Before I describe wath happened to me at 10Bet, I admit I am one of the suckers who didn’t read the general rules of the casino. This is not me trying to get back my winnings, but a warning to all to stay clear of this casino, with the current impossible and unfair rules. I have contacted the representative of the casino here, but she decided to hide behind the rules as well, no hard feelings, she is doing her job.

After depositing several times (with several bonuses ) I finally was “lucky” to hit a price of 12.000 euro on the game Break da Bank (playing 5 lines at 5 euro each the highest price of 2400 was rewarded for 3 Break da Bank symbols).

Having read the rules of the bonus I knew I had to wager my deposit inclusive bonus times 35 to roll over the bonus. In my case 35 x (300 + 225) = 18.375 euro. After winning such a price I played some other games (with higher stakes up till 100 euro), so after a playing for a while my balanced dropped and I decided to cash 10.000 euro (the rollover amount had been reached also).

But failing to read the general rules, I wasn't aware of the 5% rule (or 6.25 units) per single bet, which eventually lead to the decision to remove my complete balance of 10.800 euro. I am accused of bonus manipulation. As a token of generosity I received my 300 deposit back into my account.
With other words: I should have wagered the lowest amount possible on Break da Bank (5 euro) for 3.675 times to roll over my bonus, thinking about that my mouse-arm hurts already ;)
The main complaints I have about 10 Bet:
- The 5% rule per single bet isn’t present in the Terms and Conditions of the Bonus , but hidden in the general rules. In my opinion this is the most important rule of the bonus, so why not mention in the Terms and Conditions ?
- Should a player be allowed to bet over 5% of his deposit when a bonus is pending ? This is only in favour of the casino. Player losing: Casino wins. Player winning: breach of rules.
- I always thought a bonus should be a reward. A bonus under these conditions is more like a burden.
- Being accused of “bonus manipulation” for over wagering like I am some sort of criminal, without being able to say something in my defense. I never heard of such a rule before !! Only after reading topics on Casinomeister I know now many people have fallen into this trap.

During all of my deposits I “breached” this 5% rule so if the Casino is consequent they return all of my deposits. As a token of generosity !
Again, I know I was wrong not reading the general casino rules, but after reading the bonus rules I never thought I did anything wrong.

It hurts to win so much then find out the withdrawal has been cancelled and deposit returned.

But to be fair to 10bet you can hardly warn people not to play there because of their bonus rules. All I can say is the casino acted within its rights and returned your deposit.

Might seem harsh but just about every casino you can imagine has the same Max Bet rules on their bonuses. Not sure if you are new to gambling or just never read terms but if you go through the terms in all the accredited casinos here they all have a similar Max Bet on all their bonuses.

I am afraid you just need to take it as a lesson learned and always read all the terms before playing especially if using bonuses.

But in this case the casino simply did what every other casino would have done in same situation and returned your deposit and cancelled your winnings. I am just very surprised this has not happened to you many times before if you regularly gamble in the same way online.

I still think the rules are resulting in robbing honest people of their money and not for the purpose the rules are created for.

All casino's have a 35 times rollover and as low as 5% (or 6.25 units) max bet requirement ?

Maybe I better say: dont use the bonus at 10bet in stead of don't play at them at all.

I have played at another casino where I cashed out, but didn't encounter this problem.

From what I understand from your post is that this bonus related rule was NOT in the bonus T&C's, but buried somewhere in the hard to understand lawyerlanguage from the general terms.

I havent checked, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I find it extremely lame when casinos do this.
All bonus related terms should be found under the bonus terms, simple as that.

Wading through XX pages of general terms gives most people (especially not native English) a headache, and its not nice playing with a headache.

They are still in their right, but lame, thats what it is.

... I was wrong not reading the general casino rules...

You can pretty much stop right there. It is every player's responsibility to read and respect the Terms & Conditions. Players that don't are usually in for a rude shock down the road, as you've discovered.

- Should a player be allowed to bet over 5% of his deposit when a bonus is pending ? This is only in favour of the casino. Player losing: Casino wins. Player winning: breach of rules.

Casino can't limit maximum bet for each player by their own, because games are controlled by software provider.

That is also a very lame excuse. Any software provider could easily cap the max bet while a bonus is in play if they really wanted to.

Bottom line is, at the moment the ONLY way to protect yourself is to read those bloody T&Cs (including the Bonus section of the General T&Cs).
It is a real pain wading through all that crap (which I've done 1,000's of times while gathering data for my websites), but it's much less painful than thinking you've actually won something for a change, only to lose your winning due to an accidental over-bet :(

I finally was “lucky” to hit a price of 12.000
Instead of using a full stop you should be using commas.
And instead of saying "price" he should be saying "prize".

I think we all know what he means and that English is not his first language - let's be gentle on the foreigners!

Thank you for sharing CJN and I feel sorry for you, bummer, waardeloos:mad:

I always check the max bet size and if I cannot find it ask support about it. 5% is IMO way too low in combination with the 35x WR. This will definitely put off players and especially high rollers who want to play with a bonus.

Just curious to know -

Does the confiscated money go back into the game where the win was made, or...?

Money can only go back to a game if it is a jackpot, a game doesn't have a pot of money that it pays out from, any winnings are just paid by the Casino.

If you want to play the way you do with bonus I can only recommend "Sunmaker" and "Sunnyplayer" to you, they seem to be one of the few that have no max. bet and no game restrictions on their bonuses, however they carry a 40x wagering. I still urge you to read their T&Cs as they might have changed from the last time I played there or atleast ask support for bonus rules.

Sorry about your bad experience, but its true, most bonuses are a burden nowadays and its better to play without one most of the time. Best of luck in the future!
