Asked Live Chat on Ladbrokes about withdrawal flushing or locking out of reversing withdrawals (I hate that functionality but understand casinos profit from it being there)

Enjoy the excruciatingly slow chat answers in case anyone wishes to know.

(7 min wait)
Sonia: Hi there, this is Sonia your Customer Care Specialist. How can I help?
ben: Hi Sonia, I've got a withdrawal in progress, i was wondering how long it takes usually and if you need any documents
Sonia: Let me check that for you. Please give me a few minutes to review your account.
ben: thanks!
Sonia: While waiting, I just want to let you know that we currently have a HUGE jackpot for our slots games where you have a chance to win more than £4+ Million in the game Jackpot Giant. It is worth giving a shot, who knows, you may be our next lucky winner!
(5 min wait)
Sonia: Sorry for the long wait.
ben: no problem
Sonia: As I check your account here, you did request for a withdrawal ***redacted***
Sonia: Please be advised that all withdrawals will undergo a review by our Relevant Department within 24-48 hours but sometimes it may take longer than the usual time frame due to the said review. Once it got approved on our end, it will be credited back to your bank account within 3-5 business days from the date of approval.
ben: is there a way to flush them so they're not stuck in pending for me to reverse?
(4 min wait)
Sonia: What do you mean?
ben: So, on other casinos, live chat can block the transaction from being reversed in pending withdrawals
(5 min wait)
Sonia: You mean to fasten the approval of the Withdrawal? Is it?
ben: Not always, it's just to stop people from reversing the withdrawal and spending it
(4 min wait)
Sonia: No once the withdrawal request is pending, no one can spend that.
ben: it's saying i can reverse it now
ben: you go to the cashier, click pending withdrawal and cancel and the money is back in your balance
(3 min wait)
Sonia: If you will reverse it the withdrawal request will be cancelled.
ben: yes, i don't want that functionality
ben: other casinos allow you to contact live chat to turn that off
(6 min wait!)
Sonia: Please be advised that, those buttons are system generated and we do not have an option to remove that.
ben: I see, okay, thanks for your help anyway
Sonia: Is there anything else I can assist you with?
ben: that's all thanks
Sonia: Thank you for contacting us ! If you need assistance we will be happy to assist. Best of Luck .

:lolup::lolup:

Imagine, 15 years ago, when I used to play there and they were MG only, I could make a cashout and have 2000 in my hand in a few hrs.
Not to mention the freebies and the NDB with 1x wagering....

And now I am one of those "old" people moaning how things were better in the past

what happened to Ladbrokes?

was once one of the best casinos around who looked after their players like no other.

When I worked at Ladbrokes ( My start day was the day they launched their online casino ) from 2000 - 2005, the customer service team was top notch. EWallet payments were super quick and the customer was treated as they were the King or Queen.

What has happened over the past few years started when they decided to open up their office in Tel Aviv for the Affiliate Program. First they started screwing affiliates with Score and the US based Affiliates were cut out of the loop.

The final nail in the coffin was the switch to Playtech from MGS. Now the Israeli Online Casino mentality is all encompassing at Ladbrokes. As you have demonstrated with that live chat above.

They might be a blue chip UK Company with a major high street presence. But their online offerings seriously suck. At the end of the day you are just a number and are treated as such. When you finally get your withdrawal I would close your account there and say ADIOS Laddies.

There are far more superior casinos available that will treat you as a customer should be treated. Just check the accredited casino section here on CM.

I agree there are better options! I was just hunting for some free spins deals and they had some. Didn't spend more than £20 with them haha

Hate them with a passion BUT why not go to your local ladbrokes with your bank card and withdraw it in cash.

ladbrokes used to be good back in the 90s and early 00s i think theyve just suffered from the influx of internet and other bookies and online casinos.

If you are in the UK, you can collect your balance immediately from your local Ladbrokes betting shop.

Admittedly, in my case it took a while to get the preliminaries ironed out, hanging on the phone in the LBO to security at head office, and a weeks worth of emailing back and forth to customer support, while they try to figure out what it is you are trying convey etc., but it worked eventually.

Dead handy really, being able to deposit and withdraw in cash, over the counter.

In that respect, I can't fault Paddy Power, with their PPlus cash card; it's as dependable as a credit card for withdrawing cash from your account at the ATM, with no BS whatsoever. Big up to Paddy!

Ahhh, Ladbrokes

Home of my biggest ever win back in the Microgaming days. Within minutes of winning, VIP manager called informing me I could collect £5k cash a day from my nearest Ladbrokes shop.

Not played here since they ditched their valued players onto the overseas call centre along with any perks.
