First View from the hotel on 2nd night. 1st night stayed at the Casino Hotel.

So 1st machine was winning on Exotic Treasures (WMS). Nothing much after that though. Fallsview casino buffet for dinner and it's getting worse every time, Employees were miserable, Not as much selection and the desserts were mangled some of them, I highly suggest you don't flat out pay for it. It use to be the GOAT buffet years ago.

Next day we had to kill time as we were staying at a different hotel (Hilton) so we had breakfast at coco's which is down the street a little and across. Slow service and the food was cold.:( Then drove down to other casino, Casino Niagara. Only hit lil bit here and there ($20-$30 hits) but had some playing time.

Early afternoon so went to see if room was ready at the Hilton. Thought breakfast was included nope! and they would not take off the extra tax so bummed out already. Couple of the elevators sounded scary as shit and seriously thought we were going to get stuck. Long walk to elevators from lobby. Room was big and as you can see great view bit other then that not worth what they were charging and won't be my first choice for hotels.

Went for dinner at Applebee's as usual, Better dinner this time around then last time plus a hot waitress :p.

Back to Fallsview casino where I did pretty good, Hit feature's on pretty much every machine, big $83 free spins on Zeus 3 on .50 cent bet, Go to a colossal reels slot and hit another $86 went to a high of $226, Took it down a bit and cashed the ticket out and ended about even for the day.

Checkout morning went to the Casino food court to the Tim Horton's and the coffee was terrible, What the hell is with all the bad food and service?!

Really wasn't feeling good all trip as well so overall not a great trip and disappointing as it was/is something to look forward too more so since I work at a highly stressful job. (Which I need to find a new one that is less stressful).

I love Embassy Suites. Everything is top notch there. I am surprised to hear that the Hilton wasnt very good. Go 2-3x a year and always enjoy it regardless if I win or lose. I dont do Tim Hortons -- only Starbucks. Too bad it didnt meet your expectations.

You lil rich girl.:p

Ya I will keep a eye out on Embassy suites next time. :)

Wish I were rich. Get some really good deals because I stay there all the time. Usually $109 which includes breakfast, $25 casino voucher and a $30 dinner voucher to the Keg. Never paid more then $129.

I'm a Hilton HHonors diamond member so went along there on a promotion trip, The buffet is alright, Table games are great and dealers are really friendly. If you go down to the food court in Fallsview, they have really amazing Lebanese food at Paramount.

Won about $2000 over my few days there and keep getting emails offering me comp rooms to go back. If you get chatting to the pit bosses and you tip well when they are hanging around the dealers, they can usually slip a comp buffet onto your card if you're nice enough. There is a korean blackjack dealer who was great fun too.

Also, if you're a tourist in Toronto and want a cheap trip down to the falls, lookout for safeway tours and book their fallsview return trip for about $20. You are guided into the casino and your card is monitored for spend but you can also leave and have a look around the area.

ha 1 year later, not Niagara Falls but stayed the night at Casino Rama. They have the new buffet which we tried, it was o.k. but not great, more selection now though but the quality of food was not good. May try again and give it another chance.

It was mostly brutal the on the slots but my usual slots came through. exotic treasures hit a total of 106 free games, nothing big but well over 100x final total. After a lil more play decided to go back to my other lucky machine in zeus 3, hit $240 line hit on a min bet of .40 cents! and then hit the minor progressive for $80 not much longer after that. Some of it went back in as it was BRUTAL after that till the next day where I hit 156 free games on Dean Martin slot, about $100 from that and cashed what I went down to out and we left.

May go back on the weekend but not sure.

Oh man, were you there yesterday! I was too, just a day bus trip.

No luck on the slots, and I was disappointed in the buffet too. But I would return just for the fresh doughnuts, the french crullers were everything a cruller should be. Nice that that the peel and eat shrimp have been replaced with shrimp instead too. But they made such excellent fried chicken, I was sorry it was gone.

We stayed over a few weeks ago, had to pay for a room because no VIP anymore, and the buffet was still under reno. It was an awful disappointment with the buffet in a banquet room, the chafing dishes rarely had a burner that worked, they ran out of everything way to fast. Such lovely rooms and pool, and they are generous enough with food comps, and breakfast in the Weirs never disappoints. Real hollandaise for the eggs benny, mmmm.

When we went in April, my friend won the minor for about $560 on Zeus III, on the two cents near the poker room. Most she has ever won, and she'was about $90 up on the game from bonus rounds already.

It's nearly 4 hours away for me, but remains my favourite land-based casino, even though I have choices much closer to home.

We stopped at the new Shoreline in Belleville on the way home from the trip in April. The buffet, while quite limited, was very good quality, and only $10 on a Monday for dinner with your player's card. The slot floor was small, and very brightly lit and boring colours, no atmosphere whatsoever.
