Makes full sense to me. The cashier terms say in the end "The general terms also apply from the website", if you check the website and the general terms, all is there. I don't see anything wrong with that...

It's just so easy to always bash about Tropica, if all members would be that picky with every other casino listed here THAT would be fair... Jeeezz...
 
I'm sure you can find more if your goal is to do what you can to hurt them.

This was yet another player who had broken their rules, and was denied a payment.
Nothing special with that complaint. I've heard it hundreds of time.

????? It says that THE GENERAL TERMS FROM THE WEBSITE also count... How can they be clearer? Yes it's not all on one page, but it's crystal clear.

I'm really getting tired of this... I'm reaching the point where i totally would understand Dieter if he just quits on this forum. Too many members are being unfair in their judgements. You have so many casinos with terms less clear but it's just so cool to always bash Tropica.

This is getting ridiculous now. We all now about the other incident that occurred. The BBF was cancelled etc. They screwed up. But it's in the past. On the whole, that incident aside the general consensus appears to be they're a fairly decent operation with an active rep here. Something that is being put in jeapordy by these pointless warnings about how bad they are. This is just another case of someone who has failed to fully read the terms. Again. Any other casino and nobody would probably care much. I don't play at Tropica. But many here do and that should perhaps speak volumes of how trustworthy people find them. Let's stop the bashing and see a REAL issue, if and when it arises.

But they are terms none the less. A little common sense would tell you that the general terms would also apply. What with them being general and all. And being mentioned that they also apply...

I would say this is a real issue. Maybe they should just forget about the promotion page all together. Now players read the page carefully and think they know what they need to do. WRONG. You need to read the fine print. General Terms, everbody knows nobody reads them EVER! If you get a popup for Flash or some other automatic install, do you agree to the automatic install? Of course you do...
 
That's just BS. Many casinos have smaller, light promotional terms and then they also say that general terms count as well..... MANY casinos.

Its only a FU clause if you cant be bothered to read the T&C's and dont follow the T&C's. Is it that hard to take 5 minutes to read all that you need to know????
 
I think it's time for Casinomeister to act now. It is absolutely ridicoulous to call a casino rogue when they stick to their terms!!! You KNOW that lots of casinos have small promotional terms and then refer to their general terms. You know this. You're just on your personal mission against a casino which treated you not they way you wanted.

Players not reading the terms of a promotion before participating it are the fault of the Casino's how exactly? We see it hundreds of times on here. If you can't be bothered to read the terms and then break them, you only really have yourself to blame unless there is foul play of course.

Ignorance is an explanation. Not an excuse. Nor is it a get out of jail free card if you don't read the terms.

This thread alleviates me of most of the guilt I may have felt about being hard on casinos when I feel they have done me wrong, popular casinos or not.
I may point out a flaw or a transgression, get it off my chest, but not run a crusade campaign against said casino to try and hurt their reputation.
The goal is to have change for the better and a healthy understanding of the situation for the players, not to punish a casino for their crimes. We are not judge jury and executioner. I feel we are all here to hold casinos accountable to make changes, positive ones, and to learn from any mistakes made along the way.

You will find with most of these threads, it's the same people posting at every opportunity.

For the record, MiltonW never had a cashout at Tropica. Their complaint was that they believed they had wagered more that what we were saying they did. Despite busting out and countless chats and an excel spreadsheet showing each bet by coin denomination, they still filed a complaint. The irony is that they continued to log in and play all the free chips we provided right up until January 2015 when Rival closed down for the Netherlands market.

WRT to the post at AGD, it is no different to the thread yesterday, so I don't see any good in rehashing everything. Hoping everyone is ok with that?

As I said in yesterday's thread, these posts are a break from the usual daily queries I deal with. I genuinely don't mind people listing problems and then trying to solve them (for all Rival brands if I can), but it does no one any good when the posts are simply malicious or because of sour grapes (or repetitive).

I can't begin to stress how painfully aware we are of the problem, however we have to wait for Rival to roll out their new lobbies to all brands before this work can begin. The IT architecture is simply structured that way for now :(
