I won 3000 dollars with this casino today. This is my first time using a online casino so I called and asked them how I withdrawl my money and the guy says that I will probably need to fax a utility bill and a drivers license?? Anyone have any knowledge or good stories about this casino so I can feel good about getting my money in a reasonable timeframe.

Thanks

This casino gives Microgaming a bad name, as they are one of the slowest paying operations on the net. However, they've never failed to eventually pay someone. It just takes contacting them again and again repeatedly. YOU WILL BE PAID.

My best suggestion is to call them and tell them you've heard of SLOW PAY issues from others, and ask them what is the fast possible method.

Also, if you used a bonus and played craps or roulette at all, it not only doesn't count towards your wagering requirements, but it voids all your other play, INCLUDING YOUR WINNINGS, even if you won your money on the non-excluded games. It does say this in thier terms, so they cannot be accused non-disclosure.

Caveat Emptor -- The burden is on the player to read the terms/conditions again and again until he or she understands them completely.

Thanks Dave... they did say something about using the bonus to play roulette. And something to the effect that its easy to make money playing roulette. I deposited money two weeks ago and received my bonus and played roulette only. I lost my 200 dollars and then today deposited 50 dollars TODAY and won 3000 playing blackjack. Could this be a issue? I can not see how it could be... that would be like saying once you break the terms/conditions please continue to deposit but you will never be able to withdrawl :)

mdspeed,

As Dave stated, Golden Riviera does have a poor reputation, but if they agree you are entitled to a cash out, (a BIG IF) you will eventually get your money.

I'm sure they will take a close look at your play, and if there is a way to claim you violated the T&C, they will most definitely use that as a reason to not pay you.

Such is "life on the internet" when dealing with online casinos.

Keep the board posted as to the results with this.

Good Luck.

To mdspeed: If you played your bonus and the second time you made a deposit and won,you should be eligible to receive all your winnings. You are right about the casinos just want you to keep depositing to hold on to your money. If it's Proc Cyber, you will reall have a hard time. They are crooks, maybe keeping your money to draw interest off it. hang in there, you will get your money later than sooner. By the way, which casino was this?

I will keep you guys posted on this issue. I will be calling Golden Riviera first thing in the morning to see what I can do about getting my money this week :) Then I can post on here what a good online casino they are. For a online casino newbie like myself which casino out there gives the least hassles and does not require every tidbit of information and pays within a week?

Thanks

Slotland.

The customer service is the best of any online
casino I have played at, and I got my check in 6 days.

The games are "strange" to some, but interesting.
They do run "very, very, streaky", but when their hot, you can do quite well.

A good casino for a "change of pace". ;)

If you like Microgaming, your best bet is to deal with the E-Processing family of casinos:
Royal Plaza
Vegas Joker
Old Samurai
Grand Casino Venice
Challenge
MusicHall
King Neptune's
Vegas Country
Floridita Club
Grand Hotel
Vegas Slot

I deal with every single one of these casinos on a constant ongoing basis, and the payouts are VERY fast. If I cashout Sunday night (and fill out the Winngings Refund Request Page on thier websites), I usually get payments in my Paypal or Prepaid ATM account by Wednesday morning. Now that's fast. Also, thier telephone helpdesk (via thier toll free #'s or freefone is the best around, and they are quick to resolve any problems, especially if you ask for a supervisor). They are professional and courteous.

The bad thing about E-Pocessing casinos is that thier email support is lousy. In many instances, during even a weekday, it take 8-12 HOURS to get a response to my query, and sometimes up to 72 hours (or never) to get a bonus credited. I got fed up with thier email support, so I use the phone instead, and thus far, no problems.

Unlike Proc-Cyber, this group doesn't make you jump through hoops to get paid, even on larger amounts.

However, they don't like bonus hunters and if they notice someone who is extracting winnings from some of thier sites on a regular basis, they will lock this player out. I got emails from them telling me to basically take my business elsewhere. I wrote to the supervisor asking if he could unlock my account if I played a certain amount of non-bonus play. After forcing this issue, he disclosed to me the criteria that the system looks for to spot "bonus hunters". (Not all MGS just E-Processing "Hotel California" casinos)
Now I am playing for cover at these sites with exactly the amount of non-bonus player required to stay under the raidar. So far so good.

