Thank-you again to all the reps and casinos (plus Vortran!) who have pledged prizes! There have been a fair few entries to sift through, and finally I have collated them and noted their scores and numbered them for a draw my daughter is doing in a moment. It's just all your numbers on a screwed-up post-it in order that you entered - that is your number for the duration. The winner this week for Betspin's £250 charity donation will be removed after this week's draw to ensure other entrants get a pick in subsequent weeks.

Of course, a big thanks to those taking the trouble to enter..

Please can people now use this new thread from now-on to ensure the latest quiz stays easily-accessible rather than me tag it all on the end of a presently-large thread which would make it difficult to find. For this reason there will be a new one each Saturday. Week 3's questions below this post!

I will also post again in a short while with a fresh up-to-date list of the staggering donations thus far!

Here we go! Answers for WEEK 2:

11. Notre Dame
12. Ferris Buellers
13. Flamenco Roses
14. Cherubs and Imps
15. Illusions2
16. Yggdrasil the Tree Of Life
17. Piggy Riches
18. Pigskin Payout
19. Viva Venezia
20. Jack AT Beanstalk

And last but not least this week's random charity winner is NUMBER 18 which is mcgameboy and has been drawn by my dear daughter to nominate £250 to a charity of his choice, sponsored by:

Please PM Betspin - Phil with your choice and details so he can make the donation in your name. Well done!

Totally forgot to participate this week!
There goes the perfect score, and my chance of invoking dunny's starburst marathon!
:eek2:

That was my prime motivation so then i will just withdraw and wish all of the rest gl...

If Dunover is happy with this (as he will have to work it out!), I'll throw in an extra prize of £50 for anyone that only submits 3 of the 4 weeks and gets the highest score (split between winners in the event of a tie between 2 people or if more than 2, then we can have a play-off or something - Dunover can decide!)

If dunover is happy with that, i surely would be too, but only would like to add, that if i then manage to get three weeks of perfect score, dunover should do a little 2 hour starburst session at least, and preferably with real money, if need be, and i would win the 50 (unless that was thought for charity too of course) that way, i would kindly donate it for such a session, as 50,- on 0.10 ct. bets should easily last two hours. :)

We can then split the remaining balance if less then 50 it's all for a cause of his choosing, if more then we split and each can do with the profits what he wishes :p (and yes i am counting on a 500x hit of course, that'll teach him to dis the game)

Or am i asking too much now?
Incentive, incentive!

That's a great idea

Dunny if you take this challenge then I promise to stop calling you that.
Otherwise I will make sure it stays in everyones memory forever :p

Thanks Simmo! I have a sheet with all the results so can easily work out a 3/4 table too - exclusively for the stoners that missed a week! So, yes we can have a £50 cash prize for the part-timers, if there's 2 we can split it, no problem! :D

P.S. Of course you're assuming I wouldn't have to do the 4-hour St* anyway, as nobody can get all 40 correct?

That is a different challenge, and I'm sure someone will get all 40 correct :)

So will you take on both of them?
Now remember there is many who do all four but very few, if anyone, that will do just 3 and have all the correct answers.

So a Dunny or the dunover that we have come to know? ;)

Just wanted to say that I completely echo the sentiments of lotusch after he was the lucky Week 1 winner.

I'm absolutely thrilled that The Quizmeister's daughter picked my number out of the hat and gave me this wonderful
privilege and honour to nominate a charity.

I have PM'ed Betspin-Phil and "The Quizmeister" of my choice.

Phil has already PM'ed me to tell me that this will be taken care of on Monday and he will PM me again once it's done. Thanks Phil. :notworthy

A big thank you to Phil, Betspin, The Quizmeister and of course his dear daughter for making all of this possible. :notworthy

Only someone with about 50 hours per week to spend going through EVERY slot on Simmo's site could get all 40!

