It all started with few small casino adventures, which all ended really good ( i wish i lost every single penny those few first times).
Gradually it became an obsession.Money has no value for me now.
I'm a student and I can't think of anything else but gambling.I became anti-social,quit all my other hobbies and fell into this misery.
Just lost a part of my parents money which someone sent to them. And lost my share of that money which they didnt even know that person gifted to me.I dont know how to say to them tomorrow that I lost it.
I feel like I can't continue doing this, ruining myself and others around me. I'm not sure if I would agree to see a psychiatrist or sth like that, but I don't know if I have the strength to quit this all by myself.Any advices?

Telling them is the first step. I think it will make you realize that you have no control over your actions when it comes to gambling.

You have to admit to yourself that you can't be trusted with money for now... Gambling without control always leaves to absolute fuck all. You can always come back from a lost but sometimes the only way yo come back is to stop completely.

What's the point of pushing buttons and betting all sorts of bets if you know you will always burn every penny you touch?

Tell your parents. Cry. Be ashamed. Get back on your feet and keep the painful memories.

You are a still a student... Don't waste your life please.

Sorry to hear about your situation.

First, you are not alone. There are so many other people that are in the same situation and there is always a way out.

1. Self Exclude from all online casinos you have registered an account
2. Self Exclude from all land based casinos personally
3. Block access to any online gambling site by installing www.gamblock.com on your computer
4. Confess to your parents, not only that you lost the money, but also that your are an addicted gambler!!! They will do their best to help, i am sure
5. Talk to a good friend and agree to meet up a few times a week to discuss your progress
6. If no friend is available, then call Gambler Anonymous Croatia and let them guide you: +385 91 754 35 34

Come back here if you need more moral support or advice. And do that before you gamble again :)

Keeping my fingers crossed Metmen

You are sooooo young and got soooooo much ahead of you, don't waste those opportunities by gambling all your money away. IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!!!

Some good advice there but I disagree with the part in bold. Coming into a gambling forum full of tempataion is a bit of a step backward.
Take some of the above advice and contact the administrator here asking to put you into the Quit Gambling section, which limits what you can see.
His name is Bryan and he can be found here>https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/members/1/
Send him a pm asking to be moved to the Quit Gambling section of the forum.

Sorry, that is indeed unclear. I was meaning to come back to this thread as he will always have access to this own thread.

I have already informed Bryan to move or at least offer to move him to the non-gambling section.

So you lost control? We are only human, that's what gambling takes advantage of. Talk to you'r father, show some respect!

I understand where you're coming from :( We've all been there, if not.. You will in time.

Gambling has it's ups and downs but listen to the saying "The house ALWAYS wins" which, in my experience is very much true! I've not stopped gambling myself but I have limited myself to what I spend and where I play. I went from being on over 150+ online casinos to around 10 online casinos.

Like others had said, excluding yourself from casinos is the best way to stop.. You can ask to excluded yourself up to 5 years! The casinos I have stayed with now have deposit limits that I set myself, maybe one or two haven't but.. If you don't win the first time around on that day.. STOP !! When the "Fun" stops.. STOP !!

It's wrong that you gambled using someones money without asking to lend, but.. We all do stupid things in life and all we can do is admit it.

I hope you get the help you need to move away from this problem and get back on track :)

Gambling can be an awful addiction. My favorite hairdresser who I thought of as a real good friend just got fired. You never would have known it but she was stealing from the till at night and going to the local casino after work. For a while it was working -- steal, win and replace. Well, we all know how it will end. She kept thinking she could win it back after going on a severe losing streak. Got away with it for about a year and half. Her fiancee dumped her, she lost her job, and lost respect from the whole community and her kids. Got arrested and taken away in handcuffs in front of her co-workers and people in the neighbourhood. Anyway, it is sad when it ruins your life which ultimately it will if you have a strong addiction towards it.

Let it go if you cannot control it. It is not worth losing your self respect over or commiting suicide over which I have heard of many cases in Niagara Falls with the casino being nearby. If you cannot treat it as fun and entertainment, then it is not something you should dabble in.

Good luck.
