So been getting a ton of spam recently for Sloty which is part of the Genesis Global Limited group.

This spammer is one who has recently had at least 2 affiliate accounts closed due to my complaints about their constant spam.

They cannot show proof of opt in for my email addresses, so I am 100% sure this is spam.

I spoke to live chat about it who refused point blank to help, even though they are responsible for their affiliates

Welcome to a new world of gaming! How can I help you today?

colin 12:21:46 pm

Hi, I'm getting a load of spam from one of your affiliates. I did not opt into their mailing list. Who do I complain to?

Sabrina 12:21:57 pm

I will check that for you straight away, can I kindly confirm your username?

colin 12:22:07 pm

I don't have one

Sabrina 12:23:02 pm

Please reply to this e-mail since the e-mail is not coming from our company. Or maybe there is a link to unsubscribe.

colin 12:23:43 pm

the email address used is fake, and unsubscribe doesn't work. They are an affiliate for you so I would appreciate it if you can sort it please, as you are responsible for them

Sabrina 12:25:08 pm

It is a third party I am very sorry. You have to contact this site.

colin 12:26:27 pm

so you are refusing to help? You are UKGC registered aren't you?

Sabrina 12:30:34 pm

I am very sorry. I cant stop them from contacting you. You have to contact them directly.
We are not responsible for them

colin 12:31:32 pm

the UKGC would disagree, you are responsible for your affiliates marketing activities as shown by recent fines. What is your complaints proceedure

Sabrina 12:32:34 pm

If you want to send a complaint you can send it to complaints@casinocruise.com

colin 12:33:19 pm

ok, I will also be contacting the UKGC and copying this chat to them as evidence you allow spam

Sabrina 12:35:54 pm

Yes I understand however I cant help you any futher. I am very sorry.
Is there anything else that I can help you with today?

colin 12:36:51 pm

no thanks, I will be copying this chat on casino forums to show you are happy to allow illegal activities to get new customers, do you have any objection to that?

Sabrina 12:37:37 pm

Of course you can copy this chat. Unfortunately these offers are from 3rd parties and we are not responsible for them. You have to contact them directly.
I wish you a lovely day and a great weekend.

Not sure how accountable some chat chump is for rogue affiliates but I do agree that it is the responsibility of casino management to keep track of their activities

Obviously the live chat op isn't responsible :) but they should be able to pass it on to someone to do something about it rather than just say they can't do anything. She did also, earlier in the chat, say she would check, so presumably its a management decision not to do anything if she checked with a supervisor. For some reason that part of the chat seems to have been chopped off, will re-do it :)

spamming me aswell and i was allready signed up to all 3 sites.. closed my accounts now though. after being made to run through hoops to get verified on spinit

Is it the spammer who's email address is faked as starburst.com or promotions.com, they seem to be the most regular ones they use ?

Ah well, nice to know the complaints department also share live chat's view - nothing to do with us

My email to them

Hi

I am getting a load of spam from one of your affiliates. Live chat tell me
you refuse to do anything about this, can you explain why that is?

Recent fines handed out by the ASA clearly show you are responsible for your
affiliates marketing. I am going to complain to both the ASA (as there are
no terms and conditions in the email) and the UKGC as you are allowing your
affiliates to spam consumers, but would be interested in hearing from you
why you are happy to allow spammers to promote you?

To be clear, this is spam, they have already had affiliate accounts closed
by decent casinos for spamming, I have not opted in to their spam mailing
list, and unsubscribe results in more mail and clearly doesn't work.

Their reply

Hello Colin,

Thank you for writing to us.

We are not responsible to third party adverts. If you wish to make a complaint with the authorities regarding the affiliate you have the right to do so.

As casino cruise are accredited on here I've sent the link to Bryan too as they are clearly breaking the rules for that too

Must not spam, and must take appropriate actions against any affiliates or any third parties who spam or produce deceptive and/or deliberately false or misleading advertising.

Hi colinsunderland,

Thank you for bringing this to my attention and I apologise for the inconvenience, that this hasn't been resolved for you yet.

The best way to deal with this is if you PM me a screenshot of one of the emails received, including your email address and I can then forward this to the affiliate department. They can then contact the relevant affiliate and ask to remove you from the mailing list.

I am sorry that the agents you raised this issue with did not resolve the issue for you. This will be forwarded to management who will ensure the correct training is given for future.

Looking forward to receiving your message and please let me know if there is anything else that I can help with.

Many thanks!

Great that you bring it up again!

I reported them in February last year. They had the same policy back then.
I started a thread and I reported them to Bryan but nothing happened...as far as I know at least.

This casino is getting away with too much as it is. I wouldn't recommend them to my enemy.

I hadn't seen that thread but to me it clearly shows the casino are happy to get customers via illegal means.

I have spoken to the rep by pm and his first response was that he will get me removed. That's no good, the affiliate in question is a serial spammer, they need their accounts closing, full stop. He now says the affiliate department will look at it and take any action thats needed.

They are fully aware my email address has been instrumental in closing at least 2 of their affiliate accounts so far, yet I am still on their mailing list, not the brightest tool in the box are they!

Exactly! Normal accredited casinos doesn't ask for our information. They ask if we can pass on the email so they can punish the affiliate.

I got sms from an affiliate of Casino Hero ones and asked there support where it came from. They also wanted my number and promised to tell the affiliate to stop. No way I'm giving them my phone number, just as I don't give a casino as C Cruise my email address.

Hi,

Why can every accredited casino stop spamming you when you are SE, but this group not???

I can’t get rid of their enormous spam either, from june -aug, it got me in severe trouble being seduced again in August, while permanently closed accounts on this group, I thought, cause begged them to do this, they reopen in a sec no questions asked, and had the worst day ever in my life at this casino. So painfull, this case still is not solved.

In september, november, december they spammed again. I mailed them to stop, since I was permanently SE, they respondend with apologies etc see doc and then again on november 29th I got from themselves again 3 mails not from affiliates, some strange testmail, and mailed them again, but no respons whatsoever from them!!! Sent 3 e-mails to them, and in december again spam from sloty affiliate. I mailed MGA in december about the spam cause had it with this. Hope they do something with it.
