What has been your " Oh crap" moment? Mine was a few years ago when I first started playing. I won 14k at Music Hall Casino. I had to wait the 48 hrs before they would start processing it. I played it out like a fool. I kept telling myself that I wouldn't have ever got it any ways, Thats my story and I'm sticking to it :p. I know better now.LoL

Whoops. Somebody's self control got out of hand. :p
I've had a lot of regrets especially when playing 21 Blackjack. When your card is already on 18 and you still hit the "Hit" button. Oh Crap.

Won £40k at Videoslots (including £29k on one spin on Leagues of Fortune). Got bored with the monthly withdrawal limit and managed to lose half of it. Grrrrr.

Regrets?

Wow it sounds like you are your own worst enemy? I have played out some wins myself but that much never.Maybe you need to find another casino to play at or perhaps take stock and do something else all together? I play a game on Facebook that is fun and keep,s my mind off of the money that i,am waiting for.The game is Dead Trigger and its a great game to play as you kill zombies and you also play for cities and blueprint,s and you build up money and weapon,s its a hoot and it help,s me a great deal if that is not your cup of tea? Well then just find something else to do.Control is one of the biggest problem,s in this field of play. It border,s on not doing what your little voice in your head is telling you to do. It,s easier said than done and we have all had some form of it i believe, maybe a few who have not but most have had a form of it.It,s bother some and it can get to you, but if getting to spend the money you win is more important! Then you will learn to stop when your ahead and not touch the winning,s and if you believe that you would not have been paid anyway. Then find a casino that honor,s it,s player,s winning,s. The best of luck to ya and i will keep my finger,s crossed for you also.Peace Out! Out Of The Mist! shewoff

Sounds like another Canadian's story we have been "entertained" with over the last week: https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/kevinhopf-vs-royal-vegas.70002/?t=70002
Because the casino made an error and put the withdrawals back in his account, he also thought he would never see the money and gambled away more then DOUBLE what you lost!
With just a little bit of patience and self-control, he would have been paid every single penny of his progressive win. So sad :(

As for my "oh crap" moment - I've had a lot of those (almost on a monthly basis) when I have got my balance up to 4, 5 or even more x my starting balance and then failed to hit the cash-out button. But NEVER anything on the scale you are talking about :eek2:

Only one springs to mind and will 'Haunt' me forever....

Hitting that 5-Reel Wild Storm (£2,430 (8100x)) and having a peak balance of over 2.6K

Instead of thinking 'Wow withdraw most of it and for the one and only time in your life you will be able to do it, have a few hi-roller type bets' - If you lose £100 so what! have 30-40 £3 spins on Immortal R.

Nope, withdrew, left a small amount to play and hit £167 Sarah win on IR, literally 20-30 spins into the game. (0.30p bet!!!!)

Had I 'gone for it' would have been another 1.67K!!!!

Guess it shows excellent self control but that's what I tell myself to ease the pain.

LoL.Mine was when I first started playing, We have all made rookie mistakes and still do at times. That was the purpose of my thread. :)

The first time I ever played online, back in 2004 at Ladbrokes, I hit a Royal Flush for £1,600 on Deuces Wild. I went to the slots, found a game called "Thunderstruck" and proceeded to blow the lot at £.4.50 a spin.

My biggest regret is not blowing the £1,600. It's the fact that I chose to play that bastard Thunderstruck and it's still screwing me over 11 years later

11 years back, I met the missus.:eek2:

Some years ago I made a 200 Euro deposit, played BJ and went up to 4800. Then I played a little bit more and my cashout was 200 Euros.

Had nightmares for weeks. But learned a lot.:oops::oops:

Mine was when I first started, Had a near 3k win, Less than about £50 ever deposited, I put over a grand back in on raised bets, I cannot remember exact what I spent but I was using paypal as payment and thought they would of took a chunk, As not had a withdraw before I did not no that it would of been free to withdraw and only took a few hours,

2nd was on holiday and about 13 - 14 year old and took my mate with me, After the holiday my dad was sorting out the car and gave me a £5 and said I want half back, So to the machines it was, So I was down to my last 50p or so from the whole £5  I thought I am in shit now than a £3 win came in, I was excited so instead of nudging the 3rd reel down first I nudged the 2nd reel in and gave me a poxy 20p,

Had to sell my mate half of my motor bike so I could give my dad the £2.50 back, Good mate aye, Best thing is that when I got in the car I forgot about my dads half and he never did ask for it,

My old honda H 100 ;) I was about 13 -14

@sledge13. Feel exactly like you. Wish I never started but as you say it is addictive and I love playing them. Have learned to limit myself so I do go without playing for weeks at a time. When free spins get sent out I'm happier then a pig in shit during those dry spells.

Regrets ive had a few

2013 playing at jacjpot city i deposited $20 then played summer time got up to a grand had to go for drive with misses by the time we got there i had ten grand and for next few days i keeped winning i ended up with $170 000 i then showed my misses that u collect like this but never hit the last button..but that was the end of my winning..i was playing up to $500 a push and i keeped playing for a week..i played it all down..with the bonus points i got $2800 from them got up to $15000 off them but blew it as well..then i contacted support told them my story trying to get a bonus and they said we dont give bonuses for that kind of play...i had the game max damage up to the very last boss..i was playing $2 a bullet and it took tens of thousands to get to that point then every time i went to Play it
.all i got was error message..then i got an email from support saying that my account was locked..the accounting department decided this..i contacted support they said they wont even discuss it..end of story...since ive never got above ten grand...it hurt for a year or so..or when im broke..

OMFG that is the worst gambling story I've ever heard!
(Worst outcome I mean - not the way you told it!)

OK, so I suppose you have to look at it like you only lost $20 - but boy that must sting!

Mine was a few short days ago I was playing at BUZZLUCK made a $40.00 no bonus deposit and played Crystal Ball and damn i was up to $500.00 and then the connection was broken :( and i had to get signed out and I do know better but instead of cashing out with a good win. I upped the bet to $6.25 and lost it all!!!!! I kicked and beat myself for 2 day,s and now about 10 days,s later it is still painful to write down here. Oh well it is the nature of the beast. I regret every time I play Break the Bank. That game can kill hours of hard work in a matter of minutes, and in my case, it normally does. I now look at BTB in the same way older test batsmen look at the pull shot, it's sweet when it comes off but not worth losing your wicket over.