I must admit, when you started this quiz I was expecting most to be from the top 6 or 7 software providers - but in Wk2 more than half were from what I would call very minor and obscure sources :eek2:

There is no chance I will ever get more than 3 or 4 per week. But it is fun trying!

An excellent choice and worthy cause, I just took a look. How brave the little ones can be compared to us!
£250 well spent, thanks everybody!

I would respectfully disagree KK. Doing well at this quiz might come down to HOW you search, as well as WHAT you search.
There are definitely ways of saving big chunks of time on searches, even when you don't know the answers.

I can say hand on heart that I had NEVER played any of the 10 games that were featured last week. And I had only even
heard of three of them (Pigskin Payout, JATB and Piggy Riches). And one of them (Pigskin Payout) is purely down to gagamel
posting a winners screenie of it. I thought I was totally screwed last week. And that was before I got the erm...."man flu"
that laid me out for 4 days.

I didn't start scavenging for answers until Friday at 11am. So I've got a maximum of 13 hours to find symbols for 10 games that
I've never played in my life. And 7 of them are games I haven't even heard of, let alone played. Only one way to approach this...
improvisation. I'm not going to reveal what I did (it's a competition after all ;) ), but some of it worked out pretty handsomely.

If I did a search run where I started at 0-9 and finished at Z, I'd get bored very quickly and throw the head up. So in order to
avoid that problem, I try to improvise.

Last week, I have to admit I caught a few breaks and got lucky. But I made some of that luck for myself.
I might not be so lucky this week. "The Quizmeister" has surely got a handful of aces up his sleeve and it's
only a matter of time before he plays them. The "Bastardo-meter" is gonna get a major settings adjustment soon...:icon_evil:axeman::axeman2:

I think we going to need a Haynes Manual for this this quiz :D

A great charity mcgameboy.
Glad to see donations go to such great projects.

As for the quiz,I could not put much time in it last week as I am still recovering from tonsilitis and also my mum has been in hospital for a week now so this all consumed a good bit of my time.
I also have to say in all fairness I underestimated the difficulty level of this quiz as before this kicked off,I was sure to recognise a few straight away every week but as mentioned before, some softwares I do not play so I would never ever recognise any of their slots.

But I do enjoy scavenging for the correct answers but like in week 1 I spent 3+ hours browsing Simmo's excellent database but no luck.
And I went from 0-9 to Z.
Very easy to miss the answers after searching for so long I suppose. :)

Anyway I try again this week as I will post answers every week.

This week looks erm..........not good for me...

I recognise only 1 straight away and that's it. ^^

Week 3's Charity Sponsor..

.....is £250 from Erik on behalf of:

The winner will be drawn from this week's entrants Saturday. Remember, those that have already won in the previous 2 weeks are not in the draw!

Good luck!

Well, you never really confirmed you were going with my mini starburst torture challenge, and to be honest, i have been unable to make time for this dastardly quest:) I am betting all on Tiri to make you suffer

Still will follow the contest as i am curious to see who will win it, what happens with the challenge and of course what charities will be gifted!

I think 4 hours' punishment is enough on St*rb*rst.
I have set aside time for that. Just in case although it seems unlikely I'll have to do it...:D
It will all be on video to prove it just to please you sadistic bastards.

OK, just to let you know 16 hours from the time of this post to get week 3's answers in.

There's some notable absences thus far but I'm sure they'll come rolling in today...;)
I've got to be honest - in my opinion the quiz is just too darned hard as most images seem to be from "obscure" software I have rarely, if ever played.
Instead of players racking their brains to remember where they've seen the symbols, the winners will be people who have just spent hours wading through 100's of slot reviews on Simmo's site to find games they have probably never played.
Anyone who wins one of the cash prizes will certainly have earned it!

I will now submit my entry with just one name on it. :eek2:

Cheers,
KK

Making it too easy would simply create a lottery. No pain, no gain!

Some people find it easy...;)

I thought an affy like you would have years of experience in seeing different games and therefore have a slight advantage.:D

One answer could be all it takes to win the weekly charity donation
