i am totally screwed - somewhen signed up at that group. since then i get approximately 50 phonecalls EVERY DAY.

no way to stop them since it is a computer automatically calling and telling you about their shabby bonus offers when you pick up.

will change number now since the blocker still makes a noise and it annoys so much.

that group is terrorizing - never tell them your data.

That would be classed as harassment here and the phone company would block the number free of charge if they considered it so, plus report the matter. If it is your mobile phone there is a program/app I have called 'Calls Blacklist' which is free. Once installed this rogue number can be added, and the phone simply won't ring or vibrate but go straight to answerphone. You'll simply get a discreet notification n your menu bar with a report of the number blocked and time of the dead calls.
