How I paid £53 for a£5 bonus!!!!!!!!!!!


OK, deposited £20 at Spin Genie. Down to last 1.30 and get full screen 10's Twin Spin. Play on a bit and w/d £129.15 Oh good! A w/d!

So withdrew my balance. As some will be aware Spin Genie is the only site I have ever seen that doesn't take the w/d from your balance and auto-cancels it should you play on with a bit you've left, then exceed that amount. This alone is an anomalous and IMO rogue practice.

So I had a accumulated a £5 reward with 30x play-through. I clicked on this and to my horror realised the cash w/d was auto-cancelled as I had to spend £150 CASH to cash this 'bonus' in!

In panic I tried to cancel the bonus, no facility.

So I had to play £150 worth of goes in order to re-withdraw. Needless to say the game turned to rat-shit and gave me 67% RTP for this £150. I finally cashed-out £76.60.

I got caught with exactly the same bullshit! Even wrote a thread here on this very subject! I took one of those crappy prizes you accrue along the way .... 5 quid same as you and my pending withdraw bang was stopped. I was lucky as managed to get through the play through with no damage done. But It is a really shit bad set up. I complained to them and was basically told to do one. So my response. Account closed they will never see another penny from me.

Other thing also it resets the withdraw waiting time back to zero.

My advise to anyone wanting to squander the kids xmas fund is dont do it at spingenie. A truly shite set up and one I will not deposit at again.
Glad you managed to salvage some of your coin. But its bad all round and the system is defo set to trip a person up. Dip into pending withdraws by one penny and bam your reversed.

Yes, that makes me feel even worse, forgot all about that!

They actually rang me today and said they will process today the ORIGINAL withdrawal amount so all well and good there. I am told the system that allows this was inherited when they took the site over and will be quite complex to change, although they are going to get it done. When I don't know.

I the meantime don't take ANY FS or bonuses until your w/d has been processed and if you do, contact CS to remove the bonus as there is no facility to do it yourself. Will let you know if/when I receive original w/d.

You can however still take a bonus why you have a pending withdraw but take note it will use your cash first, So if you withdraw 100 and take a bonus leaving you with 110 cash and 5 bonus, You can play the the cash balance down to 100 but this is where it comes complicated as albeit your balance might say 105 you have to remember that 5 will be the bonus and if you hit below the the 100 (105 with the 5 bonus) than the pending is auto reverse, Not only this but you have now got a wager to clear,

Other than that its not a bad site, The rep is great and always answers message, The reward system is pants, You can clear that in one session

I have not had a deposit in a while, I do not get as many emails as used to, But always paid on time without worry
