Hey guys,

As I was working on my first ever affiliating website I all of a sudden was suspended without any prior notice.
I am doing it via Wordpress.com and paid for hosting and a domain name.

Had about 8 hours of work in it so far and they just took it offline.
Also I was not able to use the chat facility anymore (a premium facility), could only send in a stupid online email me back form.
I bloody paid for a full year upfront!!!!!

I get a notification that my site has been archived or suspended due to violations of their t&c's.
Whatever that might have been remains an answer because I still did not get an answer back to my support ticket I opened.

I had placed several banners from several casino's and wrote a few casino reviews.
Made some sub pages and wrote some content on those.
Was in the process of adding slots tracker & casinomeister into my feeds.

I mean,I have seriously no clue why I got suspended.:confused::confused:

Anyone else bad experiences with the .com version of WP?

At this point they are big f*cking assholes.

Now it remains to be seen if I can get my content back because otherwise it is 8 hours of work down the drain! :eek2:

Not the best way to get introduced in the world of WP.

.

I do not think Wordpress.com allows advertising.

According to their T&C, advertising isn’t permitted unless you use WordAds or have a WordPress.com VIP or Enterprise site.

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

What you might want to do is to use Wordpress.org and host your own site.

I had no problems with the Wordpress.com enterprise - I brought a domain and a years hosting up front last June. Doesn't seem to be anything wrong with promoting gambling on their infrustructure as long as you display the site is for 18+ only.

Have since left Wordpress as I decided to do it alone on a dedicated server as I could use more resources and have more control.

To be clear, separate "Wordpress" the product from "Wordpress" the hosting platform. If you take the product and install it on your own server/domain somwhere you can do what you want (as long as your ISP who hosts it allows it in their T&Cs) but the Wordpress hosting platform has always been very strict and gambling was never allowed if I remember right.

I'd suggest buying a shared hosting account at somewhere like Hostgator (there are lots of companies offer this) who install Wordpress for you. It can be relatively inexpensive but always check their T&C's first to check gambling is allowed. This will also give you more flexibility (assuming you have your own domain name) for doing SEO and stuff.

Ah ok well I was not known with the fact I could not start my affiliating website with the .com version.
Hilarious too as shortly before that I was chatting with one of their reps as I had a query about some HTML coding.
He looked at my site and helped me out. Could he not have told me I was not allowed to make an affiliating website?
He probably got me suspended now I think of it,the friggin' cunt.

I was so happy and felt a bit proud of what I already had achieved. :(:(:(

As I am very newb in this world I have no clue what to do now.
I will cancel my subscription with the WP.com crowd and will see if I can move my domainname somewhere else and use the .org version of WP.

Thanks for your replies guys!

There we go.
As you guys already said!

I will try and move my stuff over.

Cheers.

Your site has been suspended for containing content that we consider to be spam, which we define as content created with the primary purpose of mass solicitation or increasing traffic of third-party sites. Content that falls into these categories includes, but is not limited to, unwanted promotional content, duplicate content, and content written for gaming search engines. This is a violation of our User Guidelines and our Terms of Service. You can learn more at the following links:

Because your domain registration for xxxxxxxxxxx.com was purchased so recently, you cannot yet transfer the domain to another registrar as ICANN places a 60 day hold on new domain registrations:

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

So, there are two options:

1. You can wait until the hold is lifted in 57 days on July 28, 2017 and then follow the steps above to transfer the domain to a new registrar.

2. I can cancel and refund your WordPress.com Personal Plan for $65.88 and remove the domain from your account so that you can try to register again elsewhere. Please keep in mind, however, that it may take some time before the domain becomes publicly available after the cancellation and there's no guarantee that you'll be able to register it again as someone else could purchase it first.

Lastly, if you wish to continue to use WordPress software for your site, you might consider a self-hosted WordPress installation. Please follow the guide located at

to successfully transfer your content to a more suitable WordPress host.

To download your content and take it elsewhere, you can use the export tool in your admin panel for a limited time.

Best,
