Fruta Casino Review
A fresh new casino with a great welcome bonus
Written By: Filip Colovic | Last updated Sep 20, 2024
Casinomeister's Verdict
Fruta is a new casino that has a lot to offer to players who are after some simple, hassle-free fun with slots. There’s a ton of games to choose from, some live casino games from Pragmatic on the side, and a generous welcome bonus.
There are some obvious growing pains, though, most notably the low withdrawal limits, a lack of 24/7 support, and a rather dubious loyalty program. Still, Fruta’s parent company and sister casino have been steadfast so far. So, after thorough testing, we can confidently recommend this casino if you think it has what you’re looking for.

Clean and simple website design
From the desk of Max Drayman
We have nothing on record for Fruta so we can’t say anything good or bad about them on the complaints side. We have seen that their license jurisdiction is apparently Estonia and that has, to date, not been an encouraging license to see being used. The Estonian Tax and Customs Board has so far made a habit of saying “yes, the casino is doing bad things but we can’t force them not to” or something of that nature in response to issues brought to their attention. Not quite what one would expect from an EU state licensing body.
First Impression
Fruta is a fresh new casino founded in early 2024. It’s one of the two casinos currently owned and operated by Happy Hour Solutions Ltd, the other being High Roller. The casino is licensed by the Estonian Tax and Customs board, which isn’t exactly encouraging but it could be worse.
The casino offers a wide selection of online slots from dozens of reputable providers, along with a more limited selection of live casino games. The site’s design is quite clean and clutter-free, so it’s easy to browse the different categories and find something that strikes your fancy.
The casino offers multiple deposit and withdrawal methods, including credit cards, several eWallets, and even Bitcoin. However, it’s important to note that CAD is the only accepted currency. So, if you’re outside Canada or don’t hold Canadian Dollars, the conversion rates and fees will probably be enough to keep you away from Fruta.

BONUSES AND PROMOTIONS
Welcome Offer
Fruta has a generous welcome bonus, and it’s the first thing you see when you open the site, offering up to $2,500 and 200 free spins.
This bonus consists of 3 separate deposit bonuses, which includes matching offers and free spins as follows:
- 100% match up to $1000 + 75 free spins for Book of Dead on the first deposit,
- 50% match up to $750 + 50 free spins for Gates of Olympus on the second deposit, and
- 75% match up to $750 + 75 free spins for Sweet Bonanza on the third deposit.
As for the attached strings, they aren’t too bad either. There’s a 40x wagering requirement for the bonus money (which is slightly above average) and must be completed within 30 days. Plus, the wagering requirement for the accompanying free spins is only 30x.
There are some additional restrictions to keep in mind: you can’t bet more than $5 per spin and only slots count 100% towards your wagering requirement. There’s a select few live games that count 50%, and there is a list of bonus-restricted games that you can’t play with the bonus balance.
Naturally, there are some extra terms and conditions that are prone to change over time, so check out Fruta’s welcome bonus page for the latest info.
No-Deposit & Free Spins Offers
Fruta has one no-deposit free spins bonus — they call it “Fruit Up” and it’s quite simple. As you play slots, a bar fills up on the left-hand side, and you can claim the bonus once it’s done. The progress is tied to the wagers you place, though Fruta doesn’t share exactly how this progress is calculated or what goals you have to meet to fill up the bar.
Any free spins you win are valid for the next 24 hours, and the winnings from free spins are subject to a 30x wagering requirement, which is solid for this kind of bonus. As for the value of the free spins, they’re determined by the bets you placed while working towards this bonus.
VIP and Loyalty Programs
Fruta has a loyalty program, but they don’t exactly share a lot of details about it on their site — or with registered users, for that matter. There’s precious few bits of info promising better bonuses with no wagering requirements, but that’s about it.
The way it works is simple: you play on Fruta regularly and their Loyalty Team will eventually contact you. There is no point score to keep track of in your account, so you’re just going in blind and hoping for the best.
All in all, the current state of Fruta’s loyalty program has a lot of “trust me bro” going on, with no concrete info on what requirements you have to meet or what rewards you can expect to gain. That doesn’t fill me with confidence, but Fruta is still a new casino so they’ll probably flesh out their loyalty program more in the future.
Banking & Payment Methods
The casino has a number of deposit options, including: VISA, Mastercard, paysafecard, EcoPayz, MuchBetter, AstroPay, Mifinity, Jeton Wallet, and Interac transfers. For cryptocurrencies, Fruta currently supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin.
All of these are listed in the deposit menu, most of them have a minimum deposit amount of $20, though paysafecard is a bit lower at $10. Meanwhile, the maximum deposit across all deposit methods is $4000.
It’s important to keep in mind that you currently have to use Interac, a debit/credit card, MuchBetter, or one of the supported cryptocurrencies to be eligible for the welcome bonus. Fruta mentions that deposits made via Skrill, RapidTransfer, Neteller, and paysafecard are not eligible, but it seems the actual list is a bit longer, and you’ll be able to see what payment methods are eligible for the bonus from the deposit screen.
Withdrawal Speed
When it comes to withdrawals, the selection is a bit more limited, with only 6 withdrawal methods. Withdrawals can be made using Interac, AstroPay, Jeton Wallet, MuchBetter, paysafecard, and Bitcoin.
