Las Vegas USA Review

An old-school RTG online casino in the Grey Zone

By Casinomeister, Last updated Dec 6, 2023

Casinomeister's Verdict

Las Vegas USA was at one time an Accredited Casino at Casinomeister – this was years ago. Still, some changes in their payouts (they became excruciatingly slow) caused them to be removed.

They are part of the Main Street group, which is an OK casino group. They have been around for nearly twenty years and have an experienced crew. They are powered by RTG and are licensed in the flaccid licensing jurisdiction of Panama.

They have a $20K monthly withdrawal limit, and their payouts take a few days. They have a relatively active forum rep, so they should be handled if you have any issues.

First Impression

To begin our Las Vegas USA Casino review, we will cover a few of our initial thoughts. After spending some time on the site, we were somewhat struck by its design; it’s dated, but it does a fairly good job of capturing the feel of iconic Vegas casinos. Images of neon lights are displayed – and while some would probably call it over the top, we don’t think it looks too bad.

The website is straightforward to navigate, thanks to an intuitive menu system that enables users to find their preferred games quickly. One thing you should know is that the casino is powered exclusively by RTG – you will not find games from more prominent providers like Netent, Big Time Gaming, or Barcrest. Still, there are 150+ video slots and a handful of casino table games alongside progressive jackpots and instant wins.

Las Vegas Casino offers a varied selection of bonuses and promotions, although they’re far from the best we’ve seen. Their payment method selection is much the same – although they do offer most of the “industry standard” banking options, with just a couple missing. To kick off this Las Vegas USA Casino review, we’re going to be taking a look at the site’s main bonuses and promotions.

Pros

  • Tons of RTG online casino games

  • They have been around for a long time

  • Decent deposit bonus

Cons

  • Weak licensing jurisdiction

  • Withdrawal limits of $20k per month

  • Withdrawals can take up to five working days

  • Complaints of refusing to pay winnings

BONUSES AND PROMOTIONS

Las Vegas USA Casino offers an array of bonuses and promotions to attract new players and keep existing ones loyal! The site’s promotional offerings include a generous welcome bonus alongside an exclusive VIP program that rewards continual play at the site.

Like most RTG-powered casinos, Las Vegas USA’s bonuses come with higher-than-average wagering requirements, so this is something we urge you to keep in mind.

Welcome Offer & Deposit Bonus - Watch The Wagering Requirements

New Las Vegas USA Casino players can claim the site’s main welcome bonus. It’s a pretty standard 400% matched deposit bonus of up to $10,000 – which is, admittedly, a very high amount. The minimum deposit to claim the welcome bonus is just $20 – reasonable, we feel – and the bonus funds are credited to your account immediately.

Note: To claim the welcome bonus at Las Vegas USA Casino, you need to enter a bonus code. We won’t list it here, as it’s subject to change. Check out their “bonuses and promotions” page to view up-to-date information about their welcome bonus and the bonus code you need to use to be able to claim it.

As we mentioned earlier, the welcome bonus comes with pretty high wagering requirements. You need to wager the bonus amount a total of 50 times before it’s transferred to your real money balance. As you’d expect, not all games contribute equally to the wagering requirements. Most RTG slots do contribute 100% – but casino table games (if allowed at all) often contribute as little as 5%!

No-Deposit & Free Spins Offers (No Free Cash)

Las Vegas USA Casino does not provide a no-deposit bonus for new players at the time of writing. If we notice a change in the future, we’ll do our best to update this review as soon as possible.

VIP and Loyalty Programs - An Honest Casino?

Las Vegas USA Casino likes to look after its loyal players, and they achieve this through their VIP program. Like many RTG-powered sites, their VIP program is tier-based and runs on comp points.

You earn comp points by placing real money wagers, and as you earn points, you’ll start to “level up” to higher tiers. Doing so unlocks special perks. This can include higher withdrawal limits, exclusive bonuses and promotions, access to a dedicated VIP manager, and, at higher levels, tickets to events!

