Anyone got news on Casino Neo Max? They have been down for "maintenance" for about two weeks. They are not answering my calls or email.

Ask the webmaster at bet2gamble.com. He says he knows the owners and advertised them for a few months. The casino is very probably rigged though. I had results with an overall probability of less than 0.00002 when I played several sessions there. A lot of other people were complaining too.

This place has been an evil moneyhole from its very beginning!
I have played there a couple times and dropped my money in record-time playing
    BJ
, there was absolutely no way for me to win anything and they did not even try to hide "it"...

    ...now make your own conclusion.

There have also been some reports about bounced cheques a while back, I do not know how those stories ended up though.

I am glad to see this crap being down now, I hope noone here has been screwed by them as well.

    This is cute:
    777-777-7777 fax: 123 123 1234

I haven't received a response from anyone yet. For a casino to go into a maintenace mode is not unusual. But to not notify players that it would be offline is a bad sign.

Two weeks of downtime is excessive to say the least, and not a good omen.

I thought these guys were supposed to be a well-funded (but publicity-shy) Asian public company???

Goldplay sold the source code of the Neo Max casino software to JASB (a Japanese company) in 1997/98 on condition that it could only be used or modified by JASB and it's subsidiaries. Neo Max at least used to be a subsidiary and the download for the various casinos usually says Neo Max casino (it was also the original name of the license for the Max Skyweb casinos). Even the recent InCashCasino (the same software) was called Neo Max in the installation.

777.com were using the same license and it expired quite a few months ago now (it's a five year license). Although they said they'd renew it, I don't know if they ever did. The could have just been extracting the last use from the old license. 777.com still used the same ecash company as the other max skyweb casinos and bank wires are sent to the same bank account for all of them.

They used to be big spammers too five years ago:

<, This is hardly a new one for me; I received another one with a
<, slightly different URL within the text. Checking shows it to have come
<, through Hotmail from a C&W account. The upstream from
    <, www.casinotreasureisland.com is uu.net.
    <,
<, The registered chappie - Sherwin de Leon - is no longer with the
<, casino company - I spoke to their telephonist in Canada on the phone
<, this evening. Could this be a quick Joe Job from a disgruntled
    <, ex-employee?

Following up on my own post: no this is not a Joe Job.

I just (2030 CET) had the pleasure of speaking to Mr Takaki from this
casino company on the telephone. He advised me that the spam
originated from their marketing department and the e-mail addresses
came from a list that they had purchased specifically for this
    purpose.

Anyone wishing to make comments to Mr Takaki on this very subject
might like to send him a mail takaki@jasb.qc.ca, or contact
abuse-mail@uu.net with the ticket number B-TSI-000127439.

I don't think the company in Canada exists any more because the jasb.qc.ca domain is available.

    I always wondered why
    CM
@ bet2gamble.com recommended and advertised this outfit. It was clear to anyone over the age of 3 that the games were dowright crooked.

My personal results were out by 5 standard deviations. Draw your own conclusions.

I hope they're finally out of business. (Naturally I hope all players are paid before they completely disappear.)

Only 5 standard deviations?? Sounds like a fair deal to me!

They must think that everyone is stupid who plays there and that nobody will notice that its rigged.

Their website is back up. It's now a 'be the dealer' clone/affiliate site. It's not called Neo Max Casino now, just 777.com Casino.
