Hey Guys,

besides my usual casinos in my homeland (Switzerland) in Zurich and Ticino i do trips to the US (Vacation) every year and of course include some casinos as well.

This october i will go back to Nevada,Laughlin to see Toby Keith and gamble a bit.

I will also go to Oklahoma to the Winstar World Casino (for the first time).... Any experiences? Over 8000 slots sounds just unreal for me...

Are there comped beverages? If not how are the prices?

Are there motels nearby? Most of the time for normal tourists like myself the hotels in the casinos charge quite a lot.

Cheers & Thanks,
Hoff

I vacationed in Las Vegas and booked my ticket and hotel together through Expedia. I got a very good deal but that was some years ago. You could check out the travel sites and input the info for several destinations and see if you can get a good deal. Looks like you got a great vacation lined up this year. Hope you have a blast:thumbsup:

I see this is an older post but you do not say you won't be back in 2015
I guess you know by now that a fee is charged for alcohol drinks at Winstar
Everyone should make Winstar a must see as it is amazing to walk thru if nothing else
Email me if you come again and maybe I can give some suggestions or we can meet and talk
we visit okla fairly often just to drive around and play a little
You should have tried the one up at Davis ok up the road decent rates and a nice little casino

i've been there. no comped alcohol, but from the ambience and the selection of different games this casino is larger than life!!!! loved it and definitely will be back!!

land based journey

I was really surprised and did think of you this past Wednesday
We were up just past the Winstar at another casino but a lot smaller
What a surprise when we walked into the convenience store next door and ran into a couple from
Switzerland
A couple in their late 20's with a child . We stood and visited with them for several minutes and really enjoyed talking with them
They were here visiting did not say who