BANKING AND PAYMENT METHODS

Las Vegas USA Casino offers a variety of deposit options to cater to players from different regions and with varying preferences. They accept all major debit and credit cards, EWallets – including Netent and Skrill – and Paysafecard Bitcoin, and other cryptos are also available.

The minimum deposit amount is, for most payment methods, $20, while the maximum limit varies depending on which method you use. Bitcoin, for example, doesn’t appear to have any limit. Most deposits are credited to your online gambling account immediately; however, if you deposit with crypto, you’ll need to wait for a minimum of one confirmation on the Blockchain before the funds are credited to your account.

We should also point out that some payment methods can’t be used if you want to claim the main welcome bonus. This rule is the same at all Mainstreet Vegas Group casinos – and it’s something that most online casinos enforce to reduce the chance of fraud.

Las Vegas USA Casino Withdrawal Speed

Las Vegas USA Casino provides players with several withdrawal options; generally speaking, you can withdraw using the same payment methods you deposited with. This means credit and debit cards, EWallets, bank transfers, and crypto withdrawals are all possible. However, some credit cards are unable to process withdrawals; if this is the case with yours, the casino will suggest an alternative method.

Las Vegas USA Casino takes pride in processing withdrawals “quickly,” stating that most withdrawals are completed within 3-5 days. However, it is unclear whether this refers to processing time or the time it takes for the funds to reach players’ accounts.

While writing this Las Vegas USA Casino review, we found it ironic that the casino claims to “take pride” in processing withdrawals in 3-5 business days. In 2023, this is a very long waiting period, and the casino will need to improve in this area to attract more players.

The minimum withdrawal amount is usually $100, while maximum withdrawal limits depend on the player’s VIP level and chosen payment method. Unfortunately, Las Vegas USA Casino does not offer a withdrawal lock feature. It may be possible to ask the customer support team to lock your account for a few days – but this isn’t something we’ve tested.

On the whole, Las Vegas USA’s payout speeds are poor. In our opinion, the only good thing is the somewhat high withdrawal limit of $20,000. Even then, it’s lower than what many high rollers would expect – and this could deter players from signing up. We should also point out; as the site is based in Costa Rica, banking can get a bit complex. As a result, some players may have to withdraw using a Money Order – essentially circumventing financial regulatory requirements!

Responsible gaming

Responsible gambling at online casinos is, today, more important than ever before. It’s vital that ALL online casinos provide players with tools and resources to help them manage their gambling – and a lot of sites do a great job at this. Las Vegas USA Casino, on the other hand – well, they fall short here, that’s for sure.

Although they do offer some responsible gambling measures – a deposit limit and self-exclusion – that’s all there is, and it appears as though you need to manually contact the customer support team to get these limits implemented – something we hate to see.

As a result, players who need genuine help and support may not get it at Las Vegas USA – so if you think you may be inclined to overspend, you’d be better off choosing a site with better responsible gambling tools – or not gambling completely.

Customer support

For a satisfying gaming experience, good customer support is crucial, and Las Vegas USA Casino delivers on this front to its credit. They offer several ways of getting in touch. If you ever encounter any issues or have questions, you’ll be able to speak with someone 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is made possible by the live chat facility, which lets you chat in real time with a support agent from your internet browser window.

If you need to submit documentation – or have a problem the live chat agent can’t help with – you can also reach the casino’s support team via email. However, response times aren’t amazing, and players usually need to wait between 24 and 48 hours to receive a response from the casino.

Finally, Las Vegas USA Casino also features an FAQ section on its website, which covers a range of common questions and concerns. These cover pretty basic areas, like registering an account and making deposits and withdrawals – but it’s a good “first point of contact” to see if there’s already an answer to the question or problem you have.

KYC

Las Vegas USA Casino, like all online casinos, must technically comply with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) regulations. In reality, this means they’re required to carry out KYC checks on players – but, as is almost always the case with Curacao-licensed casinos, there’s always confusion and inconsistency.

