What's up with Silver Vegas?

I just signed up for an account on Silver Vegas, but when I went to the deposit page, it said:
"Banking is temporarily unavailable while we are making some changes"
I emailed them to ask when it would be online again, but they were very vague. It has been like this for almost a week. Anyone know what is going on?

I'd never heard of this casino, so had to check out the website. On the page that gives details about the company, no less than three times do they mention that they are a fully licenced operation. But nowhere does it say where they are licenced, or located...no pertinent information at all that I could see.

Just out of curiousity Studmuffin....where did you find these guys? And why would you even consider playing there, especially given the fact of their banking difficulties and their non-response?

studmuffin,

Either this is some type of inverted shill or your a genuine player. If this is a sincere request, Silver Vegas should be avoided like the plague. Their not licensed nor regulated as stated . If my memory serves me well (3-4 years ago) they had a history of screwed players out of money & affiliates a like.

Also, I can say I've never seen any affiliates promote this casino in the last 3 years or so, so that should give you an idea if they are any good or not.

After more than a month, they still have the same "Banking is temporarily unavailable while we are making some changes." Live support is not functional. They do not respond to emails. I suspect this casino is dead.

This casino does not identify its software supplier (not usually a good sign either) but I have a note in my database that it was/is powered by Gaming Logix which is one of the more obscure providers.

All things considered, this one sounds like a good venue to stay away from - even if the banking starts working again!!!
