I think we should put the warning regarding Golden Arch Casino also in this forum, so more players actually read it:

"I received a letter from the GoldenArchCasino group inviting me to play with their #1 gaming and casino site on the web. Enclosed with the letter was a sort of credit card, allowing me to have a $300 line of credit which I did not want or need, but that came with the package. In addition, I was required to activate my account which included me giving them my checking account number. I also had to post up a minimum of $25 and they would match it. I posted up $50 and my bankroll was now $100. I was winning a few hundred dollars when I hit a royal flush on video poker, which was a win of $4000 and this was an allowable game to play. Once I hit the RF, I called support and received no answer. Immediately flags flew up in my head. I went to their live chat and spoke with a man named Marco, then we were timed out, and my next online chat was with a man named Aldo. I copied the entire online chat and it took 8 pages since the chat was very lengthy. However, they did admit to seeing my win, assured me that this casino group was honest and I should not worry about getting paid.

I had a bad feeling about this casino especially when I had to give them my checking account information. This was necessary in case I used my credit line and they could just debit my account. Here is the loophole they used as their reason for not paying me....a woman named Yvonne called me, about three or four days later, and said that I inverted the first two numbers of my checking account number. I told her if I did do this, then how is it possible that the original $50 I posted is being debited by your casino as we speak This $50 charge was a pending charge in my checking account and would have cleared that night when the bank did their update.

In any event, they said that according to their T & Cs, if anyone gives a wrong account number they forfeit their winnings. Bryan, what angers me the most is if I had lost $5000 they would have been paid. But the fact that I won $5700, they refuse to pay me. I told them that I wanted to hear the audio tape of me saying 972, as opposed to 792, and they said it was not saved. The man who signed me up and took my information was named Jason. I called him as asked why he was doing this to me and he was very nasty. Bryan, these animals solicited me by using US Postal Service. Since they had every intention of never paying me, win or lose, I was screwed. I do believe this constitutes mail fraud. Additionally, the most I have been able to find out about these scums is that they called me from La Jolla, CA. Their support number on the letter they sent me is 1-888-666-2272. The phone number they called me from is 1-800-224-6223. Other than the people named above, I also spoke with a man named Nick Tell. He was the one who basically told me that I have a better shot at being invited to an African American picnic, than getting paid. Nick also mentioned a bingo site called FunTimeBingo and said that I had played there and was blacklisted since this was their sister site."

the warning is in red at the side of the forum. may have been replaced by hippojo by now, but i remember seeing it at the right hand side in a red box for about a month straight.

James01...

You can complain about this issue at two other places:

The Golden Arch affiliate manager is available on these two forums (and GA is a "certified program" on both sites):

His name is Carlo... and you can e-mail him directly here:

info@goldenarchpartners.com

Perhaps some of the webmasters that promote this casino would be interested in hearing about this issue you're having... ;)

Hope this info helps you.

Good Luck gettimg this resolved.

sure is.

sorry but i don't see how mine and winbig's comments were snide or rubbing salt into wounds.

op copied the rogue notice, citing that more players could read it here. win and i said it's easy for us all to find the rogue bin, and the warning is posted at the side of the main forum.

he never indicated he wanted any help, nor implied that he personally had been shafted.

...

Seems a bit of an overkill. They were listed in the "Rogue Announcements" for several weeks throughout the site.

Also, they have a casino rep here. If you have any problems, you can contact him - cyrus7b

Don't forget, all casino reps are listed here:

Always have been.

Sorry, Casinomeister, I didnt see the Rogue Announcement.

But generally I would recommend to mention all warnings also within this forum, as this is the forum that attracts the most players.

Just an idea

After deposit

Has anyone noticed when you make a deposit on some of these poker sites, Poker Stars, Full Tilt, you win for a while, then all you see are bad beats?

First, this thread is 2 years old....second, what does Golden Arch have to do with Poker? :p

Good call winbig. I've only been here a year, hadn't realized it was old.

I think I will make a suggestion that the date line appears in a different colour if a thread is more than a year old. Mind you, that does not always mean it is without value.

Since it has been bumped, perhaps James could update us if he made any efforts to get his money, successful or otherwise.
