictly play BJ, and I play perfect basic strategy. I have been playing for over 15 years and have been told many times by live dealers that I play correct and they would go on to say how many people do not play correct. Although, I have come across many dealers that do not know basic strategy.

Here are my results
I deposited $500.00 and immediately received a $95.00 bonus.

DEALER WON 63
PUSH 6
PLAYER WON - 32

I did not add how many hard 20s the dealer would get to my 18s and 19s, but it was many.
5 of the 6 pushes were when I had a soft 21
When doubling with an eleven, always a small card.

So, my bottom line is:

The PRACTICE PLAY and the MONEY PLAY are NOT the same, not even close.

I have screen shots of all the pages of hands if anyone wants to see them.

Thanks for your answer.

I too play basic strategy but even in fun play I get the same win/loss figures as you showed.

How much money did you loose?

ALL OF IT

I start out playing $20.00 or $25.00 per hand.

As a rough guess, you are down by about 2.5 standard deviations, which happens with probability about 0.5%. So these results are bad, but not exceptional.

I have been reading this board for a while and see the term standard deviation(s) talked about often. Can you please explain what is meant by this?

Thanks in advance

It measures how far your results are likely to be from the average or expected value. It is not a difficult concept, but it is a bit complicated to explain it without formulae on a message board.

I would recommend an elementary probability or statistics textbook, or have a look at

Your bet size is too large, with such a big bet size you have a better chance to win big BUT you will also suffer a big loose from time to time.
If you are flat betting $25, with odds of 0.5% and playing 101 hands, you ccould either win $650 or loose $700. Have you heard anyone won and accuse the software to be unfair?
With $25 per hand, you should be able to withdraw after 8 hands, yet you kept playing and lost them all. I think you only have yourself to blame.
You chose to live on the edge and you got it. It's your life, your money.

Hi !

I only heard good things about this casino. I even saw they do advertisment on TV, so they have some reputation too lose and I think they cannot act like the bad casinos.

I deposit 1000 got 200 bonus ...and this you got to wager 2 times, which is like nothing... and made 150 profit.

I cannot remember how quickly they paid, but it did not take long.

In my opinion its worth to try.

Ciao
Stefan
