It’s a very poor look for the casino, as Dunover points out:

‘This behavior (if precisely as the OP suggests) is why we have licensing jurisdictions. To hold a player’s winnings, cajole him into reversing withdrawals by way of cashback/bonuses so that he can get paid in a reasonable time.

Anyway, why is this response 18 months too late? Presumably, the player has been paid by now or fell for the rogue behavior and spunked it back. I hope not.’

Now, the player was paid out, as the Maneki Casino rep noted on the 4th of May 2020 – but it was pretty poor behavior from the site and something we hope they’ve improved on since.
