Hey, everyone.

I'm from NC, so we only have 1 casino: Harrah's on the Cherokee reservation. They comp water and soft drinks, but no alcohol.

My in-laws live in Tulsa, OK. In May, I will be going for a week, and I'd like to spend a night or 2 gambling. Can anyone recommend a good casino? I prefer live table games, especially 3 Card Poker. And comped alcohol and promotions are a plus. :p

tulsa ok

I do not know of any casino that will comp alcohol period. Prices vary from one to the other and can run anywhere from 3.50 a bottle to 6.50
Coffee and cokes are comped
You have to be careful with any table games as some casinos charge for each hand played that goes to the casino. This fee again runs
from what I understand 25 cents a hand to 1.50
The only place that comps alcohol is in Shreveport Louisiana there are six casinos there but from Tulsa that is a decent drive
We have not played much up in the Tulsa area so can't really suggest one over the other, some have poker and some don't
Wish you well and have a lot of fun

This is my neck of the woods lol.. In Tulsa I prefer River Spirit Casino and Hard Rock. I believe Hard Rock is in the port not directly in Tulsa. Both payout more in my opinion. The little town I am from on the Kansas/Oklahoma border is opening up a new casino Monday so there won't be any need for me to go to Tulsa for a while...If you are up this way (only an hour from Tulsa) check it out. Good luck to you when visiting Tulsa.

play in Tulsa

Not to hijack this thread but Tanya can you tell me where the new one is opening at .We may make the drive up there and try it out
Is it opening for sure Monday the 16th of Feb

I don't play there as I'm not close enough to the area but I have a friend that likes the Hard Rock near Tulsa. There's some smallish-mediumish size decent atmosphere and quality casinos near Grand Lake which is also close to there, and I hit a couple decent JP's passing through there once. Town could be Grove, Oklahoma, but I can't remember right now. Oklahoma is land casino plentiful, almost all owned by two Indian tribes, about a hundred physical locations in the state now I think. Some are better than others, but Grand Casino near Shawnee is probably the nicest property overall.