But make no mistake. They know who I am. And at any moment, if they choose to lock me out, there would be nothing I could do. I think they are being nice to me since they are doing very well financially at the moment, and since I have been willing to compromise.

"When they're hot?????"

Hey Jyde,

Yeah, I have seen this time after time.

You will get a "run" of winning hands or spins.
Then, the game will "go cold". Knowing when to
"switch or quit" is the key to Slotland, IMO.

It seems to me that you rarely have a session
where you "win a few, lose a few". Usually, feast
or Famine.

Thanks Dave... I am really just looking for a nice variety of games with good customer support and fast payouts. I am more of a weekend gambler and I like to play blackjack. Microgaming or whatever kind as long as its fair and when I win there are no questions.
Update on my withdrawl:
So far Mr Racetrack is correct because they have stated that I violated the terms and conditions 2 weeks prior to winning so I forfiet all my current winnings. I am disputing this because its clear that I lost all 200 dollars (100 plus deposit) to make my account 0 and 2 weeks later I deposited a new 50 dollars and won 3000. I hope this is a oversight.

Just one quick addendum to my E-Processing reveiw (above) is that most of thier promo's (NOT ALL) have little or no wagering requirements attached to them. The "Hotel California" rule is simply to have in your account your original deposit and double the bonus before cashing out. A very interesting policy. Also, 3 of the above casinos (Challenge, MuscicHall & King Neptunes) have radically different policies, and do have major wagering requirements, but do not have the "Hotel California" requirement. These 3 use E-Processing for thier finances, but management and ownership are completely different from the other 8 casinos. MusicHall, I believe, is the sister casino to Challenge.

One of the managers at Challenge (Wendy?) once sent me a rather long email explaining that thier casino has been much more profitable with Microgaming then with Bossmedia, but that her boss liked the Boss software better. But players wanted a better selection of games, and MGS is truly the leader at coming out with new games, (and more profitable ones like slots) and Boss was so slow at releasing ANYTHING new. (Boss only had 7 games at the time in the multiplayer version) Also, she said the multiplayer games at Boss casinos were not setup in such a way as to promote player interaction. In fact, in most instances, the casino looked "dead" in the multi-player mode, and certain players thought they were the ONLY ones using the casino.

I agree with the points she made, but I still personally feel the Boss platform is far superior to that of Microgaming, and if the programmers ever get thier act together to improve the multiplayer aspects of the software, they have a good chance of a competing. Also, Boss has implemented its new jackpot servers (but not without a scandal -- they reset jackpots for the games prior to the network progressive being installed. WHERE DID ALL THE MONEY the players worked so hard to build up go??? Such is life in the unregulated world of online gaming.

Most E-Processing casinos EXCLUDE blackjack from most of thier promos. Be very careful to read all terms/conditions! Once again caveat emptor!
Its up to you.

Just recently - at a Neteller promo at Colosseum (add this to the above list of E-Processing casinos as I forgot to list it) it said nothing in the terms/conditions about excluding bj. However, since I noticed most of thier other promos do excluded it, I asked a supervisor and he told me it was OK (ALWAYS get the name of the supervisor your dealing with). In my eternal quest to have even one winnging session againt Microgaming's invincible dealer, I figured I'd try it. My account was locked after cashin. I called the casino, spoke to another supervisor who eventually got around to speaking to this supervisor, who realized made a mistake in what he told me, and they honored the cashin.

MdSpeed - You definately violated the T&C two weeks ago. Why you played without carefully reading these rules boggles my mind, but since you are a newbie, I will forgive you. The big question is after you lost all your money two weeks ago, does this violation void your current play:

mdspeed,

Glad to hear this worked out well for you.

Just drop a quick post here when you actually
get your money, and how long it takes.

Golden Riviera has been well documented to take
an unacceptable amount of time to process payments.
