Casino Club Review

Miscommunications between players and members

Written By: Casinomeister | Last updated Nov 27, 2023 Affiliate Disclosure Affiliate Disclosure Our content contains affiliate links and, yes, we may earn a commission if you sign up or deposit through them. At Casinomeister, we’ve been an advocate of fair play since 1998 so you can rest assured we don’t endorse just anyone. We only back operators who are licensed, regulated, and have passed our no-nonsense vetting process. Gamble responsibly, know the rules, and make sure you’re of legal age in your country.

Casinomeister's Verdict

This once accredited casino decided to commit affiliate suicide by implementing retroactive predatory terms to its terms and conditions. To be precise – quotas. I asked the operator about this in person years ago, and I explained why this was unethical. His answer was merely that they could do what they want. Oh well. So much for their accreditation.

First Impression

Casino Club was once an Accredited Casino, but due to a couple of player issues in 2009 and miscommunications between them, the members, and us, they were placed into the Grey Zone. Casino Club’s affiliate program also initiated changes in their terms and conditions (specifically quotas) which they applied retroactively – that’s another reason why they were dropped. They have had a low profile since then.

Originally, when they launched – all the way back in 2001 – Casino Club ran on the Boss Media software platform. Throughout the years the online casino has undergone some changes, and today they make up part of the same group of brands that includes Coral, Ladbrokes and Gala. this may be off putting to some players.

Despite this, Casino Club tends to offer quite generous bonuses and promotions, they’ve formed partnerships with a wide variety of game developers and software providers – which is highly beneficial to players as it means there’s a ton of different games to play – and there’s a solid selection of live casino titles as well, which is always something we’re happy to see.

Find out more about the online casino here in our Casino Club review; to kick things off we’ll be taking a look at the various bonuses and promotions that are on offer to players.

Pros

  • IGT Games

Cons

  • Not accredited at Casinomeister

  • Payout speeds aren’t very fast

BONUSES AND PROMOTIONS

Casino Club offers quite a significant range of bonuses and promotions, and these casino bonuses are offered both to new and existing players at the online casino site. In the following section of our review of the online gambling site we’re going to be looking at both the main welcome bonus, along with other Casino Club bonuses.

CasinoClub Slot Tournaments

Today, relatively few online casinos still run tournaments – and Casino Club is one of the few online casino sites to still operate them. Casino Club offers a fairly decent selection of tournaments – although they don’t run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; at the time of writing this review, for example, there weren’t actually any tournaments running.

However, Casino Club operates a ‘tournaments’ page – and you simply need to head to this page and you’ll then be able to view a breakdown of the different tournaments that are currently running at the casino. You then can join any of the active tournaments, play selected games, collect points – and if you rank high enough you can then collect some pretty generous prizes!

Welcome Offer

All new players at Casino Club are eligible to claim their main welcome bonus – and in order to claim the welcome bonus a minimum deposit of $10 needs to be made. The welcome bonus at Casino Club is delivered in the form of a 100% matched deposit bonus, and one of the things that makes it such an appealing deposit bonus to players is the fact that the wagering requirements are only 20X.

This means players stand quite a decent chance of being able to cashout the bonus – and when compared to many of the bonuses and promotions you’ll see at other online casinos, Casino Club’s main welcome bonus promotion is actually pretty decent.

Almost all casino games and video slots contribute towards the wagering requirements; video slots contribute 100%, live slots contribute 50%, live dealer games contribute either 10% or 20% – and the only video slots which don’t contribute anything to the wagering requirements is Dead or Alive, Jokerizer and Palladium – presumably due to the win-potential they offer.

Casino Club also notes that players should refer to the general terms and conditions before claiming the deposit bonus – but as a general rule of thumb it seems to be pretty decent on paper.

No-Deposit & Free Spins Offers

Casino Club doesn’t offer a no-deposit bonus or any no deposit free spins at the time of writing. If this changes in the future we’ll be sure to update this online casino review accordingly.

VIP and Loyalty Programs

Casino Club doesn’t reveal a huge amount about its VIP program on its website – but they do state that VIP players, when eligible to join the program, will be contacted by a member of the casino’s VIP customer support team. As a VIP you can expect to get dedicated access to a VIP account manager, and you’ll also be entered into the special rewards program.

This sees you rewarded with exclusive bonuses and promotions, casino bonuses – and it can even include invitations and access to special events – something all of the best online casinos try to offer their VIPs in today’s day and age.

Drop & Wins by Pragmatic Play

It’s fairly well-known in today’s online gambling industry that Pragmatic Play is one of the world’s leading game developers and software providers – but what many players don’t know is that aside from creating great video slots and live dealer games, the game developer also runs some pretty generous tournaments – with BIG prize pools up for grabs.

