Hey everyone - saw an ad for a new casino (not going to link it direct but its called spingenie) today so went to have a look.

Very professional website, all the required licences including a UK one, net ent games, IGT games I mean it looked great! I was about to sign up but thought always read the terms so I checked out the first deposit bonus terms and all looked fine. Then it said at the bottom "general terms apply" so ok I went to read the general terms...

General terms section C is about bonuses etc so I had a read. It explains all about wagering requirements etc which is fine but then there is this bombshell

d.The maximum permitted win using Bonus Funds is £100

:lolup::lolup: what a joke - I felt like USA players must feel when signing up to some dodgy RTG. What on earth is the point in depositing for that? If I want to play net ent without a bonus I will play GUTS all day every day, the only way this casino is getting tested is for the first deposit bonus and lol no chance now!

Are you sure that WD limit isn't for no deposit bonuses or free bonus money?

It does state on the free spins part of the sign up the max win on those free spins is £100 so it could very well be like you say. However it is worded in the general terms like ALL bonuses come with max win of £100. I will copy paste more of the section here

19.Rules in relation to Bonus Funds: The following rules apply to your use of Bonus Funds:

a.Until Wagering Requirements are met any winnings from the Bonus Balance shall be added to the Bonus Balance as Bonus Funds;
b.Both sums from your Cash Balance and your Bonus Balance count towards Wagering Requirements;
c.Bonus Funds may only be wagered on slot Games. Bonus Funds may not be wagered on Table Games;
d.The maximum permitted win using Bonus Funds is £100;
e.We may cancel any unused Bonus Funds in your Bonus Balance if it has not been used after 40 days;
f.Each Bonus is only available once per player; and
g.Wagering Requirements are reset once all Bonus Funds have been spent.

I know there are some casinos that have silly max withdrawal limits on deposit bonuses but 100 is so low I'm trying to give the casino the benefit of a doubt (assuming all else looks fine with the casino). I guess the only way to know for sure is to either post the name of the casino and hopefully someone here will know the answer, or contact their rep here (assuming they have one), or contact CS.

No matter how low the deposit made no deposit bonus should come with a withdrawal limit imho. I know some have it but still, it's like throwing your deposit away. Especially one as low as 100 limit...geez.

I already named it in my OP if you have a look, I just declined to link it directly.

I agree with you that they might have intended it to be for no deposit promotions but at the moment in the general terms they clearly have it applying to deposit bonuses as well. Ridiculous.

It seems that it applies to all bonuses. I see Total Gold and Castle Jackpot on operators website, there have been some threads with mixed reviews.
Bonuses are only for UK players.

SPINGENIE is the name.

The £100 bonus win limit is either one of two things: The operators are complete a$$wipes and are out to shaft players OR the term is designed to apply to the free tenner ONLY (as is common on all free bonuses) and the SUB is not under the same restriction but the terms haven't been properly checked and edited.

I believe the latter is the most likely. Simple answer is to e-mail the CS and clarify it before you deposit. If the former is correct run away as fast as possible and DO NOT DEPOSIT there ever!

E-mailed the CS more than one hour ago. Up to now no response:rolleyes:

And now drum roll please

This is the response to my e-mail:

Hi Sascha.

Thanks for getting in touch. To withdraw from Bonus Funds winnings, you must deposit and play through the Welcome Bonus wagering requirements Any winnings from your Welcome Bonus are also subject to a fair-use policy and are capped at a maximum win of £100.

I hope this resolves your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Well, thank you:lolup:

Well what bollox that is! It renders the SUB pointless and unless players read this term and are aware of it, it will lead to a lot of arguments and disappointment for those caught out.
I can't believe sites have the audacity nowadays for nonsense like this. Either complete incompetents run this site or they have bad intentions toward their players. Steer clear.:(

This.

Can't believe somebody is capable of pulling this stunt. It's probably the roguest term I have ever seen.
The SUB is 200% up to a 100! I honestly believe no one would even expect it to be capped at that.

They should at least mention the max cashout in the SUB terms, on the promo page, not hide it in general terms.
Clear trap, what a bunch of morons.

I think Max or Bryan should post a Warning.

Im going to try and see whats going on, It does belong to gamingrealms that has castle jackpot and a few other platforms,

I had no problem with the out fit, I no CJ did drop there Friday bonus from from 100% to 50%

Absolutely. Any reputable site has a direct link to bonus terms within the promo panel for that bonus. It is entrapment for the unwary whom if they win will then be given the 'FU' referral to the terms in the general rules.

This is why it's so important to go through sites in groups you aren't familiar with with a fine-tooth comb.

The thread a few weeks back about totalgold https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/total-gold.64560/?t=64560 Had nothing to do with the realem gamings back than ?

After seeing in the terms (spingenie) that the free bonus money from spins is caped at 100, I no some one mentioned that they had a reply from help, and in standard terms it states 100 cap, But this cannot be right? Surley not,

New Casino Terms

Thank you very much for all of your feedback and we apologize for the ambiguity of the T's and C's - They are currently under review for change in January 2015.

If I may clear up a few points, Spin Genie only enforces a £100 win cap on it's registration bonus, which currently is 50 free spins, and was previously £10 free.

In order to receive the registration bonus, a user must enter valid credit/debit card details in their account, but no funds will be taken in order to receive the registration bonus.

The registration bonus is subjected to 60x wagering requirements and if met, the winnings from the registration bonus will be transferred to the players cash balance up to a maximum of £100. If you have won more than £100 off either the free spins or our previous no deposit bonus - only £100 would be transferred to your cash wallet and the rest of the bonus funds would be forfeit.

We do not enforce a win cap on any other bonuses, only the registration bonus when the user is not required to deposit.

We believe this is a fair policy and in line with other online casinos.

If you have any further questions, comments or feedback please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thanks for coming in and clearing things up. Seeing as you're here I would also recommend contacting the site admin (Bryan) and go through the process of setting up your forum acct as a rep acct for spingenie.