In highly-regulated markets like the UK, it’s a legal requirement for online gambling operators to verify their user’s IDs. If they fail to do so, they can – and often do – face million-dollar fines. Curacao couldn’t care less, however – and many casinos licensed there simply don’t bother with KYC checks at all or only request them when a player wants to make a withdrawal; a stalling tactic, if you like.

With that being said, the owners of Las Vegas USA Casino are pretty reliable – so we’d be surprised if they weren’t following the terms of their license. However, you won’t be asked to submit ID documents when signing up, that’s for sure. Most likely, you’ll be asked to complete a KYC check when you make your first withdrawal. The casino will contact you and let you know what they need. Usually, you just need to prove your name, address, and age.

A final word of warning on KYC checks at Curacao casinos; players should always exercise caution when submitting sensitive documents to Curacao-based casinos. Security protocols at some of these casinos are known to be very poor, and some of the more rogue sites are even suspected of selling players’ financial data to criminals! To stress, however, this is not something we are concerned about at Las Vegas USA Casino – they’re a legit operation.

Website Experience and Features

Desktop and Mobile Gaming – Instant Play Gaming?

Las Vegas USA Casino’s desktop platform boasts a nostalgic design reminiscent of early online casinos. While this retro aesthetic may charm some, to us, it does appear a little outdated. However, the site’s user-friendly navigation means it’s pretty easy to access all the different games available.

The mobile casino, however, has definitely got a lot of room for improvement. There isn’t a dedicated mobile casino app. When we were writing this review, we struggled with loading games – we just ended up staring at a blank loading screen for about four minutes until the game eventually loaded.

In the (near) future, we’d like to see the casino drastically “upping its game” regarding its mobile gaming facilities. While we don’t expect to see them developing a downloadable mobile casino app, we’d like to see the mobile-optimized website – well, mobile-optimized!

However, there is one silver lining; Las Vegas USA Casino offers a downloadable software client that you can install on your desktop or laptop. We’ll talk more about this in the following section of this Las Vegas USA Casino review!

A Downloadable Software Client

Las Vegas USA Casino offers a dedicated software client which you can download directly onto your computer. While ten years ago, this made a huge difference with game speed, today, the internet is so fast – and all games are developed using HTML5 technology – the need for downloadable software clients has largely been eradicated.

With that being said, some players simply prefer to play at a download-based casino. For some, it brings back a feeling of nostalgia. For others, it’s simply how they started gambling online – and that’s how they’d like to keep it.

There is one benefit to playing through the downloadable software client rather than on the desktop website, however. There are a few casino games and video slots that can only be played on the downloadable software client. This is likely done in an attempt to get players to download the software in the first place – and if you want to “unlock” the full range of RTG’s games at Las Vegas USA Casino, downloading their desktop software is perhaps a good idea.

Of course, downloading a physical program onto your computer or laptop isn’t without its downsides. One notable drawback is the necessity of installing the software – taking up valuable storage and, for those on older devices, even slowing their systems down.

Cross-platform compatibility presents another issue. The downloadable client is designed for Windows operating systems, which means Mac and Linux users are unable to enjoy the same benefits afforded to Windows users. Still, it’s better than nothing, and it doesn’t harm anyone by offering it – so we’ll give Las Vegas USA Casino some credit here.

Brand games

Providers

Powered by RTG, Las Vegas USA Casino boasts an impressive collection of over 150 slot games. As you’d expect at a casino in 2023, you’ll find slots of all volatility levels and themes – and there are progressive jackpots, too. However, you won’t find some of the more iconic games – Megaways titles, for example – as RTG really is the only software provider you’ll find on the site!

Online Casino Slots

At Las Vegas USA Casino, players can enjoy more than 150 RTG slots. You’ll find all of the game developer’s classics, like Cleopatra’s Gold, Aztec’s Millions, and Caesar’s Empire. With intricate backstories (and big win potential), it’s no surprise these slots have proven to be so popular among players.