One of these promotions Casino Club has partnered up with – and this sees the software provider offering a whopping $1,000,000 every single month in prizes – and it’s valid both for live casino games AND video slots, so there’s something for everyone!

It’s quite confusing on how the prizes are actually paid out – and if you’d like to learn more about this tournament and how you can potentially win prizes from it, check out the terms and conditions page at Casino Club’s website here.

Banking & Payment Methods

Casino Club allows players to make deposits and withdrawals in quite a few different ways – and you’ll be able to use all major debit and credit cards including VISA and MasterCard, along with Neteller, Skrill, ApplePay, Paysafecard, Sofort Banking and Trustly.

The minimum deposit for all payment methods – even Trustly and Sofort Banking – is just 10EUR and this is much less than we’d typically expect to see for bank transfers. All deposits are credited to your Casino Club account immediately, provided it’s completed on their end – so generally speaking you shouldn’t ever have to worry about a delay between making a deposit and the funds appearing in your account.

Withdrawal Speed

To give credit where credit’s due, Casino Club is actually pretty fast in processing withdrawals; they don’t specify any exact time-frames but from what we’ve been able to tell, from players, it doesn’t tend to take longer than 24 hours for withdrawals to be processed on the casino’s end.

The time it then takes for a withdrawal to reach your account then depends quite a lot depending on the withdrawal method you choose to use; 0-5 working days.

Responsible gaming

Unlike many other online casino review sites, here at Casinomeister, we take a keen interest in how an online casino is dealing with responsible gambling – and what kinds of responsible gambling tools they offer their players. We were pleased to see that Casino Club does indeed offer players a wide variety of responsible gambling tools, and all of these are self-managed.

You will find yourself able to use a number of responsible gambling tools, including deposit limits. Deposit limits allow you to limit the amount of money which you deposit into your account, and you can set this limit up on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Once you’ve reached your deposit limit you will no longer be able to make deposits.

If you feel as though your online gambling is getting a little out of control the online gambling operator also offers a time-out feature. If you use the time-out feature it will prevent you from logging into your account for a period of between 24 hours and 6 weeks. Once the time-out period is over, your account will be re-opened automatically.

For those who feel their gambling is becoming really problematic, there’s also a self-exclusion function. This is much like the time-out function, except it’s a long-term solution; self-exclusion bans your account for a minimum of 6 months, and it will not be automatically re-opened once the period of self-exclusion has expired.

Customer support

One of the first things that our online gambling reviewers look at when putting together a new online casino review is the customer support facilities on offer – and just because this section appears last in this Casino Club review, don’t be mistake; customer support is really important, and we would never recommend playing at a casino that doesn’t offer customer support round-the-clock.

Like all reputable online casinos today, Casino Club’s customer support team works during the daytime – between the hours of 8.00 and 0.00 CET. Unfortunately, they’re not yet working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The customer support team can help you in English or German. However, before you contact them it’s worth pointing out that Casino Club has a really versatile and well-made (comprehensive) FAQ section. This is found directly on their main support page.

Once you’ve loaded up the FAQ section, you’ll be able to browse through some of the most common questions and answers – and it’s so in depth you may well end up finding a solution to your query here. If, however, you still need to contact a member from the team you’ll be able to do so in three ways.

Firstly, there’s the live chat portal. Live chat is basically an online chat window. It works in a similar way to Facebook Messenger, and you’ll be able to speak with a customer support agent in real-time as you explain your problem or ask your questions. The agent will then talk back with you in real time to try and resolve your query.

If you’re unable to use live chat or prefer not to, you’ll be pleased to learn that Casino Club also offers support via email and phone; phone support is somewhat rare in today’s online gambling world, and it’s usually reserved only for the bigger casinos. It’s refreshing to see it offered at Casino Club, and it’s yet another sign that this is a brand you can trust.

KYC

ne of the trends you have probably noticed about this casino by now is that while in the past they used to be quite a reputable – indeed even an accredited – casino, today they’ve really let things slip, and one of the issues we hear quite a lot about from players is that know your customer checks are only really requested when it’s time for a withdrawal to be made.

It appears as though the online casino is happy for players to deposit much money as they can, and there will never be any know your customer checks during the process of making these deposits – but as soon as it comes to making a withdrawal you will be asked to provide a huge assortment of documentation, some of which is nearly impossible to provide.

