Just went on a two day cruise from Norway to Germany. Spent some time in the casino and i dont think i need a tinnfoil hat so say that s.... was rigged beyond belife.

Who governs these slots? They had mainly IGT 3 reelers and some older Video Slots. Me,My girlfriend, her sister and her sisters boyfriend all lost a substantial amount without ever hitting a decent win. To be honest my whole time there i dont think i saw anyone win anything over 1000 NOK (120€)

The casino was packed full the whole time i was there, and on the last day, saw alot of disgruntled people there.. Guess they where all pissed after losing for two days straight.

These machines gotta be set at a VERY low RTP % or they are rigged.. I have never ever seen such horrible slots.. Impossible to win anything at all.. Are all landbased casinos like this?? If so im never setting foot in one.. This is by far my worst gambling experience ever. If you think online slots are rigged, go try these machines

What's the name of the cruise ship, and when are they next docking here in the UK? ;)

It's possible that the games are not true Vegas style slots, but the UK "compensated" variety, and your party played at the wrong time (when they were having to make up RTP after paying out a big win).

Yes, thats what i was thinking to, that it had to be compensated, because such horrible returns across all passengers there can not happen if it was random, truly insane!

Yeah the trip was nice ;) Except the casino part... haha

Nearly all land-based casinos in Asia are set at a low RTP. You would be lucky to be able to play at a machine with 85% rtp as most are set at 70% or below. That's why practically nobody(at least in Asia/Macau) play slots bar those just killing time. For seeking thrills they either play Baccarat or paigow tiles.

I do know that a cruise leaving the US wont open the casino until international waters, and it is well known that it is extremely tough to win. I believe because of the international waters they can set that RTP pretty low, and have heard its 70% or below.

Yes, you were playing either UK-style compensated (non-random) games which are commonly sold to other countries too especially Holland and Scandinavia OR random slots on a very low %age setting like 70. If you are used to 95% RTP games online, anything less than 90% you will notice immediately due to the shorter playtime, and if set as low as 70-80% they will be unbelievably vile. The ship has a captive customer base and will also be beholden to no laws when in international waters - this is why you should NEVER play slots on ferries and boats unless you have an 'emptier' handy.....

READ THIS THREAD I STARTED WHICH EXPLAINS HOW CRITICAL EVEN A SMALL DEVIATION FROM THE 95% TRTP YOU ARE USED TO ONLINE WILL AFFECT YOUR GAMEPLAY. PAY ATTENTION TO THE FIRST POST AND THE TABLE, AND THEN IMAGINE THE RTP WAS AS LOW AS <80%!!:

I have played UK style "Fruities" before.. They used to have them at the stores here. And on those you could "force" the jackpot by feeding the machine. But these slots on this ship i bet where just regular random slots set to very poor payout %. From what i saw it has to been in like you said the 70% range, maybe even lower.

You would expect in a casino with around 50-60+ people feeding the machines for 48 hours straight what someone would hit something huge.. I diddent see it, and my girlfriends sister spent almost her entire cruise in the casino and she said she didd not see anyone win anything good.
