why online casino limit the amount of match deposit bonus e.g. why there are not offering 100% up to 10,000 euro - what are the risk from the casino point of view

Be careful with Bonuses!
It is  crucial  that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of any bonus that you accept. Most of the complaints that come through our arbitration service are bonus related; it would be safe to say that there are tens of thousands of players who have never complained because they realized after the fact that they did not understand or had never read the terms. Nothing in a casino is free – so whenever you see “free” being used, there are stipulations. It is important for you to understand that.

Please check out our Bonus Section that lists the offers given by our Accredited Casinos. No deposit bonuses, welcome bonuses (AKA sign up bonuses [SUBs]), exclusive bonuses, reload bonuses, free spin bonuses...all this and more!

Good question... to which I don't know the answer!
With casino's high WR, low bets limits and restricted games I can't see any risk for them.

There are two groups I list on my websites which do not have any limit on the bonus amount - so it can't be something which is easy to "abuse".

I think you should be thinking of the real questions here, like why on earth would one start two threads about the same topic.. :p

There has been unlimited match offers in the past.
One reason they don't offer unlimited match offers is that the casino may believe that they make more money by portioning out their bonuses.
It's all about maximizing profits!

The simple reason being as stated, there are too many bonus abusers that see casino funds as an extra boost to do the casinos over.

This in turn has led to casinos becoming delusional and paranoid with every player. Trust me, if there were no douchebag bonus abusers around we'd all be getting 100% reloads coming out of our ears, as despite their attractive nature they still favour the casinos long-term

Yeah, Caddell do some no-limit 100% offers so they must know the EV- of them!

It's just a simple case of what the casino is willing to cover in terms of liability. A$$power sites will let you have any bonus you want as they won't pay, so that's easily covered. Caddell have quite a high wagering so it's heavily EV- there. Then you must consider the cash-out limit in relation to the bonus, if any. If there is a limit, or indeed a general withdrawal limit at the casino of say 5k per month, a 10k bonus is pretty pointless for both them and the player.

Wagering is very relevant as at 35x B to 45x B you have between a 0.27 and 0.19 chance of cashing it. Now if YOU are the player that manages that and have had a 10k bonus then the casino is buggered, it's a risk they cannot take. They'd rather the 100 quid bonus player had won, hence all of you are limited to that 100.

just because of the abusers?

can abusers be attracted to unlimited with high WR and contribution only in slots as e.g. the casinos should be safe isn't ?
also to use the bonus they need to lose their real money deposit first
that is why i am puzzled

sorry to open to threads I consider those as two different topics

I would suggest the reasons are two-fold...

One relating to the licensing fees they pay to their games providers... These generally make no distinction between 'real' money & bonus money. E.g. Player deposits 100 & gets 100 bonus. Assuming player loses both (real and bonus) balances, site has to pay rev share fees on 200, not just the 100 the player deposited. This is effectively doubling the software fees on every deposit. (Obviously players will have many small wins during their session, so the fees will be much higher than a simple fixed % of any deposit and bonus).

Limit the value of the bonus and you also limit your exposure to software licensing fees.

The other consideration will be directly related to the value of the deposit... The larger the starting balance, the greater the opportunity for a player to hit a big enough win for them to easily surpass wagering requirements.

Hope this helps

bonus lost

thank you very much

if the bonus is fully lost and of course the real money as well then even after the fees for tax, platform, gaming vendor etc. the casino left with a gain.
if the WR is high e.g. 35x, 40x, bet limit is low and contribution only comes from slots then.....?

A casino will be left with a gain, but I'm not so sure it's as high as most people think...

If we use my previous example of 100 deposit (& 100 bonus), then from the 100 they get from you they could be faced with the following costs...

20% goes to software vendor
20% affiliate fees
5% gaming duty & tax
2% for payment processing

Other costs also include staff salaries, hosting, marketing, office space, etc...

Yes slots may have an average RTP >96%, but that doesn't mean sites get to keep 96 for every 100 player loss. In fact it's more likely <25 from that 100.

(Be assured I'm not trying to look for sympathy for gaming sites, just trying to help share understanding of where most of any player losses go).

I think All bonuses will have a playthrough requirement before you can cash out any winnings, so make sure you know what this is and which games are allowed and which are not.