Besides classic slots, the casino also offers an array of modern video slots with inventive elements like expanding wilds, cascading reels, and interactive bonus rounds. Cash Bandits, Bubble Bubble, and Lucha Libre exemplify popular RTG video slots. While they don’t perform like the games you’d see from providers like Push Gaming or Pragmatic Play, there is still some semi-decent win potential, and many RTG games have progressive jackpots, too.

Live Online Casinos

Las Vegas USA Casino does not provide any live dealer games. This is a pretty big drawback in 2023, and it’s likely to affect many players’ decisions to join.

Live dealer games such as blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and poker have become increasingly popular as they provide real-time interaction with professional dealers and other players.

Although Las Vegas USA Casino does not offer live dealer games, we know plenty of RTG-powered casinos that do. Many of these sites partner with Visionary iGaming, for example, so we don’t see why it would be difficult for Las Vegas USA, to do the same.

Table Games and Video Poker Titles

Las Vegas USA Casino offers a small yet sufficient range of table games and video poker machines, offering that classic casino experience. Its assortment of table games includes timeless classics like Roulette, Baccarat, Craps, and Blackjack, along with some less-well-known variations, some with unique side bets.

While the video poker selection isn’t the largest in the world, you’ll find most of the “staples,” including Jacks or Better, Joker Poker, Deuces Wild, and Loose Deuces.

Although the number of casino table games, video poker, and slots isn’t as big as the offering you’d find at many European-facing casinos, Las Vegas USA does its best. If you’re a fan of RTG’s games, you’ll feel right at home; if not, you may want to consider choosing a different online casino.

Progressive jackpots

As with almost any online casino today, Las Vegas USA Casino offers several renowned RTG progressive slots, such as Aztec’s Millions, Megasaur, and Spirit of the Inca. These games have a reputation for their high jackpot potential, with prize pools that steadily increase until a fortunate player lands the winning combination!

In addition to progressive slots, Las Vegas USA Casino also presents table games with progressive jackpots like Caribbean Stud Poker and Let ‘Em Ride, allowing players to experience classic casino games with elevated win potential.

About the Team and History

Las Vegas USA Casino was established in 1999, making it one of the earlier online casinos in the industry. Main Street Vegas Group has run the casino since its foundation, and they’re an experienced bunch of guys – some of whom Bryan, from Casinomeister, has met personally. In addition to Las Vegas USA Casino, they own Sun Palace and Vegas Casino Online.

Mainstreet Vegas Group has built quite a reputation for itself over the years. While they’ve had their fair share of ups and downs, they have already come out on top – even if they did lose their Accreditation status here at Casinomeister many years ago. They maintain great ties with RTG and are one of the few non-US licensed casinos to advertise that they accept US sign-ups.

However, Main Street Vegas Group’s casinos have been subject to criticism regarding their Curacao license. Curacao is widely known for its very relaxed regulations and tenuous oversight, sparking concerns about what happens if players run into problems at a Curacao-licensed casino.

Complaints and Track Record

We’ve known the team operating Las Vegas USA Casino for decades – but that doesn’t mean we’re going to go easy on them! To help us write this review, we checked the Casinomeister forums to see what our members were saying.

For example, one member, Jessica, noted that her withdrawals had been stopped in this thread, stating: I have an issue I don’t know how to resolve. I played an entire group of casinos for a long time. Then I won at each casino! At first, they paid me a little bit. Then payments slowed. We are grateful for your patience.

And then they stopped altogether. Instead, the people in the chat told me, “Your account has been banned since your details were flagged as high risk or fraud by one of our trusted credit card processors.”

What gets me is they let me use those credit cards in the first place, I never had a disputed transaction, and they all paid me a little bit. I just don’t understand what happened! I think they just don’t want to pay me!”

In fact, in 2018, MAXd posted an official warning in the Casinomeister forum. It’s a long read, but we’ll summarize it below. You can read the full notice here.

He noted: “WARNING: Mainstreet group cannot be relied on to pay player winnings. Either their processor is holding them at gunpoint, or they’re simply BSing their way through this, but the upshot is that the casino management is abdicating responsibility for player payments. They refuse to pay out on cases outside the current calendar year because “the processor” said so.”
