Ok so I signed up to hippodrome casino some while back, Just received an email about 100% bonus and 50 free spins, I chucked a £10 in to test as when I first signed up they offerd 100 spins to find out it was reduced lines to 10,

Any way I checked and the checky buggers have reduced line to just 5 lines? Absulute horrible behavour from a casino, I ask where was the terms about only being 5 line, Answer

Craig: Alright now those spins given to you was just part of the welcome offer.
Terry: Yes but only 5 lines is a bit rude
Craig: This is predetermined due to its part of the welcome bonus
Terry: Ok, fair enought, I go try my luck, Thank you for time

Could not direct me to the terms about only 5 lines because there is none

Not the first time, we've had as low as 1 line on the 100-line Cashapillock before believe it or not.
Quite simply casinos that pull this stunt are not far short of scum IMO. ANY casino that did this to me (fortunately none so far) would find me closing the account forthwith. If they feel fit to take the piss out of depositors, they don't deserve them.

That would certainly piss me off! Never trusted that site. Had to cancel the account as I was getting texts constantly and the promos were too lucrative. I just hope you whoop their ass and win big Terry!

Nope. Busted out in record time as per, I had a gut feeling that they was going to be reduced lines but that was my last deposit for a few weeks now so even more determined to stick it out a while, Machines have dried me out and need a few house improvements doing,

Theres no excuse for it, If so than they should state this in the terms,

For you experts out there is this misleading term? Would the advertising agency have something to say about this? Not that I am to bothered as just not getting another 1p of me,

Also why I am not playing I am going to go threw all sites and clean my list once and for all :)

...is this misleading term?

What it does is raise a player's expectations to a level that can't be met which is an odd decision for an experienced marketing department to make in my opinion. Free spins has been a very successful acquisition tool for casinos but gradually they are stretching it to the point where it becomes ineffectual and guess who'll be the first to act surprised when it's not working any more?

I have encountered a couple of these reduced line ones a long time ago and my immediate reaction was anger in that I had been duped into logging on. From that point on I have never even bothered logging in for free spins unless it specifically told me in the email what the value of each spin was (ie: it was worth the effort!) and I doubt I am alone.

Like Mr Burns said, 'Don't poo poo a nickel, Lisa'. Even for 5 free FS I'll log in; they're free and I've gotten some pretty good playtime from a mere 5 spins.
Now, dep + free spins - not a draw for me.

Any free-spins which are at less than maximum lines is a total SHAM and should not be tolerated! :sob:
It's bad enough that most are at minimum bet - I still remember the "good old days" when Ladbrokes was still MG and they gave out free-spins on TR2 @ £2.10 per spin
Some casinos are so tight these days, they squeak when they walk!

The best part of this promotions if they marketing team belive they are smart and they erned some money with this kind of promtins - find new depositors or got some more deposits in short time......

Yhym of crose every player who use this kind of promotions after notice they reduce line to 5 not maximun line in free spins - never back to this casino and never make deposit again.

So summary they shot in foot and lose more in long period . + Black press in web and bad reputations. So summary they marketing team is not so smart...

Free spins are part and parcel of the offer and influences a player's decision on whether or not to deposit. Reduction to 10 lines and then five is appalling behaviour from the casino.

The good thing is on netent slots I've never experienced stuff like reduced lines before - only on Microgaming.
So when you get a decent Free spin offer for a netent slots (especially with fixed paylines) you know how much they are worth in advance.
