We’re changing our bonuses for the better!
Hi,

We’re changing the way our bonuses work, for the better!

Previously, both real funds as well as bonus funds contributed toward the wagering requirements of bonuses. While this allows you to immediately begin wagering toward the requirement of the bonus, it also meant that we had to apply hefty wagering requirements to bonuses in order to keep them sustainable.

To rectify this, we’ve gone for something simpler – an ‘extra chance’ bonus.

So, how does this work? Just two things change going forward.

1. Only bonus funds contribute toward the wagering requirement of a bonus.
2. Wagering requirements will be lowered across the board.

Pretty simple, right?

This change will take effect at 12:00 CET on Tuesday afternoon, and all bonuses which are active from then onwards will have the new feature applied, where only bonus funds will contribute toward the bonus. We’re working with players to make sure that as few bonuses as possible will be active at the time of the swap, but we will be here to assist with swapping over your bonus manually with less wagering requirements should the change effect you.

Good move IMHO - I like the RP bonus system and it's good to see it finds the first imitators.

Not really true.

They wrote that only Bonusmoney will contribute towards wagering while RP only have Cash contributing.
It is the same as Vera&John though.

Would be my personal nightmare to see that system at betat.

Lets wait what the WR will be but i like the VR system so these are good news even if i liked their old system as well.

Hey bowki, thanks for your input. Honestly I liked their old system better - however I'm fine with the "new" system. When it's something around 35-40x bonus I'm ok with it.

Great news! BETAT Casino and Slotty Vegas will from tomorrow 8th March start using a new bonus engine. Since 2011 both brands have been running a segregated bonus model, with real funds and bonus funds being separated from each other, with both real funds and bonus funds contributing toward the wagering requirement of all bonuses. Whereas we have always proclaimed that this is the fairest model, we have had to apply more stringent wagering requirements in order to ensure that the bonuses do not result in positive expectancy for the players, resulting in a competitive disadvantage in terms of wagering requirement amounts.

We have conducted a competitive analysis of bonus structures and contribution factors across some of our main competitors, with the target of adopting a bonus contribution structure that will allow us to lower wagering requirements, create a more user friendly bonus structure, as well as a straightforward, documented and advertised cashback program for BETAT Casino, alongside Slotty Vegas Supercharged. We have now settled upon a segregated model, whereby only bonus funds will contribute toward bonuses given.

Current Bonus Structure: Segregated Model, Real + Bonus Contribution to Wagering Requirements

New Bonus Structure: Segregated Model, Only Bonus funds contribute Wagering Requirements

Well, was it wasn't EV+ anyway. Basically means you can't cash the bonus out as well if you win on your cash balance and make a withdrawal from it while also meeting WR you forfeit the bonus anyway, whereas before you kept it. You'll have to lose your deposit in order to cash the bonus out.
