M88 Casino Review
Crypto casino and sportsbook and lots of recurring bonuses
Casinomeister's Verdict
For every good thing about M88 Mansion, they seem to have something not-so-good as a counterweight.
At face value, it all looks good — it’s a crypto casino with slots, live games, and a sportsbook, no withdrawal limits, lots of ongoing promotions, and customer support that responds near-instantly. However, they also have a limited number of providers on the site, not a lot of payment methods, high wagering requirements on most bonuses, no responsible gaming tools, and dubious licensing.
That said, M88 is as Grey Zone as they come and it’s unlikely to count among our best-rated online casinos any time soon. There are definitely good things about it, but we must advise caution if you decide to play here. Read our full M88 review for more, and be sure to share your experience in the forum if you decide to try it out.
Solid selection of games with no withdrawal limits
From the desk of Max Drayman
M88bet.com is primarily an Asian-facing casino, which probably explains why there has been remarkably little mention of it on Casinomeister, in spite of the good many years of it having been on the scene. The license is issued by The Republic of Vanuatu — an archipelago in the South Pacific — which is also unknown to us. M88bet’s sister casinos also seem pretty clean. The best we can say is that we have nothing bad to say which, all things considered, is actually a rather good thing. Proceed with caution, as is ever the case with obscure off-shore licensed casinos, but there is no obvious cause for alarm.
First Impression
The M88 Mansion brand has been around since 2008, albeit without a huge footprint in the west, as they primarily targeted Asian markets. Still, seeing that a public company has been active in the industry for over 15 years and is going strong is a good sign in itself.
M88 Mansion has several casinos under this brand, and the one we’re looking at here is an international crypto casino. The design of the site seems somewhat cheap and drab at a glance, as it’s dominated by shades of gray. However, it’s neatly organized with a decent selection of games, despite a relatively small number of providers currently on the site. It was also good to see both fiat and crypto payment options, though more payment methods would’ve been welcome.
The most notable detail was the licensing — they hold a Vanuatu gaming license issued in 2013 for a period of 15 years. This is hardly a leading jurisdiction in the industry, so it didn’t fill me with confidence. It could become a leading offshore jurisdiction in the coming years, or the new 1668/JAZ, we’ll have to wait and see.

BONUSES AND PROMOTIONS
Even though the bonus terms generally aren’t the best, the casino offers great variety on this front. There’s a decent selection of bonuses, including a welcome bonus, free spins, weekly reloads, and daily cashback.
M88 Welcome Bonus
The welcome bonus at M88 is a simple deposit bonus: 100% up to $2500 on your first deposit, with maximum winnings of $8000. There’s a 30x wagering requirement applied to both the deposit and the bonus amount. So, you effectively have to wager your deposit 60 times within 14 days, which is far from ideal.
The bonus for crypto players is a bit better, as the matching offer applies to amounts up to 25,000 USDT and maximum winnings of 80,000 USDT. This might attract the attention of some high rollers but the other terms remain the same. So, while it’s in line with the high matching amounts commonly seen in crypto casinos, it’s not a proper high roller bonus.
There’s also a list of excluded slots you should keep in mind, but the terms are otherwise quite simple. All things considered, it’s a decent and straightforward bonus, and it would be even better if it weren’t for the absurdly high wagering requirement.
No-Deposit & Free Spins Offers
While there are no no-deposit bonuses at the moment, the M88 casino offers a range of additional bonus offers that involve free spins, bonus money, matching offer, reload bonuses, and cashback.
Some notable offers that are available right now include:
- 250% match up to 250 USDT, with 30 days to meet the 48x wagering requirement on the bonus amount only.
- Thunder Thursday — Deposit at least 40 USDT on a Thursday to get 10 free spins valued at 1 USDT you can use on Gates of Olympus. Wagering requirement: 18x.
- Wild Wednesday — Deposit at least 80 USDT and get 40 USDT in bonus money that has to be wagered only 8 times.
- Daily Rebate — Daily cashback ranging from 0.5% to 1%, no wagering requirements.
- Live Casino Reload — 50% match up to 250 USDT, 38x wagering requirement.
There’s currently over 20 bonuses on the site at the moment, so there’s no shortage of extra offers. You never know when a good casino bonus will crop up, so even if 9/10 are underwhelming, that one offer with favorable terms makes it worthwhile.