The minimum withdrawal amounts are in the $10 to $45 range, while the maximum is set at $200 for paysafecard, $2000 for AstroPay, and $4000 for all other methods. If your withdrawal exceeds the limit, Fruta will pay your money out in installments. While it’s unlikely to bother casual players, these limits are quite low for anyone who intends to put serious money on the line.
On the bright side, all withdrawals are instant, though processing can take up to 5 business days in some cases.
Responsible Gaming
Fruta has some basic responsible gambling features. The most standout thing I noticed was a session timer that shows you how long you’ve been logged in, and it starts up automatically. You can even drag it around the screen so it can work as a constant reality check in your peripheral vision.
Apart from that, there’s a basic self-exclusion tool that lets players opt for a 24-hour or a 7-day cool-off period, which can be done easily from the account overview. Those who wish to self-exclude for longer periods of time need to contact support.
Additionally, Fruta supports several types of financial limits. Players can set limits on their wagers, deposits, and losses, and these can be set on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. The loss limit is applied through the site, but you’ll have to email support to set a deposit or wager limit.
One last thing to note is that the option to set financial limits is tucked away on the responsible gambling page in the site’s footer, rather than being available through the account overview like the time-out feature. In other words, if I was a regular player who wasn’t specifically looking to review these features, I’d probably not even know financial limits were an option. So, not very user-friendly. Or, dare I say, not a very responsible website design choice.
Fruta Customer Support
When it comes to Fruta’s customer support, the casino fares quite well. As usual, the live chat is leading at the forefront, though it isn’t available 24/7 and only works from 8 AM to 1 AM CET. If you contact the chat outside their work hours, you can leave your email address and they’ll respond as soon as they can. The chat normally responds instantly and agents have been extremely helpful with any questions I had, so it’s a big thumbs up.
Alternatively, you can email support directly, but the chat is a better option unless you want to have a conversation history or share files. There’s no way to contact the casino via phone.
KYC
When you register an account, you’ll be required to input most of the data Fruta will need to conduct its KYC checks, and it’s all pretty standard. If the data provided isn’t sufficient, they may request additional information when they start the verification process — a personal ID with a recent utility, proof of payment, and the like.
The casino doesn’t specify exactly when verification begins, only that it starts when a player reaches “a certain threshold,” which probably means a certain amount of money deposited, winnings accumulated, or upon the first withdrawal. That said, if you don’t like getting blindsided when you go to withdraw your winnings for the first time, best keep relevant documents at hand.
Website Experience and Features
If I had to summarize Fruta’s design in short: simple, neat, and consistent. The site is easy on the eyes and the blue-white-yellow color scheme works quite well with the overall “fruit” aesthetic they’re going for. The important pages are listed in the side-bar, there’s virtually zero clutter, and browsing the game selection is a breeze.
There is no dedicated Fruta app for mobile devices, but the mobile version of the site can look a bit clunky at times, but the site works well and is quite responsive and easy to use.
Brand games
Fruta Casino Game Providers
The casino has games from a total of 50 providers, including all the recognizable names such as Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, NetEnt, Gamomat, Thunderkick, and many more. You can find the full list of providers by selecting the “All Games” option on the Casino page, where you can filter them by provider.
Fruta Slots
Given the number of providers, the selection of slots is as good as you can expect, with hundreds of games to choose from. Unless you’re after some very specific niche game, you’ll probably find what you need.
Navigating the selection is also fairly easy, as slots are divided into categories you can browse on the main casino page (popular, new, high volatility, etc.), or you can filter them by provider from the “All Games” list.
And if you’re looking for something specific, that’s what the search function is for, and it even considers other keywords and tags apart from the game’s name. In the mood for some Egyptian-themed slots? Just type “Egypt” into the search bar and a selection will pop up.
Live Dealer Games
The live casino isn’t Fruta’s strongest suit, but it still offers a solid selection of games. This includes game shows, roulette, blackjack, and baccarat, most of which come from Pragmatic Play. Blackjack offers the biggest variety, with Pragmatic’s varied takes on Classic blackjack, such as ONE Blackjack, Blackjack X, and others.
About the Fruta Team and History
Fruta is a (very) new casino, having only been established in early 2024. It’s owned and operated by Happy Hour Solutions Ltd, which also runs High Roller — Fruta’s sister casino that uses the same layout, albeit with a different aesthetic. The parent company is privately held, it has been around since 2020 and has been actively investing in various iGaming ventures.
The operator is licensed by the Estonian Tax and Customs Board — license no. HKT000063 for organizing games of chance, license no.HKL000374 for organizing remote gambling, both issued in late 2021. This isn’t among the most popular or the strongest jurisdictions, despite it being a part of the EU — mainly due to the Estonian Tax and Customs Board’s passivity regarding issues brought to their attention.
Fruta Complaints and Track Record
Obviously, Fruta hasn’t been around long enough to establish a track record, so we’ve had no complaints about them yet. We did have a few minor complaints about High Roller over the years, but all were resolved and there were no major red flags to worry about. There are no outstanding issues with the parent company either.
