Ex-Accredited Casinos

These are the casinos that either lost their Casinomeister accreditation for not meeting or abiding by our standards, or they failed their Baptism By Fire. I have “reservations” about these casinos – thus they are listed here…in the Reservation.

No Longer Casinomeister Accredited

Casino Reasons
10Bet 10Bet lacked dedication to the site. They weren’t moved at all to being listed as an Accredited Casino, and were rather poorly run. They were consistently scored in the 6 range (a grade of D), and had issues about maintaining a forum presence.

They originally came on board in April 2012, and during the time they were listed here they generated six formal complaints (PABs), and unfortunately there were a far number of dissatisfied customers in the forum as well. With their low score, problematic management, and lack of interest in being listed as an Accredited Casino – they were deemed “not a good match” with Casinomeister and were dropped from the list in December 2016.

3Dice Award winning 3Dice was a gem when they first came on in 2008 – they won more than their shares of CM awards to include Best Casino, Best Customer Service, Best Games, and Best Casino Manager. They were amazing.

But they fell along the wayside from about 2014 on. Possibly from the inability to be able to compete with the other European facing casinos which had more robust software, and the fact that the US market is pretty much non-existent. Which is a shame because they are pretty good. They were removed from the Accredited section in February 2016 due to repetitive payment issues.

365Bet Bet365 was accredited from December 2007 until August 2016. The reason they were removed from the Accredited Casino section was because they decided that they did not want to participate with our PAB service keep a presence in the forum. This disqualified them from accreditation. I would recommend them to the casual or recreational gambler – they are a solid company with several gaming platforms (sports, poker, bingo, etc.). You can read Bet365’s Review here.Betfred
Betfred BetFred was listed in the Accredited section from September 2007 until April 2015. They are a fairly good casino with only a sporadic amount of complaints. They have had their share of headaches with some bad managerial calls, but all in all a good casino. They had a rating of 8.7 points when they were removed. They were removed from the site because they showed no interest on monitoring our forum and engaging with its membership: a requirement for Accredited Casinos.

They also feel that they have no need for Casinomeister or any of the services that we offer. Which is a shame really. It just goes to show how out of touch they are with the realm of the player – it’s all about player acquisition, nothing else. You can read Betfred’s Casinomeister Review here

BetVictor Previously known as “Victor Chandler Casino”, BetVictor was listed in our Accredited Section from 2004 until some years later when their casino rep fell off the face of the earth and no one took his place. Subsequently they were removed and they have not shown an interest to have any presence here. Their loss – not mine. They get relatively good reviews in our forum. If they wanted to come back on board, I don’t see any issues that would keep them from doing so.BetWay
Betway Betway was listed here for six years – from 2010 – 2016, and it was unfortunate that they decided to give us a “speak to the hand” gesture when it came to player complaints. Still an OK casino, they could use some better management training. I’ll gladly volunteer to square them away. You can read Betway’s full review here to include payouts and other pertinent information.
Boylesports Boylesports was listed in the accredited section in September 2009 until November 2015. They simply lost interest in being listed here and their i-Gaming rep went AWOL. They had a CM rating score of 9.1 when they were removed, so they can’t be all that bad.Bwin
Bwin Bwin was listed in the accredited section back when they were small time – Triple-A-Casino and Betandwin. But once their heads got too big to fit through the door, they stopped participating in the forum, they started enforcing retroactive terms on their affiliates, and consequently they were dropped from the site. Bummer for them.
Casino Club Casino Club was once an Accredited Casino, but due to a couple of player issues in 2009 and miscommunications between them, the members, and me, they were removed from the site. Casino Club’s affiliate program also initiated changes in their terms and conditions (specifically quotas) which they applied retroactively – that’s another reason why they were dropped. They have had a low profile since then, but they have never shown any interest about coming back on board.
Club World Group One of the most difficult things I have ever had to do was to remove this previously fantastic group from Casinomeister’s Accredited list. Due to unforseen circumstances, the primary operator and decision maker left the company in December 2016. He was one of the best operators in the business – hands down. He was fair, lead by example, professional, and he could always be counted on to do the right thing. We worked together for years – and I would stake my reputation on his decisions and actions. Both players and affiliates knew that they were in trustworthy hands with him – that they would always be paid, and could always rely on him.

In 2016, Kahnawake stopped licensing casinos that are US facing, so they are stuck with a Curacao license (master license #365/JAZ). This compounded with the absence of the primary operator caused us to place these casinos into the Reservation. I cannot predict what players or affiliates can expect. Perhaps they will continue to provide an excellent service, I certainly hope so. But time will tell – in the meantime they are listed in the Reservation:

Gala Casino Gala Casino was listed here off and on in the Accredited section from August 2012 until October 2015. In the beginning, all was well. They had a motivated marketing team who was pretty much on the ball. But after a year or so, things began to get pear shaped: they had a hard time committing to Casinomeister – specifically keeping a rep on the site who could properly monitor the forum. It came to a crisis when an advantage player was denied his winnings due to the fact the he played the wrong games. One thing led to another and the casino found itself in the rogue pit – but for only a brief time.

I believe that most players will never have an issue with Gala Casino – which is a generally good casino. But advantage players should avoid playing there at all costs.

