Brushing up on security
December 3 - 4 sees the gathering of experts at the
Emerging Markets & Products for Online Gaming Summit in
Kensington, with a significant anti-fraud component.
Iovation, gearing itself up for big things following the
recent hefty investment from Intel Corporation will be
on dech to show delegates its latest and greatest
products in the fight against online fraud and abuse in
the online gaming industry. The International Fraud
Panel is proving to be a big draw, too with plans to
address the challenges of combating crime in the new
markets. The panel will discuss new legislation,
counterbalancing fraud against stringent procedures, and
what new technologies and systems are currently
available to help online gaming sites reduce fraud and
money laundering.
Montreal in summer
Looking a little further ahead, the 10th Annual Global
Interactive Gaming Summit and Expo will be held 3 - 5
June 2008 at the Palais de Congres in Montreal.
While the industry has spent the past year adjusting
with major policy changes around the world, things are
settling down and companies are finding clarity and
gravitating toward regulated markets in a variety of
regions around the world.

stops to make the 2008 event something special, and
