Jackpot247 Review

Rogue progressive payout terms

Casinomeister's Verdict

Hands down – this is a rogue casino. Unfortunately, most players are oblivious to their unethical terms for their progressive jackpots. Most players don’t read or understand what it means for a casino to piece-meal winnings that may exceed several million Euros over decades. Avoid this casino at all costs.

Please note: Jackpot247 Casino and all UKGC Casinos no longer accept credit cards.

Jackpots247 is a rogue casino. They have terms for their progressive wins that are designed to make players pay back their winnings. Progressive jackpots come directly from the casino software supplier (Playtech) and do not belong to the casino.

From their terms:

11.14.. In addition to the Agreement set out above, the following terms and conditions apply each time You play, or attempt to play, a Game with a progressive jackpot:

We or our Game suppliers or sub-contractors may increase or decrease a progressive jackpot at any time at Our or their absolute discretion.

If You win a progressive jackpot, We reserve the right to, provided all these terms and conditions and all the Website’s terms and conditions have been observed, pay or procure the payment of the prize money to You in equal monthly instalments of £10,000. In lieu of the monthly payments, a progressive jackpot winner may be offered the option of selecting a reduced lump sum amount based on the present value of the future payments.

That term is predatory and unethical. There is no reason whatsoever to pay monthly instalments (sic) of £10,000, unless the casino operators want the player to play back his or her winnings. To say that the player can have a reduced amount is no less than theft – and the honest Playtech operators should be livid about these casinos confiscating funds that are from a pooled source.

There is a thieving precedence set here: Playtech Progressive Win Scandal

I have also lost faith in the UKGC and Alderney doing their due diligence. These licensing jurisdictions are .
