Hello,

So I share an account with my girlfriend (paypal) and her card is attached to the account. I was informed after 20 days of depositing with the paypal account that I would not be able to withdraw as the card attached to the account is not in my name. Fair enough, but they also do not want to return the deposits.

Their excuse for this is simply, "Well you did a dispute on us, so we are not returning the deposits, otherwise we would." What happened here was I placed a chargeback with another company and i placed it on bgo by accident (before the whole withdrawal debacle) and I cancelled it as soon as I saw the error. Just to add, this genuinely was a mistake and was related to a charge coming out my paypal that we did not recognise.

Now I know they are accredited here and no doubt people will defend them because I used my girlfriend's card, but I find it extremely convenient that they will not return the deposits (over 200) yet was happy to take as much as I deposited. Despite never being able to withdraw.

What are my options here? Because despite my paypal mishap, I feel disrespected. Other casinos have gladly returned deposits back if I was not allowed to game there. I honestly believe what BGO are doing is stealing money. Considering if I was to withdraw, I wasn't allowed to have it.

Shared accounts and chargebacks.

Nuff said for me.

What do you expect? You've brought the situation on yourself. Even if you're 100% genuine they're well within their rights to respond as they have.

The lack of empathy for such situations is the problem with today's gambling. Thus is why they get away with being shady. Yes they are in their rights to refuse my gaming, but to take my deposits when there was no way that I would be able to withdraw is just shady business.

Other casinos have refunded my deposits. Before you mention chargeback please actually read what I put. The mistake has been recorded via Paypal has I called them up shortly after the mistake, this happened before I deposited again on the casino so was in no relation to it. I'm sure if they had an issue with it they would have prevented me from playing there but they didn't.

If they are truly well within their rights, I am certainly concerned at how they can be trusted despite casinos being known for abusing player's rights. It doesn't take a genius to see this happens on a daily basis, the forum is full of it.

How can you ever get into the situation where you are getting your deposits back because you're not allowed to play there?

Surely, reading up on the T's and C's to ensure your legible to play should stop that?

Sure, I should. I'm not saying I'm in the right. I'm saying that keeping deposits when I was not able to withdraw is just very shady. Luckily, they won't get away with it. I'll make sure of it.

I guess you're planning a chargeback anyway then?

I hope you realize that if you do you will also be banned from this forum?
You will not be the first one so go and read the rules.

No, why do people on here assume so much? I love how you jump automatically to chargeback and multiple accounts theories. Which is not true btw, we only share a Paypal together. No, I write for a certain UK media outlet, so I would just write an article on the shadiness of these gambling sites. Not specific to my experience, but it will influence it. You forget that sites such as BGO rely on good reputation and when they start messing around with the players, they will get bad reputation. And yes, I have the means to provide the public with the truth, so I shall. They deserve to know that it isn't just all fun and games. That they use their unfair T's and C's on you, and the way they treat you almost like a criminal for wanting to withdraw. Not to mention the other shady stuff that does go on behind the scenes. BGO will know what I am talking about, I got a lovely PM on here from a fellow that was denied his winnings because of his race. It's interesting indeed.

Whether I am banned on here, that's absolutely fine. I'm just sharing my experience with people who have empathy for the situation.

I understand why you are not happy with this situation, but the thing is that, it is your fault to use the pyapal account that your GF card is attached.

Sure, it would be nice if the casino returns your deposit, but even if they don't they have every right not to. and every single casino has same T & C, regarding to this matter.

As I said, I understand why you are upset, but unfortunately there is nothing you can do to get deposit back. All you can do is to make sure that you don't use that paypal account any more on any online casino from now on.

Seriously? race card? so did you ask your fellow why he/she didn't submit PAB or post the thread here?

I'm sure that Casinomeister will make the casino disappear from the accredited section faster than lightening if the casino doesn't pay the withdrawal based on the player's race.

That's fine that the blame is placed on me. I'm just saying that's extremely convenient for them. I'm also saying that it is shady business to not return deposits if there was no chance to withdraw. What concerns me is that "tough luck, you are in the wrong" mentality of some people here. Call this a Bitch & Moan if you want. But I know other reputable casinos that wouldn't dream of doing something like this due to the bad reputation they would receive. It looks like BGO do not care about this. Which is fine, but it will affect them regardless, because people want to trust casinos and have confidence in getting paid without any shadiness.