What’s more, even when players do provide documentation the casino requests, we have heard of players waiting weeks for the documents to be verified – and in our opinion, this all sounds like a classic stalling technique designed to allow the casino to avoid having to pay out winnings and hoping that players, in the meantime, reverse their withdrawal request and end up gambling away their winnings.

While we totally understand that know your customer checks are requirements put in place by online gambling regulators, we simply do not feel there is any excuse for allowing players to deposit as much money as they can and only requesting them to undergo a verification check when it’s time to make a withdrawal

Website Experience and Features

One of the first things that we did when putting this casino review together, was creating an account on the site. Some casinos make it quite a lengthy process, but that was not the case here and we were able to create an account, verify our email, and make a deposit within three minutes.

The website itself is easy-to-use and easy to navigate, and we really like the fact that the game filter options allow you to sort through all of the different software providers, themes, and game types.

There is no dedicated mobile app available, but the casino is fully mobile optimized and this allows you to enjoy all of your favorite games from your mobile devices. To access the mobile casino, you simply need to open your mobile device’s Internet browser and head directly to the casino.

You will then be automatically redirected to the mobile friendly version of the site where you can login or create an account. There are hundreds if not thousands of games on offer within the mobile casino, and, like the desktop version of the site, we found it very fast and easy-to-use.

System Fairness

When we were writing this review of Casino Club we came across an interesting page that noted the following:

“We ensure the fairness of game play and pay-out through periodic analyses of the game outcomes. An external test lab conducts independent audits of game outcomes (output data). There are two types of game output audits: Return To Player (RTP) calculations and Random Number Generator (RNG) output analyses using the actual game data from the game servers. audits are generally done for multiplayer card games, dice games and ball games to ensure that the cards/dice/balls continue to be random.

For example, for an RNG audit of Poker games, the decks of cards dealt are extracted from the game logs and actual probability for various game related events (e.g., Royal flush, Straight flush, Dealer blackjack, Player blackjack) are calculated and compared against theoretical probabilities.”

This, to us, was actually quite promising – and one of the things we like is that on this page, Casino Club publishes monthly RTP reports as well. This means that you’re able to view exactly how much specific games have been paying out each month – and you can then compare these payouts against the expected RTP percentages they should align with.

However, we wrote this review in March, 2022 – and at the time of writing the last RTP report that was available for download was dated November, 2021. This does bring up some questions – most notably why there’s four months worth of reports missing – so this is something we’ll be keeping an eye on.

Brand games

Providers

Casino Club Casino offers casino games and video slots from a wide variety of different game developers and software providers. The vast selection of game developers on offer at the online casino ensures that you can always find – and play – the types of game you’re looking to enjoy, and this is one of the reasons why the online casino is so popular among players.

For example, at the time of writing you’ll find casino table games and video slots on offer from the following game developers: Big Time Gaming, Elk Studios, Evolution Gaming, Lightning Box Games, Microgaming, NetEnt, Play’n GO, Playtech, Pragmatic Play, Quickspin, Yggdrasil Gaming – and new software providers are always being added to the casino.

Slots

There’s plenty of video slots available to enjoy at Casino Club Casino, and below we’re going to look at a couple of the most popular games you’ll be able to play.

Dragonz is a 5-reel, 3-row video slot from Microgaming that uses a 243-ways-to-win mechanic. While it’s not one of the game developer’s most popular video slot releases, we found it displayed as one of the most popular games at the casino – and, in fairness, it’s actually quite a fun slot to try out for yourself. There’s quite a few bonuses and features, including four different variations of the main Free Spins bonus round, and there’s also a random base game feature, which adds a number of wild symbols to the reels!

Although it lacks some of the win-potential seen in many of NetEnt’s more recent video slots, Jack Hammer II is a crowd favorite among many players due to its thrilling bonus round – and there is some respectable win-potential to be found inside the bonus round. The bonus round is triggered by landing five scatter symbols somewhere in sight, and each spin adds one wild symbol to the reels, multiplying wins by 2X. All wins in the base game and the Free Spins bonus round are sticky win spins, which means the reels keep spinning until no more winning symbols are locked in position!

There’s a handy search function which allows you to easily and quickly sort through all of the online slots you can find at Casino Club Casino, and this means you don’t have to worry about needing to manually trawl through the selection on offer.

Live Dealer Games

Casino Club uses the industry leading game developer to power their live dealer casino; Evolution Gaming. Evolution Gaming is the undisputed market leader when it comes to developing live dealer games, and their state-of-the-art technology has won a number of awards. Their games can be found at thousands of different online casinos around the world, and their high-definition video streams work flawlessly on both desktop and mobile devices.