VIP and Loyalty Programs
There’s a 5-tier leveling system players can go through: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Each tier has a specific point total, and you can earn 1 point per:
- 150 USDT wagered on slots,
- 250 USDT wagered in the live casino, or
- 100 USDT wagered on sports.
Getting to Silver requires 80 points, i.e., 8000 to 20,000 USDT wagered. They don’t show how many points it takes to get to each level, support wasn’t able to share that information, and dropping 8K on sports bets for this isn’t exactly in our budget. So, I can only assume they do what most casinos do and increase the “cost” of each level linearly or exponentially. Either way, getting to higher levels isn’t cheap.
The rewards aren’t too bad, with extra daily cashback, as well as weekly cashback on the last two tiers. Apart from that, there’s the usual “trust me bro” stuff like priority withdrawals, higher withdrawal and bet limits (they don’t say how much), and a handful of free bets.
Sounds good, right? Well, here’s the kicker: every month, they check how many points you have, and if it’s less than 50% towards the next level, you get bumped down. I don’t think I’m going out on a limb when I say a VIP program is supposed to reward returning players, not be used as a carrot on a stick to push people to keep spending thousands every month.
All in all, this could’ve been a decent loyalty program, but I can’t say anything positive about it when your (expensive) benefits are held hostage and will be taken away just because you decided to take a break for a few weeks. It shows just how “committed to supporting responsible gambling” they really are and it doesn’t reward loyalty, period.
Banking & Payment Methods
You’ll find a number of payment options at M88 Mansion, but the selection will vary based on your location and chosen currency.
For fiat currencies, the casino supports USD, CAD, EUR, ZAR, NZD, and INR. You can make deposits via direct bank transfers, debit/credit cards, eWallets, and even vouchers. The available eWallets include MiFinity, Jetonbank, Luxon Pay, AstroPay, and WebPayz. This is a decent selection overall but still somewhat limited since there’s usually 2-3 eWallets per currency.
As for cryptocurrencies, it’s quite an underwhelming set of options compared to many other crypto casinos. You can only deposit BTC, ETH, USDT, or USDC. These are always the most popular options, but I would’ve preferred to see some up-and-coming altcoins such as DOGE and Solana as well.
Withdrawal Speed
Withdrawals at M88 can take anywhere from a few hours to several days, so there isn’t much to say on that front. They don’t give themselves a deadline and they don’t guarantee same-day withdrawals, so if that’s what you’re looking for, best check out some fast withdrawal casinos.
On the upside, there are no casino-imposed withdrawal limits on a daily, weekly, or monthly level, only per-transaction limits depending on what payment method you use. However, nothing is explicitly stated about this in their terms at the time of writing, so if you end up playing here, be sure to let us know in the forum should they try to limit your withdrawals in any way.
Apart from that, keep in mind that your withdrawal method must be the same as the deposit method, and the deposit must be wagered at least once before you can make a withdrawal.
Responsible Gaming
Many online casinos don’t bother much with responsible gaming features unless their jurisdiction requires it, and as you might expect, Vanuatu isn’t exactly strict in this regard.
The responsible gaming page at M88 provides a checklist of things to keep in mind if you think you might have a gambling problem, some basic advice on how to play responsibly, and they provide links to external organizations that can help if you think you might have a problem.
The only actual responsible gambling feature is self-exclusion — you can self-exclude through customer support for periods between 6 months and 5 years. This is nothing new for long-term self-exclusion but I would’ve liked to see an option for short-term cool-off periods too. No reason you can’t ban me for 6 days the same way you can for 6 months. In practice, it’s a problem since players might be reluctant to commit to freezing their account for half a year, especially with the way the VIP program works.
All in all, a basic, bare-minimum responsible gaming package — it’s good they have something at least, but there’s a lot of room for improvement. A lot.
Customer Support at M88
The customer support was one of the positive highlights at M88, as they have a wide range of support channels: live chat, email, and several phone numbers in the US, the UK, and New Zealand.
The live chat was the best channel, as usual. It’s available 24/7 and agents always replied within half a minute, no matter the day or time or day I was trying to reach out. They were always polite and helpful with any inquiries I had, so no complaints there. The only time you have to deal with a chatbot is if you’re trying to contact support without a registered account, probably since they want to prioritize registered users.