I did originally ask the chat if I was able to withdraw and stated it was a shared paypal account. To which they said it was fine, but I was later corrected by another support agent after 20 days of depositing that I would not be able to withdraw because it is a shared paypal account. That's another thing that really grinds my gears.

As for the fellow whom mentioned his race, well it's not like I would use that story unless it was fully verified. I'm just referring to people that have messaged me with the various issues with BGO.

You know, BGO used to be great. But they are under new management and it shows. However, thanks for understanding, I still will not let this go. It is in my petty nature to make sure that shady dealings like this are exposed. The company I work for have over 3 million active readers, so I just hope I can help someone not make the same mistake in using this company.

First come the allegations then come the threats.

You want people to back you up so you can effectively demand your money back or damage their reputation.

I don't hold them in particularly high esteem but I will always react against someone behaving as you are. We see it in here quite frequently.

In my years of playing online i've never had an issue because I use my own accounts and accept my losses. I suggest you do the same.

Oh, and if this DOES ever appear on some UK media "outlet", you can be sure some of us will see it and ensure this thread it shown in the comments and supplied to the editor.

Not sure many will be happy to employ someone attempting to bully an organisation in the repugnant way you are.

I do hope CM bans you as i think your attitude stinks.

Okay I will always give people the benefit of the doubt. If everything you said in first post was true then easiest solution would have been to file a PAB on here and if you were right then deposits should be returned.

Casinos don't take kindly to people doing chargebacks but if it was a genuine mistake and cancelled before you got any money back shouldn't be a problem.

But for casino to say you did a chargeback so you aren't getting deposits back or you would have makes it sound like the chargeback went through. Have you got a copy of that reply from casino.

Anyway like I said I would give the benefit to player even if hes technically at fault for depositing using his GF's paypal card tho if its a joint paypal account then maybe it should be okay if you proved it was both your names on the account.

But benefit of the doubt started to go when you used the Race card. Sorry but theres no way in hell the casino would have told any player they weren't getting paid because of race. Its a major company and the crap they would be in for something like that's unreal. If indeed anyone told you that then you should know right away it was a lie and even trying to mention it just makes this thread trash.

Then you post you work in media and have 3 million readers so you will make the casinos actions public. Lol sorry but no way after posting this on a forum will that ever happen.

I can imagine the editors reaction when a member of staff writes an article about a large casino after falsely accusing them on a forum of being racist and all the rest that's posted. I am sure they would be willing to let the story run knowing shortly they would be in court getting sued for slander.

@ asparkes15 - have you read the "Zero Tolerance" policy concerning posting complaints here? Have you contacted the casino rep as required?

Also, I will need you to forward this PM to me where a member is claiming to have had his winnings negated because if his race. I need this ASAP. Thank you.

It appears that they have decided to give me the deposits back. Which I am grateful for. Management got in touch with me and apologised. This thread can be deleted if need be. Casinomeister, I will send you over a pm regarding the member that sent me that information.

They've already received a copy of this one.

If i hear from you again the police will also hear from me and i'm sure they'll find you fairly easily from BGO and William Hill.

Well, the OP has proven to be not only a troll, but an asshole troll.

When someone hides behind an anonymous username to make physical threats, that is the epitome of cowardice, and he becomes a fast-track ticket holder of "the boot" ride.

The guy has a history of trollish behavior. I hope he does publish an article at whatever rag he writes for; I'm sure his boss would appreciate this thread.

I hope people noticed that he never answered my question - in other words he is the type of individual who believes that agreed upon rules apply to others. It seems this is a theme in the other threads he has participated in.

Adios, dude.

What a strange author he was........ "see, glad, back, to, him, the, of " come to mine....(rearrange if you can be arzzed.)

Wasn't the first post I had in mind! ha ha.

Howdy everyone.

What an absolute nob he was! And to send such crap to you! Funny these kinds of threats ... usually come from those with a "real" pair!

Glad he was given the boot!
