Should you attempt to make a big withdrawal or have issues verifying your account, the customer support team is likely to simply ignore you – and you won’t find yourself able to get help from any external regulators as the site’s online gambling license is from Curacao – meaningless, in reality.

To write this Playama casino review, we were curious to look at how the casino conducted KYC (Know Your Customer) checks – if at all.

PlayAmo Casino offers almost all of Pragmatic’s slots, and Play’n Go is also heavily featured. Titles like Book of Dead, Reactoonz and Wild Frames are all available to play for real money, and the site offers a huge number of video slots. Lucky Blue Slot is another slot the casino appears to be “plugging” at writing.
However, as we pointed out earlier, we believe many of these slots could be pirated/fake. If not, the slots running at the casino are likely running at much lower RTPs than you’d find at regulated casinos.
Don’t be fooled by the generous selection of slots on offer; these slots may well be rigged and will have a much lower RTP than you should be getting.
Live Dealer Games
PlayAmo Casino uses two main game developers for their live dealer casino; Evolution Gaming and Authentic Gaming. Evolution Gaming is the clear market leader in the live dealer games industry. Indeed, Evolution Gaming has won several awards for its games.
That’s why, when writing this PlayAmo Casino review, we were surprised to see so many Evolution Gaming live dealer games available at the shady site. While PlayAmo Casino does have a gaming license, we’d expect better from Evolution. It’s disheartening to see them so willing to provide their games to shady/unethical operators.

The wide variety of these Roulette games is Auto Roulette – although you will find some other variations like European Roulette, American Roulette, Roulette Silver, Roulette Classic, Sapphire Roulette, European Roulette VIP, Aviation Roulette, Double Ball Roulette and a few more.
When it comes to Blackjack, PlayAmo Casino has slightly more variety, and they offer quite a few Blackjack games players can play for real money.
This includes Blackjack Classic, Blackjack, European Blackjack, Multi-Hand Blackjack, Blackjack Perfect Pairs, Blackjack Multi-Hand Pro, Blackjack Surrender, Double Exposure Blackjack, Pontoon (Blackjack), Vegas Blackjack and more.
Blackjack games are found under the “Blackjack” tab, with Roulette also having its own tab.
Table Games
While writing this review, PlayAmo Casino showed us they clearly aren’t shy when it comes to real money casino table games and video poker! They offer a huge selection of games – all of which allow you to play in Bitcoin – and you could see how unsuspecting players could fall into the trap of playing at this clip-shot casino.
PlayAmo Casino has other casino table games on offer like Sic Bo, Caribbean Stud Poker, Baccarat, Dragon Tiger, Pai Gow, and Three Card Poker.
When it comes to Video Poker, the online casino provides a fairly small selection of titles, including Aces and Faces, American Poker, Three Cards, and American Poker V. All of these games – along with their live, slot, progressive slot and table games – are playable in instant play mode.
Progressive jackpots
PlayAmo Casino appears to offer relatively few progressive jackpot slots – again, another warning sign that something’s amiss. While they feature Microgaming and NetEnt’s (seemingly) full game library, they don’t offer any of their progressive jackpot games – no Mega Moolah, no Divine Fortune, no Hall of Gods…
And this leads us to strongly believe they may be running pirated copies of certain games.
The few progressive jackpot games we did find were from smaller, less trustworthy software providers, EGT and Betsoft, for example.
EGT’s selection of progressive jackpot games included just five titles – 20 Golden Coins, Lucky Wood, Dorothy’s Fairyland, The Story of Alexander 2, and Dynamic Paytable Roulette – but the biggest jackpot on offer was just $4,000 at the time of writing – so it’s hardly going to win over any jackpot-seeking players.
This lack of progressive jackpot games is yet another reason for valid concern – and it’s almost unheard of for an online casino to not offer a great selection of titles.
About the Team and History
Very little is known about PlayAmo Casino, although it appears as though they were launched around 2016/2017. The casino is owned and operated by Direx N.V and managed by SoftSwiss N.V. The fact that PlayAmo Casino is owned and operated by Direx N.V isn’t a good sign.
The site holds a gaming license in Curacao from the CMS Trust – and it should be noted that the regulator they hold a license with has, in the past, been shown to turn a completely blind eye to casinos running fake games.
There are very few restricted countries at PlayAmo Casino, restricting countries where necessary, as required in terms of their gaming license. This requires them to not accept players from the United Kingdom, the United States, France, and Sweden.
However, there have been reports of the casino allowing sign-ups – and taking bets – from players within restricted countries. Of course, those players were subsequently denied any winnings. PlayAmo Casino is ROGUE, and we do NOT recommend any player play there.
The site talked about launching a sports betting facility recently, although we were unable to find any sports betting portal. Sports betting will likely come to PlayAmo in the future, however.
Complaints and Track Record
PlayAmo Casino is part of the Playamo Partners Group. This is the same group who have been confirmed to operate 22Bet; also involved are 1xSlots and 1xBet. Many online casinos operating within this network of sites and game developers have been found to offer fake, pirated copies of games – and we’ve seen multiple complaints of PlayAmo Casino confiscating wins from players, citing ridiculous terms and conditions – or making them up as they go along.

What’s more, the casino has a dormancy term in their terms and conditions – one that we consider being predatory and is designed purely to take advantage of players who don’t log into their accounts for a while.
“If the player’s account stays inactive during 180 days (the account holder performs no deposits, bets or withdrawals), it is considered a Dormant Account. The casino reserves the right to terminate such an account and withhold any cash available on the account balance. If the player decides to re-activate his Dormant Account, they shall contact the casino support team.”
While it’s not unreasonable for online casinos to have dormancy terms in place, it’s a basic practice to make significant attempts to contact a player before confiscating winnings – and most legitimate casinos only charge a small fee for dormant accounts.
