Ukash is no longer selectable/not there in deposit options. I deposited with ukash a couple of hours ago, then went to deposit again and removed. Live chat said ukash themselves were down but I don't know how that translates to the option being removed, and it's still there at other sites. I'd play at Betsson but they don't accept AUD Ukash.

Yeah, when live chat told me that I didn't believe it to be the case. Hopefully it's not a permanent removal, as someone would have had to remove it from the site, and I can't think of any reason why apart from no longer accepting it.

Hi,

We ran into a technical issue with UKash where it was crediting the wrong amount in some cases. We are working with the UKash team now and hope to have it back as a deposit option ASAP. Don't worry, not a permanent thing.

Cheers,

Ben

Ukash is set to be withdrawn by it's new owners (Skrill Group) in the not too distant future. It's being "replaced" by the existing paysafe card product.

Whilst not the case here, there will be a time when UKash is "down permanently" as an option, so it's worth players setting up and trialling what they would like to use as a replacement.

I think Ukash will be a thing of the past soon. More and more they are pushing people towards the ewallet system which I suppose makes some sense. Used Ukash in the past but find its just so much easier with an ewallet like Skrill. Plus you get to withdraw funds at any ATM soon as paid. Just wish Paypal was more widely accepted as I have a Paypal atm card also. But only a handful of casinos offer Paypal as a deposit / withdraw option.

From what I understand PaySafeCards will be sold in the establishments that uKash are currently available and PaySafe is not. I hope that is the case as UKash was a solid option now with the withdraw function available for most markets.

Cheers,

Ben

/derail so Vinly you say Ukash is now owned by Skrill Group? So Paysafe card is owned by Skrill group also? So is this the same Skrill that just got bought out by Neteller? If so Neteller has truly monopolized the market. I just need a little clarification.

Thanks Osulle was wondering the same. And if all that's right then why the hells it so difficult to fund neteller with ukash. Doesn't quite all make sense.

You can fund Netteller with Ukash AFAIK they just charge you 10% which is daylight robbery.

Yes its 3% I think but the vouchers get blocked now quite often and you need to phone UKASH and email them a copy of the voucher and they unblock it then it works. Happened a few times in a row and was such a pain in the ass I never tried again. Simply stick UKASH direct into sites now.

Never used Neteller or Skrill, went as far as registering but that's about it.

Am I right in thinking that these are very similar to Paypal? - In that if I request a casino W/D (W/D lol!) to these methods, upon receipt I can transfer it to my Halifax Bank Account?

Yes Jon you can transfer money from a verified neteller account to the registered bank account. I love neteller as as soon as a casino pays you the money is in your neteller account instantly.

You also get a neteller card where you can withdraw money from any cash machine tho there is a £3 charge.

It means for example I deposit £20 UKASH into say GUTS and I won £500. As neteller is my means of depositing to GUTS I withdraw the £500 and its in neteller account within 2 hours and I can take it out in cash from any ATM. Especially at weekends is easy to get money quick rather than waiting till middle of next week to get money in bank.

When I bet at coral on a Friday I love fact that winnings are in neteller Saturday morning whereas if they were to debit card it would be Tuesday before I receive them.

Cheers Paul:thumbsup:

Forgive me if I'm missing something here then, could a player not transfer from Neteller to registered bank account and then use their bank cash point card thus avoiding the fee?

Or do they compensate by charging £3 to transfer from Neteller to bank?

The transfer from neteller to bank is not instant tho. It takes a few days for it to get to your bank once you transfer it. Not sure of exact time but ive heard it can be anything from 2 to 5 days. Basically its like getting a withdrawal from a casino to your bank when you transfer from neteller.

Whereas if you pay the £3 fee at cash machine you have money in your pocket instantly.

Neteller charges a fee to withdraw to your bank. Not sure how much it is in the UK but I think it's 7.50 euros here if I recall. You can't escape the fees I am afraid.

Whenever I withdraw to my bank it's there 2 days later. (during the week)

It looks complicated, but it does seem to be going that way, and Neteller could end up owning the lot, and having a near monopoly on non card gambling transactions as a result.

It's going to get awkward for those casinos that implement anti-Neteller terms, such as no boni, 100x WR, etc as most methods will end up being a "deposit with Neteller", even if it looks like Skrill, Paysafecard, UKash, etc to the casino. At the same time, traditional debit and credit cards seem to be backing away from easy gambling transactions, which is why there are so many complaints about cards being blocked by banks, deposits failing "for no reason", and withdrawals back to cards suddenly becoming "no longer possible" despite having worked for the player for the past xx years.

The problem with Paysafecard is that the maximum purchase is $100 and it won't let you buy more than $100 worth of vouchers (2x $100 etc).

I can buy up to $2000 in ukash voucher.

Really disappointed to see Ukash go.
