Exclamation Grand Duke: no pay and questionable practices

We received a player issue regarding Grand Duke recently which reflects the general bad state of this casino's issues being discussed on our forums: player had flat-betted a deposit bonus through to a £7200 win. They requested withdrawal and on the day when payment was expected they were told their account was suspended and the payment denied:
We regret to inform you that after thoroughly going through your game history, we have found pattern play, which is easily associated with several types of BlackJack systems(Paroli and 1-3-26).
Other players have reported similar problems with the casino. When we tried to contact them regarding the player's issue they refused to discuss it:
Unfortunately, we are not able to divulge any customers' account specific information. Rest assured that we are acknowledging this matter with the casino account owner.
The "casino account owner" reported that nothing like "acknowledging this matter" was forthcoming from the casino. We tried to confirm that the casino did not wish to discuss player issues and received no response.

Warning: Grand Duke (grandduke.com) is refusing to pay players on dubious grounds and will not discuss the problem(s) with the player or third-parties. Players are advised to avoid this casino.

Grand Duke is, or soon will be, listed in the Rogue Pit.

The troubles with Grand Duke have persisted, moving this Warning back to the active list.

We've had three cases against Grand Duke come up in the last few months amounting to €12,000+. These cases have dragged on and on -- admittedly this was initially due to my own tardiness -- but the bottom line is that none of them have received satisfactory attention from the casino people: after multiple reminders they come back with "what was this about?" and everything is supposed to reset to zero.

Of particular concern is the nature of the player complaints. Players are being told "we suspect you have sought only to exploit a bonus" or "you violated the Terms and we've confiscated your winnings but we offer to let you wager an additional 20x your withdrawal request" and so forth. These tactics are ad-hoc and unacceptable.

Once again, we must advise players avoid Grand Duke Casino.

To be fair it should be mentioned that one of the Grand Duke cases mentioned above has recently been decided in favour of the casino: see http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/...tml#post455140