Additionally, there’s a help center with a number of frequently asked questions that might be useful to some users, which is always a good thing. Overall, a very good look on the customer support end.
KYC
The verification process at M88 is mostly straightforward stuff: identity and age verification via some kind of personal ID, as well as proof of address through a bank statement or utility bill. At their discretion, the casino may require further documentation, such as a proof of transaction, a selfie with your provided ID, etc.
There is no specified start point for the verification procedure, which usually means it will start when you make your first withdrawal request. That said, it’s best to take care of the KYC process before making a deposit, which you can easily do from your profile page.
M88 Casino Experience and Features
The M88 casino site mostly sticks to the tried-and-true online casino layout — deposits in the upper right, everything else in the side bar on the left. You can find the main casino sections here, including the online casino, live casino, and sportsbook. You’ll also find dedicated sections for promotions, tournaments, account information, support, and more.
The design choices are nothing to write home about though, and the site can even feel somewhat cheap at times. It’s mostly gray-on-black, giving it a very monotonous appearance. But hey, it’s functional, and that’s the most important thing.
Desktop and Mobile Gaming
M88 Mansion doesn’t have a dedicated mobile app (not for this site at least) and the mobile casino is obviously just the desktop version squished to fit a smaller display.
As a result, the banners and many elements are often too big and many buttons are too small to comfortably tap on a touchscreen. That said, the mobile site works and this shouldn’t be too big of an issue for tablets, but M88 is far from being the top online casino for anyone who mainly plays on mobile.
Brand games
M88 Casino Game Providers
At the moment, M88 only has games from 10 providers on offer: Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, NetEnt, Microgaming, Spribe, Nolimit City, Playtech, Red Tiger, Blueprint Gaming, and Big Time Gaming. This is an extremely narrow selection, as online casinos often have dozens of providers featured on their site.
M88 Slots
Given the underwhelming number of game providers, the casino has a relatively limited selection of slots on offer. However, there’s still hundreds of games from industry-leading names, and the site is organized fairly well.
You can browse slots by provider or by several pre-made categories including popular slots, games with bonus buy features, jackpots, table games, new additions, and more. Another good thing is that each game shows real RTP based on data from the last 24 hours, though you sadly can’t filter games by RTP.
Live Casino
M88’s live casino games selection was a pleasant surprise, with titles from Pragmatic, Evolution Gaming, and Playtech. This isn’t a spectacular selection by any means, but still good, especially considering the relatively limited selection of slots.
All games are sorted into their respective categories, so you can find what you need easily: blackjack, baccarat, roulette, sic bo, game shows, and others. Sadly, you can’t browse games by variant, but that’s not too big an issue given the number of games per category. Looking for speed blackjack or French roulette? You won’t have to scroll far to find them.
About the M88 Team and History
The M88 brand has been around for almost two decades now, with several online casino sites targeting different markets. It primarily focuses on Asian countries, so that explains why there’s been relatively little mention of them at Casinomeister so far. It’s owned by Mountain Breeze Ltd, which doesn’t seem to have any other notable brands under its umbrella.
The company holds a Vanuatu Interactive Gaming license (no. IGL25/2013), which we didn’t have a lot of experience with. Vanuatu updated their license in July 2024, though M88 still seems to only have the old one issued in 2013. Given the timing, it’s safe to assume that Vanuatu Gaming Authority aims to provide an alternative to the now-discontinued Curacao licenses, but only time will tell how reliable it will prove to be as a licensing jurisdiction.
Complaints and Track Record
We didn’t have much in the way of complaints about M88 at Casinomeister, but that is very likely due to the fact they primarily targeted Asian markets in the past.
There seem to be a handful of negative user reviews and complaints around the web that went unresolved — it’s not a big enough sample size to pass any concrete judgments, especially since there are several casinos under this brand, but still something to keep in mind. Larger companies are usually less responsive to individual complaints, doubly so if they’re in a more lenient jurisdiction.
We’ll be keeping an eye out for potential issues. And if you encounter any, be sure to share your experience in the forums. If you’re worried about running into issues, it’s best to check out some of Casinomeister Accredited casinos instead.
