MG reset at Videoslots

Hi all,

Just a heads up, about 1 hour ago I found that all paytable achievements, high scores, and previously unlocked bonus levels have been reset for all MG slots. The latter is naturally the most undesirable reset, given the potentially lengthy time and wagering required to unlock all features. So it's a case of starting all over again :eek2:

I don't know if this is across the board at all casinos offering MG games, I suspect it may be. Perhaps another member here can provide some light on whether this is the case, or whether it's exclusive to Videoslots. I only belong to one casino, so I can't check. I've contacted live support and advised them of the changes. It appears to be in line with a licensing update.

Support has advised that this matter will be investigated, and appropriate compensation will be considered.

I hope the members here have all been doing well, later ;)

I can confirm Betsafe I have no changes PHEEEEW. Still very close to unlock features on Jurassic Park slot. So should be fine there.

Hmmm I seem to remember that last time this thing happened that was at Videoslots as well?? :eek:
 
My wife is pretty mad at the moment..

She had golden freespins tables at IR,TS2,PLAYBOY and 3 away from jurassic park :D
 
Have an update on this...

Videoslots have updated their reward system. This now allows all completed rewards to be reset. They took on board requests by a member or two some months ago to incorporate a system that allows for this, and this has been honoured. It became official as of yesterday I believe. Cudos to them for continuing to listen to their customers, and for doing their utmost to keep them happy.

The downside which appears to have been unforeseen is the reset of the MG slots themselves.

Videoslots are very apologetic for the downside to the improvement to their reward system, and will be providing further information on this via email shortly.

I received a reply from the casino a short while ago. I've confirmed that the reset issue was on MG's end, and unforeseen.

Videoslots is happy to help out, and presumably this applies to all customers inconvenienced by the reset. They've asked what would work for me. Thanks Videoslots, I appreciate your support :)

I presume you are referring to the achievement tables. Free spins don't apply.

Taking screenshots of the achievement tables periodically in future may help. If a reset occurs again, you still have a copy for your viewing pleasure ;)

I just checked Immortal Romance and everything including free spins have been reset so I guess I will have to start from scratch again.:sob:

Yes, unfortunately this applies to all MG slots that require features to be unlocked. Some other eg's include: Playboy, Jurassic Park, TS2, TFROL...

Maybe the clean slate will bring some extra luck 4U? Here's hoping!

The only slot that I really cared about in the free spins is Playboy and JP as in Playboy I like the Sofia feature and in JP I like to pick what feature I get. Who knows maybe you are right and this will improve my luck. I shall say a prayer:D

Yesterday Microgaming and NYX interactive games was moved from our Curacao licence to our Malta licence.

Unfortunately due to technical limitations Microgaming could not move their achievements in some of their games. Any player affected by this is welcome to contact our support for a compensation.

However, with this move, we are now able to add free spins in our Microgaming games, plus the reset button for our Trophy system can be completed and should go live with the beginning of next week.

Please note that no UK players was affected by this.

Another big update together with this change of licence is that tomorrow we will launch our first WMS (Williams Interactive) games!

hi philip seems odd here seeing as when i lost all my achievements not long your casino didn't offer anything at all ( uk player ), a few others did not have any problems putting a decent compensation via the account seems rules for one & rules for another (

Last time it was guts if i remember right

Yip,had this at GUTS a good while ago.
It sucks as also all your FS features are set to 0 again and you have to unlock them again.
Kinda nasty if you ask me and I wonder why this is happening at some casino's sometimes as I think it is not fair.
Reset paytable,I don't care but do not take away all unlocked FS features on the MG slots,that kinda sucks.

Have to say,I got decently compensated at GUTS that time...Fair to be mentioned also!

EDIT: I have now seen Philips comment and I remember GUTS did the same at the time (moving platform) so I understand why it happened.

UK players lost their Microgaming achievements as well when Videoslots moved from Curacao to UKGC. But that was 1 year ago and at that time no other countries was affected.
This is however due to a technical limitation on Microgaming side. But I will let Philip confirm this.

That is correct. When we moved from Curacao to UKGC our UK players lost their achievements on some of the Microgaming slots. And as that had already happened one year ago our UK players were not affected this time over. Due to technical limitations from Microgamings side it was not possible to save the achievements when we moved to our new license.