JackpotJoy Jackpot joy was listed on the site as an accredited casino for about a year. But then their casino rep fell off the face of the earth never to be heard of again. They seldom have complaints, and are geared towards the slot/bingo/scratchcard player. They actually have some pretty good games.
LadBrokers These Ladbrokes guys were in and out of the Accredited section; they had their accredited status revoked for being unresponsive to a number of player complaints. The problem with this casino is that it’s a bloated massive organization. They do not value player feedback and made it clear that the Accredited section has no value for them. I would not recommend Ladbrokes to anyone . They used to be an outstanding Microgaming casino – but this is no longer true. It’s all about player acquisition.
Littewoods Littlewoods tried BBF but failed miserably due to being totally unresponsive. BBF failed August 2012. This event was the catalyst to add a term in our accredited standards – that the casino rep will be someone directly connected to the casino management – not some doofus marketing manager.
Main Street Group The Main Street Group was listed in our Accredited section for a number of years until the US market bottomed out. These RTG powered casinos and have been under the same owner/operator for over a decade. Anyway, their payments for winnings slowed down which prompted a number of complaints concerning their inability to process cashouts expediently – thus they were removed from the Accredited section.

Nevertheless, their treatment towards players has always been in sync with Casinomeister’s philosophy statement.

They tried to come back via the Baptism by Fire section in the Spring of 2013, but their bonus terms are a bit unfair (IMO) for non-US/non-Canadian players, so I feel it’s best to list them in the Reservation section.

US and Canadian players may find them amicable – everybody else should just avoid their bonuses.

Paddy Power Paddy Power is in essence a pretty good casino, but they seem to be a bit aloof. They were accredited in June 2008 – lost their Casinomeister accreditation in March of 2014 for their in-poor-taste Pistoius ad (win money if he walks ad), and were reinstated after the trial was over.

Their affiliate program may get rave reviews from a number of affiliates, their presence in the forum is nil. One thing that sets the accredited casinos apart from the run-of-the-mill casinos is that they have casino reps who can interact with our members. Paddy Power Casino chooses not to do this – even though it is a requirement for the accredited casinos to have an active rep. They are pretty much just another huge corporate brand that is detached from the player community.

Palace Group Spin Palace, Ruby Fortune Casino, Mummys Gold, and Caberet Club Casino were listed here pretty much since the beginning. Spin Palace was listed here as an Accredited Casino in 2002, and as the rest were launched, each came on board as well. Spin Palace was the recipient of Best New Casino 2002, and Wagershare won Best Affiliate program for 2003, and 2004.

After a decade, things have changed. They have lost interest in dealing with players in our forum, and are relatively unresponsive to webmaster issues. They were removed from the Accredited section and placed in the Reservations – I made the announcement here in the 18 June 2014 newsletter which details why this was done – and questions why a casino group would toss away a 12 year business relationship.

Quasar Gaming Quasar Gaming was an Accredited Casino from October 2013 until January 2017. They lost interest in the site and let their forum account go dormant. The casino is ok, but there have been a number of complaints in our forum concerning sloppy customer service. They had 8.3 rating when they were booted from the site. For further reading: Quasar Gaming Casino Review
MoneyGaming MoneyGaming used to be listed in the Accredited Section, but their casino reps lost interest or moved on – in other words went AWOL, so they were dropped from the site. It’s an ok casino which at its peak had 7.7 Meister Points on our Meister Rating scale.
MyBet Mybet was listed in the Accredited Section for only a couple of months before falling off of the radar screen. The Gaming rep was nowhere to be found when a couple of problems arose, thus they were removed. Mybet hosts a number of really great software platforms (Amaya, Greentube, GTS, HoGaming, NetEnt, NextGen, Novomatic Holdings, SkillOnNet), it’s a shame they can’t keep it together to ensure a rep monitors our forum.
Slotland Slotland was listed in Casinomeister’s Accredited section from November 2000 until January 2005. There was an issue about the rules for their Video Poker than needed reviewing (they acted as slots instead of VP), and the casino was removed from the accred list when they failed to update their games’ rules.

Since then, they have gone through some management changes, and have not shown much interest on coming back on the site. Nevertheless, they seem to have many satisfied players. Their sister site Winaday runs the same software – a proprietary Slotland brand that seems a little archaic, but a lot of slot players love it (I guess they have a lot of old-timers there). They are based in Europe but are US facing. They’ve been in operation since 1998 (same as Casinomeister) and seldom generate complaints.

SlotsLV Slots.lv was removed from the Accredited section for breaching our Casinomeister Standards on Marketing: “Must not implement retroactive terms and conditions to their affiliate programs without explicit permission and agreement from the affiliate.” They forced all of their affiliates to use Bitcoin which breached those terms.

And then to add more grief, they cancelled their licensing with the Kahnawake Gaming Commission – so at the moment, either they are unlicensed or they are just not listing the licensing information on their website.

Sunser Slots Sunset Slots was going for the Baptism By Fire but were disqualified when it turned out that their marketing arm had used a stolen database. So, their status is in limbo.
StarGames StarGames was accredited for some time in 2010-2011, but their rep disappeared. They tried coming back on board via Baptism by Fire, but their payouts just took too long, and their CS was too slow as well. After enough players complained, their BBF was cancelled – 16 October 2013.
Tropica Casino Tropica Casino is a relatively good casino – with many praises from our forum members, but during the Baptism by Fire stage, there was an email exchange that was a game changer. This is located here. Players are advised that they can do as they please (obviously), but for the time being, I cannot endorse this casino.
Vernons Vernons casino: they too tried BBF but failed due to being unresponsive. BBF failed August 2012.
Virgin Virgin casino was once an outstanding and very formidable IGT casino listed as an accredited casino. But with personnel changes and changes in management, they fell off of the radar screen and just stopped getting involved with Casinomeister. It’s a shame really since they were pretty good. More on Virgin here.
WildJack WildJack Casino was once part of the Jackpot Factory group, but then it wasn’t. It is still marketed by Brightshare, Jackpot Factory’s affiliate program, but its management lies elsewhere. Too many balls were dropped concerning player complaints – so that was it for that. They are a Microgaming download casino with mobile available.
