Blackjack playing conditions

This has happened to me twice so far: I start playing BJ in an online casino, I start winning and then without any warning, they change the playing conditions on me. I like to play for one unit bet and suddenly it’s 10. The max bet may be 200 it suddenly cut in half to 100. I even wonder, when they change conditions like that, can they do it «just for you» or does the change affect everyone. It’s obvious to me they want to get rid of players who are winning. It’s unethical and quite unfair. Has this ever happened to you and what can be done about it?

Fair playing conditions for blackjack in online casinos have not existed since Fall 2009. They have no system/protocol for assuring you that the cards are actually randomly drawn. In a live casino, you can see the cards in the shoe. Not so with online casinos. They take advantage that you assume they are fair but are not. It's not enough for them to have the house advantage on their side. They want to make sure no betting system even temporarily make significant profit hence the narrowing between the min/max bets. Some even ban any type of betting system (I'm not talking about bots). Some may win at blackjack but in my opinion they are lucky token winners for marketing purposes. I do not play online casinos anymore outside of regulated ones in New Jersey. I suggest you and every one else to do the same.

Withdraw your funds.
Name and shame.
Play elsewhere.

If they are doing this, it means they don't have any confidence in their software. If they did, they would know that the house always wins in the end. It also demonstrates that despite assurances to the contrary, casinos DO monitor individual players in real time, and can adjust game settings on the fly.

Was this twice with the same software?

The first time it happened to me was with

. I was playing a modified martingale and max bet was 200 units. I was making a good profit (nothing to get rich, but about 700$ is ok). Anyways, I login and start playing without noticing the change until I tried to bet over 100: NOT. Table max had changed. Cashed out and never played there again.

This time it’s worse, much worse. I’ve been playing a modified d’Alembert at

(I only play blackjack) with minimum bet being 1 unit and max bet 200, that suits me fine. I log in to play and the minimum bet is now 10 (that’s 10x more ). Yeah, withdrawing my funds would be nice, but since the wagering requirements haven’t been met, I’m stuck: can’t withdraw and they control the playing conditions. They don’t like winning customers. I find this situation to be quite unethical and I’m at their mercy. I don't suggest anyone to play there, unless this is resolved. Any suggestions?

There is so much BS in this thread that I'm having to be careful where I tread! :eek2:

2 accredited and regulated casinos doing "funny business" with one of their games? Seriously? :what:
And Westland Bowl claiming that said casinos are running rigged software...?
Long time since I've read anything as ridiculous as this.
If I'm wrong - prove it!

And throw in a bit of the old 'roulette systems' for good measure.

From a respected industry insider:
"If, at any time in the month, the result of a player winning a wager would put the casino into the red, then the player lost that bet. The software was otherwise fair 100% of the time."

"In this [another] case, the operator could adjust the "bust percentage" of the dealer in blackjack. By fine tuning this percentage (deal the dealer another card every so often if he busts), the overall RTP of the game could be fine tuned to whatever the client wanted."

"In a third situation, I became aware of software that was gaffed. In this case, blackjack was dealt from two shoes, while the software gave the impression it was dealt from one shoe. Internally, there was a shoe for the player and a shoe for the dealer. The dealer's shoe had all its cards. The player's six-deck shoe had 20 ten-valued cards removed and 4 Aces removed. The net was to give a house edge of 5%"

I've written the person above: "I have experienced these things since November 2009 and I have not won once since then. But I am just a tin-hat conspiracy theorist!"

His response: "It's much worse than anyone can say in public due to NDA's. It is sick. You are not a tin-hat conspiracy theorist any longer."

Having played blackjack for a long long time, I get a feel for how it plays. When winning hands are very evasive no matter what strategy you employ and does this for a very long time across many casinos, it's time to call it what it is: rigged. Plain old rigged sh*t. This isn't going to satisfy those who need "proof" but I'm standing by it and it is what it is. A problem with providing "proof" is revealing my betting strategy with which I won $40K from Heroes Casino and more from other casinos years ago. I just don't like showing it in order to prove my statement. All I'll say is when I bet low, I get normal blackjack play; when I bet bigger amounts, I get blackjack pushes, losing double downs, my 20 loses to 5-6 card 21s... over and over again... more than reasonable. That's all I got to say about that.

The betting schemes had nothing to do with the results, I have lost money in numerous casinos before (most of them accredited, some not), but in these two cases, I was winning and they «cut me off», or at least changed the playing conditions to «invite me out». With Totesport, I was let to withdraw (no harm done), but with Euro Palace, I’m locked-in and they’ve changed the limits on me. They can squeeze the money out of my account the way they want, they control the rules and I can’t go anywhere.
