<div class="bbWrapper">I am mainly a sports bettor, but I do occasionally play slots in the games / casino section of sports-books I have accounts at. <br /> <br /> On 20/01/17 I opened an account at William Hill and placed a few sports bets. On Monday I received a text message to my phone:<br /> <a href="https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/attachments/img_20170127_173135-jpg.75186/" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/data/attachments/41/41528-dccb5b6b28a3970bacabb981f9a93c30.jpg" class="bbImage " style="" alt="IMG_20170127_173135.jpg" title="IMG_20170127_173135.jpg" width="57" height="100" loading="lazy" /></a><br /> <br /> This was for a no deposit games promotion - £10 free and 10 free spins, credited as 2 x £5 bonuses and 10 free spins (£5 on Monday, £5 Tuesday &amp; free spins on Wednesday). As this was free I thought I might as well use it. i did use the bonuses failed to complete the wagering and bust out.<br /> <br /> 2 days later (today) I receive this email:<br /> <br /> <a href="https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/attachments/screen-shot-2017-01-27-at-18-30-13-png.75187/" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/data/attachments/41/41529-d59f0395e0ff7da292896fa58345c83f.jpg" class="bbImage " style="" alt="Screen Shot 2017-01-27 at 18.30.13.png" title="Screen Shot 2017-01-27 at 18.30.13.png" width="100" height="39" loading="lazy" /></a><br /> <br /> Now, I&#039;m really not that bothered about not having casino / games / Vegas bonuses as I rarely use them now anyway. How can they decide that I was &quot;abusing bonuses&quot; after accepting a very poor free bonus during the 1st week of having an account?!?!?!<br /> <br /> Surely William Hill&#039;s support staff have been smoking something</div>

<div class="bbWrapper"><b>In Conclusion - Yes they must be smoking crack</b><br /> <br /> I&#039;ve just checked my email after starting this thread and found this....<br /> <br /> <a href="https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/attachments/screen-shot-2017-01-27-at-18-44-02-jpg.75188/" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/data/attachments/41/41530-3edf76638a43614ddd41b28f52693050.jpg" class="bbImage " style="" alt="Screen Shot 2017-01-27 at 18.44.02.jpg" title="Screen Shot 2017-01-27 at 18.44.02.jpg" width="100" height="55" loading="lazy" /></a><br /> <br /> <br /> <img src="/forums/styles/default/casinomeister/smilies/lolup.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt="" title="LOL up " data-shortname="" /><img src="/forums/styles/default/casinomeister/smilies/lolup.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt="" title="LOL up " data-shortname="" /><img src="/forums/styles/default/casinomeister/smilies/lolup.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt="" title="LOL up " data-shortname="" /><br /> <br /> Accused of abusing bonuses - get offered bonuses!</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Left hand / right hand springs to mind on this one <img src="/forums/styles/default/casinomeister/smilies/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt="" title="Roll Eyes " data-shortname="" /></div>

<div class="bbWrapper">To accuse them of smoking crack is a bit rude and disrespectful to be honest.<br /> <br /> Everyone knows crystal meth / bath salts is more their thing <img src="/forums/styles/default/casinomeister/smilies/eek.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt="" title="Eek!" data-shortname="" /><img src="/forums/styles/default/casinomeister/smilies/eek.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt="" title="Eek!" data-shortname="" /></div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Thanks for that information OP.<br /> Imo it sounds like WH have been so utterly taken advantage of by bonus hunters that they have become really sensitive. <img src="/forums/styles/default/casinomeister/smilies/thumbsup.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt="" title="Thumbsup " data-shortname="" /><br /> And now, even the slightest indication of it sets off their alarm bells. They have become paranoid.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">That&#039;s strange, i was a regular on WH, best place in my opinion, best promos, best CS and so on. I used to play some serious cash there and never experienced any issue and i actually always received tonnes of offers from them. Super fast cashouts (only PokerStars is faster), super friendly support (my account is currently suspended as they quit to operate on the market where i live, i was able to deposit after they retired from the market, i contacted them, they suspended and aksed to come back if i will move somewhere where they operate and that is very likely as i work as an IT contractor and move quite a lot around europe).</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I must be honest I&#039;ve always felt more secure playing at the huge operators such as will hill,Sky,ladbrokes etc..not once had a issue with kyc (never been asked once) and had some 4 figure cashouts reguarly paid out within days. <br /> Been allowed to place large 4 figure sports wagers regular to with no problems, you can even go to the shops and withdraw your cash, I&#039;m seriously starting to contemplate just sticking to the big guns, less hassle and seems less trying just to steal your cash with silly terms.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">888 paints itself as a big player and still makes it hard to withdraw if the figure is 4 digits. I am going through this now and it is nothing pleasant.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper"><blockquote data-attributes="" data-quote="elkoxon" data-source="post: 828224" class="bbCodeBlock bbCodeBlock--expandable bbCodeBlock--quote js-expandWatch"> <div class="bbCodeBlock-title"> <a href="/forums/goto/post?id=828224" class="bbCodeBlock-sourceJump" rel="nofollow" data-xf-click="attribution" data-content-selector="#post-828224">elkoxon said:</a> </div> <div class="bbCodeBlock-content"> <div class="bbCodeBlock-expandContent js-expandContent "> 888 paints itself as a big player and still makes it hard to withdraw if the figure is 4 digits. <div class="bbWrapper">They love to hide behind the new AML regulations in order to ask the most absurd requests however i went to a lawyer, expert in the EU law for an opinion about this and seems they are using the lack of legal knowledge of the players to their favour. The AML regulation obbliges the operator to verify the identity of a player with the help of third parties, however asking a player to provide notarized documents is using the player to get the job done not a third party, additionaly it transfers the costs of this to the player while the requirement is clearly towards the operators. It is their job, not players. He is now helping me to draft and interpelation directly at the source, i will send the interpelation directly to the EU legislative body to get this confirmed and fully cleared.</div>

Instead, they are still going to offer you sports betting bonuses. That is what they then did with the other offer.<br /> I don&#039;t think they were saying you were a bonus abuser, but that they reviewed your account and you don&#039;t play casino enough to keep offering you those kinds of incentives.</div>

I couldn&#039;t be arsed to do all of that if that is their attitude towards the matter.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">For me it is not a matter of money (the lawyer is my good old friend from school so he is doing this free of charge) but a matter of principles. If everyione will just say, ok fu** that and fu** them they will keep doing this and get away with it so if this will change the situation even for 3-4 players in the future i think it is worth it.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">They messed with the wrong guy <img src="/forums/styles/default/casinomeister/smilies/grin.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":D" title="Big Grin :D" data-shortname=":D" /></div>

I signed up to place a bet on a specific event and the next day I received a message about the free casino credit bonus as previously mentioned. not sure if this was a new account offer or not, but for them to decide less than 1 week into account and after using a free bonus is somewhat retarded - this was the only bonus offered in the casino to me BTW<br /> <br /> Considering no profit was made from the bonus and Low stakes were used I can&#039;t see how that is not using the bonus as intended as they stated.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">using the bonus as intended means they want you to make a deposit into your casino account <img src="/forums/styles/default/casinomeister/smilies/smile.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":)" title="Smile :)" data-shortname=":)" /> That was their intended purpose</div>
