This just really gets to me. So I get a "VIP Upgrade" email from Raging Bull that offers a free chip. Cool, right? It says it's available in the lobby. Well, it's not. I go to live chat, and to make a long story short, I'm told that it was sent to ALL Raging Bull players.

FWIW, I'm not pressuring anyone to honor this. Just wanted to let y'all know what they're doing. Maybe it was an honest mistake, maybe it's a ploy to get people to log in and deposit in hopes of getting the free chip; who knows.

I wouldn't have minded as much if they had only sent 1 email, but they sent 3 separate ones. The free chip amount increased with each one, as the first email was the bottom level VIP plan, then the middle, and finally the top tier.

What's up? Maybe the rep can chime in, here?

PS: If the CS live chat operator can't talk to a player right away, then don't connect...leave the player in queue. I'd rather wait in queue than to know the agent is connect but apparently busy helping someone else.

....after a few minutes of silence:

Me: Hello?

CSR: I'm sorry for the delay. I'll be right with you.

CSR: I'll be right with you.

Me: ok

CSR: Thank you for waiting. I'll be with you in just a moment.

CSR: I'm sorry for the delay. I'll be right with you.

CSR: I'll be right with you.

PPS: Although I haven't deposited at Raging Bull, I have at their sister site, Grand Fortune.

Sorry, but this was not an honest mistake. This was done with the sole intention of getting players to log in and make a deposit. No chip would ever be offered by them, even though the e-mails said there was, and mentioned nothing about depositing a penny. I confirmed this via Live Chat.

WOW. Was talking to "Lilly" via live chat discussing this, and she so rudely disconnected me. I wish that I would have set it up to email me the chat before this happened, as I was going to paste it here, but......wow. I was even in the middle of typing "I understand that you're just here to abide by and enforce the rules, but you have to look at it from a player's point of view."

But anyways...

forgive me if I'm missing something here, but where does it say anything about "Hey, work your up to VIP status, and you can achieve these perks!"

NOT COOL AT ALL.

What happened to "... any remaining balance over the maximum cashout will be taken from your account UPON WITHDRAWAL.... "

 This is a dirty, sneaky trick by RTG.

Your right, It was very sneaky indeed, They should have some kind of pop up in place to let you no, I wonder how many people this has happened to and not been able to get there balance back up?

I've also got these emails and as a apologize they offered me a 'Sorry-No-Deposit-Offer' which contains a 15 $ no deposit bonus with a fantastic max cashout of 15 $. I actually didnt even try to wager this crap :p

LOL Are you serious??????? $15 isn't even CLOSE to the minimum required to cash out. And heaven forbid if you were to deposit money into your account with that $15 sitting there...

PS: The rep has been alerted to this thread (as of yesterday,) so hopefully he'll be here Monday to chime in on this.

Wow, glad I'm in the UK, otherwise this would be a casino so steer clear of.

They doaccept U.K, (License ?)

I do not think they are bad, Typical RTG, Rules seem to be laid out, The rep is active and seems to be on form,

They are advertised by some reputable affiliate sites so I guess they have done some home work about the site,

I let you no if I get my $100 squider winnings

Of course it is, it's designed to make it next to impossible to withdraw because you need EXACTLY $100, not a cent above nor below, but the software will suddenly drop your balance to $100 in mid play, leaving the player no time to react by stopping playing and submitting a withdrawal. Drop to $99.99 and it's no good, you now have to win a cent, but ONLY a cent, no more. This means that you now have TWO hurdles to leap, so even if you make WR and have ended up with enough to withdraw, the system is designed to throw another hurdle in front of you so that you end up losing your $100 trying to hit exactly $100.

If the balance was adjusted at withdrawal, then missing the achievement by a couple of spins won't be a problem, you will still be above $100 and will be able to withdraw the $100.

RTG could just as easily have introduced an honest system whereby you were immediately thrown out of the game and into banking as soon as you met WR and had $100, and everything but the option to withdraw that $100 could be locked.

The thing is I managed to get my balance back up to about 200, I kept playing to get some points, When I withdraw I still had 37c in there that did not get wiped?

There was a thread the other day which I canot find, (any pointers :) )About max withdraw, But it was not actually max withdraw but max win on the bonus, Anythink won after you could withdraw,

Now could this be the same? albeit still states max withdraw? but could take out more, I say this as this could be another trap, Say I had that 37c in there and made a depo than I could be denied a win as still had some change from that bonus?

That's INSANE Vinyl!!!!!

Why on earth would ANY casino let alone and RTG one, actively encourage you to withdraw! They're a business and it's the last thing they want!
That's almost akin to a supermarket having automatic barcode scanners on their trolleys so that when you've put $100 worth of goods in a robot voice says "You have spent $100. You must proceed to checkout and not purchase any more goods."

That's almost akin to a supermarket having automatic barcode scanners on their trolleys so that when you've put $100 worth of goods in a robot voice says "You have spent $100. You must proceed to checkout and not purchase any more goods."

The difference is that the supermarket won't keep quiet and then confiscate goods so that you only spend $100 when you go through the checkout. It won't let you pass through, and then send someone out to confiscate the excess goods from your car before you leave.

The RTG system won't even let you play on for enjoyment and bring your balance down to $100 naturally, it wipes the excess in such a way that you inevitably get deceived into playing at least one spin more so that your actual withdrawable balance is one bet less than $100, and then they trap you by not letting you withdraw this balance until you have got it back above $100 again. The system will then wipe it AGAIN when you withdraw, even though you may have played on and won more AFTER it was reduced to $100 because the WR was met. There are many players who were deceived by this system into thinking that they could legitimately carry on playing because the system had already reduced their balance to $100 after WR was met, won again and got their balance higher, and then had it wiped back to $100 again. I think one player even had a RJ confiscated that was won AFTER their balance was corrected to the max allowed after meeting WR.

In this case, you MUST withdraw, there is no other choice. If you want to play on with the $100, you have to withdraw it and redeposit $100 in order to break the link with the bonus and it's max cashout rule.

This whole system goes against the ethos of "playing for entertainment" that the casinos claim they are offering as it requires you to micromanage your balance in a manner that you stop playing EXACTLY at the point of meeting WR, and then formally terminate the bonus contract by withdrawing your allowed $100 before your account is freed for "entertainment play" on a subsequent cash deposit.

Officially, casinos view playing to the exact point of meeting WR and then changing behaviour as "bonus abuse", so in effect, the terms of this RTG system REQUIRES the player to engage in "bonus abuse" in order to stick to the rules.

You are absulute right VWM but like I pointed out after I withdraw I still got 37c in there, This could of been 3700, This could be as its below .50c Who's knows but it did not 0 out after withdraw, Maybe it will if they process my withdraw,

By the way any body know how long it takes

Question for the people that play there. Why play there? I read a few of their terms and all bonuses have max cashouts and significant playthrough. Am I missing something?