We were happy to see that Evolution Gaming’s full live casino game portfolio was available at Casino Club, and this means that you will be able to enjoy playing a huge variety of titles. For example, you’ll find casino classics like Roulette and Blackjack, along with a number of poker inspired games and even game show games. The latter of these categories includes the now infamous Crazy Time, Monopoly Live and Football Studio Live.

One of the things that we love most about Evolution Gaming is the fact that they have so many different tables and rooms, you can usually find a game that fits your budget. For example, many of their Blackjack tables allow you to bet from as little as one dollar per hand, and some of their Roulette tables allow you to place chips worth as little as $0.10.

Table Games

When it comes to their casino table games, Casino Club doesn’t offer the largest selection of games in the world – and their live dealer casino is much better stocked than the virtual games they offer. Still, you will find yourself able to play a fairly decent array of games, and when it comes to roulette you’ll find five different games; Casino Club roulette pro, classic roulette, mega fire blaze roulette and premium roulette European.

Their blackjack offering is a little smaller – with just four games to choose from – and this includes Casino Club blackjack pro, blackjack fortune spinner pro, premium blackjack – and what looks to be an exclusive variation of the game.

Despite Casino Club stating that they do offer video poker we were unable to find any. They do, however, offer a few other casino table games which includes Texas Hold’em, 3-card-poker, baccarat, and some instant win games.

Progressive jackpots

Look at the main navigation menu on Casino Club’s website and you’ll see a tab marked ‘jackpot slots’. This is where you’ll find all of the different progressive jackpots available from Casino Club, and they’re nicely organized into different sections. For example, the top-most section is the ‘top games’ tab and this is where you’ll find the most popular progressive jackpot games at the online casino.  For example, some of the titles here include Viking Riches, Luck of the Jackpot, Storms of Ice, Mega Fortune Wheel and Better Wilds: Power Play Jackpot.

To our surprise, Casino Club has actually got quite a few different exclusive progressive jackpot games – and some of these have progressive jackpots worth millions of dollars, so this shows that they’re capable of actually forming partnerships with some major developers of slot games!

About the Team and History

Casino Club has been around since 2001 – making it one of the longest-running online gambling websites in the world. When it first launched it was known for running on the now-defunct Boss Media platform. This was a really popular piece of software provider – especially for players who liked to play roulette, as it offered a really large selection of roulette games to choose from.

Today, however, Casino Club is owned and operated by the huge online gambling company Entain PLC – the company behind some of the world’s biggest online gambling websites like Ladbrokes, BWIN, Gala, Coral and SportingBet. Unfortunately, the larger the group, the less dedication it appears they give to players – and this certainly seems to be the case with Casino Club’s owners and operators.

However, to their credit, Casino Club seems to still keep a certain level of independence – and as one of the world’s longest running regulated online casinos – they’re well-licensed. They hold an online gambling license from the Malta Gaming Authority. The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) is a pretty strict online gaming regulator that operates in Europe, and they are known to take quite a strict stance when it comes to regulating their operators.

Complaints and Track Record

There’s a mixture of good AND bad reviews about the online casino here in the forums – and let’s take a look at one of the positives, from a member called Lockinlove:

“I’ve never cashed out from these guys and I haven’t lost that much with their group. Total is probably somewhere around $700.

However, Casino Rewards have given me quite a few free chips via email over the past 4 months. Usually once or twice a month I’ll get $10 or $20. This morning they gave me a $100 free chip. I ended up making wagering and am cashing out just over $200 but I would have to say, from what I see they are the more generous group out there.

Will have to see how their cashout process is. I may end up playing with these guys a little more. Im looking for an MG casino to move my play to anyways as fortune lounge is pretty bad with their loyal players. Probably the worst I’ve come across.”

And here’s another forum members, Jasminebed, who said:

“I’ve played with them for years. Pending times are long, and if you get a freechip while you have wagering from the last match, it carries over.

Make sure to clear it down to zero if you do take a match before taking another.

Overall, a good group if you are okay with longer pending times. And good support for Canadian deposit and withdrawal methods.

I’ve played CR longer than I have been a Casinomeister member. I’ve reversed winnings due to the longer pending periods though, so you do require a bit of discipline. But they have adhered to their timeframe, and I find support is pretty good overall, which I would not have said 5 or 6 years back.

I do think you are best to concentrate your play over just two or three of their sites in terms of loyalty benefits. But most of the properties have good SUBs, just don’t take all of them in a short span if you enjoy bonus play.

Trustworthy group for sure, as long as you adhere to rules. Bonus terms are not identical at every casino regarding max bet on every bonus, so be sure to click appropriate links. They tend to be fairly liberal though at 25 – 33% of deposits mostly.”
