As some of you may be aware, I recently won a VIP trip to Malta courtesy of Videoslots casino. The trip is planned to happen in August of this year, when the weather (hopefully!) is going to be kind to us.

Part of the trip is the opportunity to meet a representative of Scientific Games who develop slots under the TwinStar, Bally, WMS, Shuffle Master and Barcrest brands.

I will also have the opportunity to ask questions off Videoslots casino.

So here is an opportunity to contribute with questions that you may have yourself for either Scientific Games or Videoslots.

The questions I am going to ask the Scientific Games representative are:

(1) Are you planning to put back the auto play button for UK players?
(2) WMS used to make games available for home play. Are you planning to do the same for popular titles such as Raging Rhino, Ruby Slippers and Montezuma?
(3) Specifically for Super Monopoly money, the question is to spin the wheel or not? Is the pay-out part of the overall games RTP?
(4) What new releases are you planning for the online market? Are any of the B&M casino games planned to go online?

Please feel free to add you own (sensible of course!) questions and I'll fire them away during the meeting.

This is awesome! I think you'll be impressed with the offices at Videoslots - very nice.

I hope you'll have some time to see the sites there as well. It's a really interesting place.

Just a quick note to say that I just returned from a 5 night trip to Malta courtesy of Videoslots.

We were looked after really well by the team, especially Kenny, Kim and Alex.

Will do a more detailed report over the next few weeks.

Part of the trip to Malta was meeting up with a representative of Scientific Gaming. Unfortunately, this didn't happen but I was given the contact details and managed to get some questions answered. There are a few gaps that I owe answers to, so I will fill these in as soon as I receive them.

Here it goes:

When is the auto play button going to make a return for the UK players? Other providers such as Netent have complied to UK regulations, so why can't WMS?

Answer to follow

Specifically referring to the slot "Super Monopoly Money", are the bonus wheel winnings included in the overall TRTP of the slot?

Yes they are

Following up from this question, would you spin the wheel or take the guaranteed winning?

I am a gambler at heart so would always spin the wheel

Are you intending to release some of the more popular Monopoly games that are in the brick and mortar casino's online?

We have 2 new titles upcoming in 2017, more details will follow in terms of what game studios will develop the games, most likely they will come from WMS and the Barcrest game studios

When it comes to picking features on your games, is the result pre-determined and it really doesn't matter what you pick?

Answer to follow

When a casino sends data to your server on each spin, what data is exactly transmitted (there are some "tin foil hat theories" that bet size and account balance is included)

Answer to follow

You (WMS) used to release slot games for PC play. Are you planning to do the same for some of the more popular titles such as Raging Rhino, Montezuma and Ruby Slippers?

Answer to follow

From data received by your servers, what are the top 3 most played online games in terms of number of spins?

Raging Rhino, Rainbow Riches and 88 fortunes (this changes regularly)

Could you give us a sneak preview of any forthcoming games that you are planning to release online?

I would be happy to share an upcoming game sheet, most likely in October.

Recently, there have been many more country restrictions where your games are not able to be played (Thailand springs to mind). What are the reasons for these restrictions and is it likely that any countries that are currently restricted are going to be de-restricted again?

This is a slow process, compliance weighs up the risks and advises us accordingly, part of the decision is made around protecting our lottery business.

Harry, the representative, is more than happy to answer any further questions, so please post them in this topic and I will do my best to get them for you.

Some very questions you tabled but shame they chose the "answer to come" on what I feel are the most important ones .eg. pre determined outcomes - auto play etc

reaching for my Tin Foil hat as I speak :eek2:

but good report!

I have some more answers. Thank you Scientific Gaming for answering the remaining questions. Just the one question that could not be answered:

When is the auto play button going to make a return for the UK players? Other providers such as Netent have complied to UK regulations, so why can't WMS?

This is an on-going project, no timelines as yet but it will make a comeback.

When a casino sends data to your server on each spin, what data is exactly transmitted (there are some "tin foil hat theories" that bet size and account balance is included)

What we get is the bet amount and balance to ensure the player has the balance to cover the wager and for no other reason. We also receive the players ID number, we do not receive any personal details of the player as those details are held by Videoslots although this differs between suppliers.

No Plans

Could you give us a sneak preview of any forthcoming games that you are planning to release online?

There was just the one questions (whether picking features are pre-determined or not) that he was not allowed to answer. I wouldn't necessarily conclude this is because it is dodgy or so.
