Hi Bryan and fellow gamers,

What a great site!!! Thanks for all your knowledge. :)

Now for my questions...if you do not accept a bonus from a site, can they actually set a limit to how much you have to play before you can cash out?

Also, I had read in a post that Video Poker, Roulette, Baccarat and Craps don't count toward meeting wagering requirements. Is this just in regards to accepting bonuses? These are the games I play.

And finally, what is the best way of declining a bonus...do you have to call them before beginning play?

Thanks in advance for your help!

All the best,
Paul :)

I don't believe any casino does this. At least I haven't heard of this happening. I rarely take bonuses, and I know that I've cashed out after one spin at Thunderstruck. I deposited $100 (32Red) and on the first spin (I bet $9 in a whim) I got the free 15 spins right then and there. This turned into a $600+ win, so I cashed out. No prob.

These are in regards to bonuses.

For most Microgaming casinos, you have to physically accept the bonus - copying and pasting the bonus code and submitting it to their websites. This is always covered in their bonus instructions. Playtech casinos normally add bonuses automatically, but their live help can take these out at your request. You can even have your account "bonus blocked" so that it won't happen unless you want it to.

And when in doubt, just ask - and don't freak out if you make a mistake. Just a little over a week ago, I received a $10 bonus at Magic Box (Playtech) woo-hoo I thought! 10 bucks! I had zero in my account, so this will last about 3 seconds!

I play mostly multihand Aces and Faces, and after a few hands I got it up to $20, threw caution to the wind and made a $20 bet and drew 3 Aces - held them - and was dealt a fourth Ace on on of the hands - $400! Wow, so I played a bit more and had some real ups and downs, but after about 10 minutes of play I was up to about $700.

And then I thought, maybe I should read the T&Cs on the email that announced the $10 bonus. Sure enough....it stated multi-hand VP was excluded. DAMN! I'm so stooopid! I thought, the Casinomeister failed to read the T&Cs!!!

So I contacted their support in a coherant and non-threatening manner and told them what I did, and if anything could be done. They told me that they would remove the bonus and that I was required to wager X amount at other games besides video poker. So I did. I played Captains Treasure whatever slots for awhile...and that was it. I withdrew $400, and I had $87 remaining. I went back to Aces and Faces and eventually turned this into $200 and withdrew that as well.

So all in all, a really good experience. And I did this through Got2bet's
